We stayed for 5 nights in early May with breakfast and dinner included. This was one of the best decisions during our trip, since the food prepared by the chef Stefan (3-course dinners and breakfast served at tables) was excellent every time and definitely great value for the money. We got to taste a large variety of dishes and due to limited amount of dining options nearby, it was actually really convinient to have dinner included in the accommondation. Our room that was situated in a separate building was nice and clean with lots of space. The terrace was facing the ocean with only a small road in between, so you could easily enjoy your Seybrew beer (bought from the mini market next to the villa) there in pleasant and private settings. I would highly recommend renting a car during the stay here, especially since the location is away from the main road and the busier touristic areas. The car makes moving around the island easy and I think it is anyway useful on Praslin. As for the car, I would choose a small car and maybe also zero collision waiver to alleviate any stress of driving the very steep and narrow roads. The villa location in the corner of the island is very peaceful and there are two nice beaches right next to the villa. The staff made us feel welcome, as they were very friendly and helpful with everything we needed. Thank you for the lovely stay Mme Georgette, Kenny and Stefan!

This is a very nice bed and breakfast with spacious, clean and comfortable rooms and next to wonderful beaches. A nice secluded piece of paradise, and if you have a rental car (recommend renting one) you have easy access to this gem and the rest of Praslin. Madame Georgette (the owner) and her staff go out of their way to make you feel at home and provide you with very useful information about Praslin. We loved the restaurant, very cozy and excellent food. We tried several restaurants on Praslin and Madame Georgette's was always the best, her octopus curry and whole small grilled fish was heavenly plus she made the best pi~a coladas. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast. Hope to return again!

The location is a bit isolated, but easy to visits the island if you rent a car. The room is nice, but consider you have to walk up over 80 stairs to get to the room. The restaurant is not good, we had an ok calamari and really horrible chicken curry. The chicken curry was very little, mostly bones and nerves, served with a bit of rice and salad at 350 rupees. After we sent it back without touching the owner did not want to remove it from the bill. Price both for the room and the restaurant are exaggerate for the quality and the owner, as often in the Seychelles, is focus to get as much money as she can from the clients. Very short term vision unfortunately.

We started our visit to the Seychelles with a weeks stay on Praslin and checked in at the Villa Anse La Blague. It is located at the far eastern end of the island, way from busy tourism spots. A narrow road snakes through the forest leading to the location. And there, nestled on the mountain side is the villa with stairs leading up to it and the guest house behind it. Several terraces invite to just sit and take in the ocean view. The beach is literally only a couple steps away, 30 meters or so. My favorite place is the dining room. It has no windows and Madame Georgette made it very clear to us that this is now our home. And that is how she and her team made us feel every single day! Next to having our meals there we just loved to hang around and chat with the team or enjoy the WiFi connection. There are only three guest rooms directly on the premises. Some steps down the road is another house for accommodating families. The rooms are spacious and feature a terrace of their own with a breathtaking view of the ocean. One can just sit there and listen to the waves. Food at the villa is amazing! Breakfast consists of fruits, porridge or yoghurt, eggs in any form you want, toasts and marmalade. It sets you up with enough energy to get you through the day full of exploration. Once you return, a delicious dinner awaits you. It is a three course meal with fish or meat and a tasty desert to top it off. I am very thankful for having had the chance to spend an amazing week at Villa Anse La Blague. We came as strangers and leave as friends. Thank you, Madame Georgette, Mona & K. K. - you are amazing and made our stay with you a true delight!

We spent 6 days at Villa Ansa la Blague. The hotel reflected our desires: it was very clean and peacefull, big room and super shower. Gorgeous terrace with a view. We had dinner there every night and each single dinner was delicious. Very tasty and lot of food. Another wonderful thing was the kindness of our landlady, Georgette and her son Stephan. They care so much about having happy clients. They are always there for you! I must say THANK YOU!!! Now we feel we have some friends in gorgeous Praslin. MISS YOU GEORGETTE AND STEPHAN!!!!
