We stayed here 18 months ago and loved it so much we returned recently for a 3 day mini break with our 2 dogs. The Hotel could not have been more accommodating. The food was excellent although far too much so I was unable to find room for any pud on the last night having pigged out on the previous...

Thank you for your review and I am so pleased you enjoyed your mini break with us. We are used to four legged friends visiting with their well behaved adults and i trust they like you enjoyed their time here on the Estate.

Wonderful country hotel. The room was spacious and well-appointed and both dinner and breakfast were very good. The staff create a relaxing atmosphere. One small criticism - the shower might have both hotter and more plentiful - a small issue in what was a very pleasant stay.

Thank you for your review and we are pleased you enjoyed your stay. We can occasionaly be victims of our very ancient plumbing and this is something we are constantly working on

Food delicious, room delightful, location ideal, noise of fellow guests- horrendous. Not a wink of sleep due to guests in adjacent rooms having intercourse. Noise levels increased gradually as the night progressed from other rooms. Shame, overall food, room and location was great

Having a birthday at the beginning of February is not usually the best time to take a holiday in this country, but we were not disappointed with our choice of hotel. We had stayed here a number of years ago, enjoyed it then , so decided to spend 5 days there again. The location of the Boar's Head Hotel is...

Our room was lovely, very roomy and well appointed. The staff were very efficient, professional and friendly. We didn't have an evening meal but the breakfast choice was very good and the food likewise.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Had a meal in the dining room which was lovely, I had the liver which was cooked just right. We stayed in one of the rooms in the court area which was very clean and Comfortable, only issue was the room was too hot for us. Really enjoyed our stay.

Managed to take advantage of a winter break offer the the Boars Head Hotel Ripley. Friendly staff, lovely Superior room. Absolutely fanstic fine cuisine in the Dining room exceptional quality. Our stay enabled us to walk the grounds of Ripley Castle using concessionary tickets from the hotel and cycle on the Nidderdale Greenway from Ripley to Harrogate via Knarsborough.

After picking up a bargain on booking.com we booked on the morning of our stay. Very pleasant welcome and we were shown to our room, very nice clean and warm. My partner surprised me with a night away here and I could not have been happier. The staff were all really friendly and helpful - especially at breakfast. (Kudos to finding serving staff who are so chipper first thing of a Sunday morning!) We stayed in the superior room - I have noted that alot of people have commented on...
