We attend as a family with our pet and it was a very nice experience to find out that my dog was able to walk around the hotel without restrictions. Our dog was welcome even at the restaurant. Dogs are not allowed to swim in the pool but are welcome to be around it.
The personnel is excellent and very helpful.

Gorgeous, huge property and two large, clean pools. The lawns, gardens and pools are all very well maintained. Staff are friendly and there are lots of safety precautions with COVID. There is secure car parking on property.
There are no nearby restaurants, (not even most basic) meaning you need to use your car if you want to eat elsewhere. The restaurant has a limited menu for lunch and dinner plus the typical breakfast choices. You may order room service with same prices as at the restaurant which is a big plus.
Internet in the rooms is weak due to thick walls. We moved from the first room but inside the second room was only marginally better for Internet.
There is a Starbuck's on the property but it has a very restricted menu serving mostly beverages.

+1
Amazing not only as hotel but also as restaurant. Great food and very attentive service. Beautiful environment, fantastic landscapes. Deserves a visit while in Cuernavaca. They were so kind they let us approach our car to the restaurant due to all wheel chairs were already occupied and they didn’t have other available.

The hotel is beautiful. Believe the rest of the reviews on this. However, the service in general was so poor and slow. They have plenty of staff but somehow they all stand there without doing anything. Ordering breakfast was a 2 hour affair. My husband has celiac disease andI showed the waiter what he can and cannot eat (in Spanish). They brought something completely different after a 30 minute wait. Since we were there for a wedding (frankly, if you are not there for a wedding don't go because you won't be able to sleep due to the noise), we couldn't sleep much as the music was very loud till early in the morning and our room was next to the party.
Also, brides beware! Make sure your contract doesn't say that you need to pay for cancellations or no-shows and make sure it has a deadline so you let your guests know!

Came to Cuernavaca for a wedding. First off, the grounds and hotel are absolutely stunning from the lobby, pool areas, restaurant. Almost "park like"Even the Starbucks on premises was in a cave like area. This place would be worth the price if the rooms weren't so dark and the food was better. The buffet was average although we paid same price for food during weekday that was much better and more options available for the weekends. We ordered room service one night and one item was a tri tip sandwich. Very little meat and filled with lettuce etc. Not worth the price. Also, not much around to walk to as far as stores, etc. (surrounded by houses). This place would be exceptional if service/food better

This property has spectacular gardens and some beautiful buildings. The pools are very good. The rooms are getting a little bit worn and could use some remodeling. The quality of the food was mixed -- some dishes were excellent while others were mediocre.

The Hacienda is amazing and very well maintained. Thera are some annoying issues that should improve. They only give ONE complementary coffee pod in a double room. They charge for any extras. The room did not have water bottles. At the pool bar they refuse to give us a glass of water saying they only had bottles when the day before they gave us a couple. The food at the restaurant is TERRIBLE, I sent back a risotto at dinner and a quesadilla at breakfast (This is probably the third time in my life I send back food).

Beautiful place to spend a few days resting. We went to a master suite from Sunday to Tuesday, the hotel with little occupancy was fully enjoyed. Although at breakfast it was very salty, the friendliness of the waiters was exceptional. Highly recommended to visit this hotel.

We are Fiesta Rewards members. When we arrived we asked for an upgrade. We we provided room 125. The room needs to be maintained. The bathroom floor has numerous chips in the tile. The shower floor tile needs to be replaces. The toilet seat is beige and toilet is white. It looks they found it somewhere. There is a rough, square hole in the wall by the toilet for access to plumbing, There is one small picture in total on the walls in the whole unit. The room is sterile. The air conditioning fan was full on or off. This was the upgrade.
We have a Tesla. On the third night, last night, my wife who is Mexican, asked twice in Spanish to charge the car. She was promised twice it was being charged. One of the reasons we stayed there is the availability of charging. This morning after asking more than once and waiting more than 10 minutes her Tesla came. There was no one else waiting for a car. Her Tesla was not charged. if it had been we could have made it to San Miguel without stopping. We had to then find a super charger in Cuernavaca and wait an hour for the car to be charged sufficiently to make it home.
This hotel unlike in the past has some serious management issues. NOT RECOMMENDED.

We have 4 dogs, All are rescued and we love dogs. The hotel allows dogs and normally that is not an issue. In room 243 for 3 hours a dog has been barking and scratching at the door. We are in room 242. Twice my wife called the front desk. She speaks Spanish. They did nothing. I went to the front desk after nearly 3 hours. They were not smart enough to call the person booked in room. 243. They were not smart enough to go to the outdoor movie and asked if anyone was there from room 243 when the movie was still playing. All dog owners should read and sign the conditions for having a dog on the property and one of the requirements is a dog is not to be left alone in a room. I have a 20 second video but not allowed to up load here. We checked out a day early with no credit for doing so.
When checking out another couple were compelling the room was dirty, torn curtains, mosquitos and not the upgrade they paid for.
It is a long weekend and there are few guests where as at one time this hotel would be packed. Sadly, this was a major employer for the small community but obviously less so now. There are several other negative reviews. It is time for some major changes in the management of this hotel.
