We stayed here on our way to South West France. We booked the two bedroom apartment. The apartment was spacious and clean with very comfortable beds and could easily have slept five or six. The grounds were simply gorgeous. A moat around the actual chateau and beautiful grounds for the kids to run around in. We enjoyed on the evening...

The hosts Franck & Fabienne were charming, helpful and accommodating during our two night stay here. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the grounds and tasting the delicious and freshly prepared meals from their organic gardens and orchard. When travelling with young children it isn't always easy to find somewhere that has not only the features you want but is flexible and...

Beautiful chateau with its own moat set in open countryside - our family of 5 stayed in the 2-bed suite in the chateau itself although there were other family options in the surrounding outbuildings so worth enquiring. The suite itself was very spacious, nicely decorated with huge windows overlooking the grounds and the countryside beyond. Dinner was great value in...

Quiet, peaceful, charming French chateau experience. Dinner prepared by owner using home grown vegetables. Excellent, good value evening meal and adequate breakfast. Owners very helpful and welcoming. This was a gem of a find!

Excellent locally-grown vegetarian dinner feast. Walked home through the fields to our woodland room. Breakfast left in a basket outside our door on the veranda of our tree-house. Free bicycle exploration before dinner

We stayed for only one night in the Marie Antionette Suite - One double room and one room with 2 single beds with interconnecting doors. Bathroom was in our room, very powerful toilet flush (with a pump) which caused amusement to us all! Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Chateau is impressive to look at and set in lovely grounds....

Its very old and sympathetically restored to maintain authenticity but at the expense of all that you would expect from an expensive b&b. The toilet was down the corridor and the shower was acceptable but not not exceptional, the washbasin had poor water supply. The owner was very pleasant and helpful but the room information was missing the fact that...

The Chateau de Villiers is a beautiful to stay at. The family is are very welcoming, even though there is not a 'reception' there is a bell to ring so no need to hover around or look for someone. There is also a nice field in which you can picnic or play on. Also with this they have animas which...

We stayed at Chateau de Villiers for one night stopover on our way back to the UK. We liked the look of the place, it was really quiet, but no one came to welcome us when we got there. So we made our own way to find someone in there. The spirit of the place is eco friendly and organic....
