The Latin Quarter has been sold and is now a residence. It is no longer open. The restaurant is closed as well. I must repeat this so it is 200 characters. The Latin Quarter has been sold and is now a residence. It is no longer open. The restaurant is closed as well.

the latin quarter incapsulates all the best bits of brasil; the colours, the atmosphere, the people and puts them all under one roof. I visited many cities in brasil on my travels in brasil and stayed in dozens of different hotels and hostels but when I walked into the latin quarter and met the lovely people who worked there I... I stayed here with a few friends during our kite trip to Brasil on the month of October 2010. Katie is an excellent host and fun to party with. Calabresa is the cutest little dog! This place also serves the best breakfast in Taiba. Ive stated in lots of hostels in S&C. America. This place is on my list of... More

At the Latin Quarter, time is spent enjoying life, nature, friends and the ocean. The rooms are adorable, the atmosphere is fantastic, the food delicious but the best part of it is the people. Whether the team serving you or the other guests, all adventurers with great stories

I have stayed at this location or more than one occasion and cant think of a nicer spot in Taiba. The rooms are fairly basic but clean and surround a fabulous courtyard area with gorgeous plants n trees including mangos and palms. There is a small bar area serving the best caiprihinas in Brazil! A relaxing area where movies and... More

I stayed here with my boyfriend for 3 weeks. The room we had was perfect for us, en-suite and hammock out front for lazy mornings (and evenings). The plants and layout of the hotel give you privacy when you want it and when you don't the staff are friendly and attentive, serving the best Caipirinha de Maracuja I've ever had!

totally unusual, one of a kind place making it odd to rate it through mainstream media great concept, great 'home' feel, great pizza, great reggae, greatest athmosphere and somewhat a remarkable same bunch of guests all mixing merrily

I arrived at The Latin Quarter unsure what to expect and enjoyed the best trip ever, so much so I extended my trip for 2 weeks to 4!! The Latin Quarter is funky, friendly and great value for money. It is small enough to be personal and big enough to enjoy privacy and get some alone time. The rooms are... More

The Latin Quarter has a chilled out vibe, with simple but clean rooms and great service. It is in a great location, a short walk from the town square and just across the road from the long sandy beach. Kate, the owner was more than happy to help with everything that we needed (from buggy rides to the kiting beach,... More
