We stayed here for one night. The location is great. The ocean is very calm specifically at this location due to a big reef. This makes it a little rocky, but it’s about 100 feet of ocean with waist to shoulder level water. Great for kids. It very laid back, get disconnected from the world. I didn’t miss the WiFi; it actually helped my family get acquainted once again :) The place is clean however not the most up to date. We loved it. If you are expecting a Marriott or Hyatt, then don’t go here. If you are looking for a good, no frills experience close to nature, you won’t be disappointed

In general, the hotel is terrible! The only one plus is there are hammocks all over the hotel grounds. There is no beach on its property, plus it’s very rocky all around. The hotel’s swimming pool is very small. No Wi-Fi! Wi-Fi is suppose to be around the front desk/restaurant area, but it did not work at all. Hotel’s restaurant is bad. Food was awful every single day, plus it was exactly the same menu with a poor selection. Service was super slow! Food and drinks were overpriced. My room (2-C) was very crappy, as if I stayed at $30 roadside motel. All the room’s furniture was old and destroyed. The bed (and pillows) was super uncomfortable. Bathroom amenities were super cheap and had no scent. The toilet flush did not work fully, pressure was not strong. The price I payed for this hotel really scares me. It should have only cost like $50 per night (only because it included the Resort Fee). And I payed 3 times more... Meh! I can recommend this hotel only for 1-2 night stay to experience the island, enjoy the wild nature and swim in the Caribbean Sea (you have to take a $3 or $5 boat ride and go to another part of the island where there is a good sand beach with no strong waves). Afterwards RUN!

We have stayed in the resort for 4 days and I tried to detect the ”rude behavior of the staff” which many reviewers addressed and I actually experienced the opposite! The staff is friendly, helpful and very patient (we have a 7 year old son and our Spanish is at the same level as their English :) The resort does need maintenance in quite some areas, which for a large part probably can be solved by hiring a skilled handyman. The rooms are also not very luxurious, but clean with a sufficient AC and the beds are good. It is after all not a 4 or 5 star resort, so it absolutely met our expectations. In conclusion: I highly recommend this beautiful and unique hideaway to those who are able to put things in perspective and are aware that that friendliness always works both ways :-)

What helpless staff not being trained to look after visitors and tourists that come to relax and spend some holidays. Long faces not even one smile, every time we asked questions about the place, apart from Jackeline who is in charge of the massage services always trying to be a helpful hand and giving you advice very humble and lovely lady. The hotel didn’t have neither Gin or tonic water you are not allow to bring drinks because they will make you an extra charge for that. It’s such a beautiful place but the manager was not in good mood most of the time, did ask her for some info about the facilities and she sound careless, I think they need to be trained in costumer satisfaction in order to make more business attract more visitors other wise close the doors and leave.

Stayed in hotel before and it was great service (owners where in the island that day), I decided to come back after a few months and I did not have a good experience, most of the items of the menu were gone (they say they run out), got charged per boat ride on my kids (less than 6 years) because they said boat from hotel was broken. Although some people offered good service some others had really bad attitude-Yuri seemed to be in charge and had super bad attitude wanting customers to go out of the island ASAP. I will not come back.
