The Brandt guide made it sound like this was the nicest place in town. It was not. We showed up without a reservation. Despite the place seeming to be empty, the woman working there said there were no rooms available, so she put us in a hot, stinky yurt. I normally like yurts, but this one smelled very stale. The shared toilets had no toilet paper and the showers were cramped. Stuff had been left in common areas, like used towels and coffee mugs. About an hour after we got there, the husband came by our yurt and told us we could have a room. But it wasn't ready yet, and when he went upstairs to tell the lady about it, she yelled at him, and he ran out of the hotel. No one told us what was going on, so we ended up leaving and going to the Khan Tengri, which is much nicer.
A great place to stay away from the bustle of the town. The hotel has a real charm and was very clean and tidy. We enjoyed the quiet and restful garden setting. The staff were fantastic and just next door was a cafe for evening meals.
In Naryn there's not much choice and this hotel is ok but could be renovated. I wish I took slippers with me as the floor carpet is old and if you're staying at standard rooms you'll need slippers to use shower and toilets. This hotel has the tiniest baths I've ever seen, not very convenient to take showers.
Very friendly staff. Warm duchar and clean toilets. Good and cheap breakfast. If you bring your own car, you can park here for about 200 som. Then there may also be electricity to the car. Secure parking behind locked gates.
It is indeed awesome that this place exists. Naryn is a place where one would really appreciate staying in a secure place with hot shower and clean rooms. We came here as part of the NarynForTrump campaign and seeking support for the election. We were surprised to see that everyone here was a Bernie Sanders supporter (Naryn is largely a state sponsored town.) Anyways, the rooms are a mixture of very fine chinese furnishing, complete with the finest SUPRA televisions and KINWQQD dvd players. The mix of furnishing is eclectic with styles across the decades. You will not need to bring any styling hair gel because the nylon carpet will do the job for you. If you choose to stay in a yurt, it comes with an indoor shower, but by pure coincidence it only works when it's raining.
In Naryn there is not a lot of choices for places to stay but Celestial Mountains Guest House was ok / not so bad. I would stay that it's not really the most budget place to stay but it's also not so expensive. The rooms were a bit dated and had a feeling from the 70's but over all its ok. The location is ok a bit fair from the center but there is not many choices. The best way to describe the location is to go from Kubat Tour walk across the bridge / river and go up about two blocks and you will see a sign on the left hand side of the road. The rooms are ok there is some choices between private rooms, dorms, and yurts. Over all there is a lot of choices and during the summer season it's very busy. The staff speaks basic English and is somewhat friendly. I would stay another night there again in the future.…
Rooms are confortable, also if someone has shared bathrooms.Dinner and breakfast are simply delicious. It is far from centre and is difficult to move without a car. If possible ask for room nbr 2, the best.
Very nice staff and great breakfast and dinner. Clean rooms. Shared bathrooms and toilets which were clean. Yurts outside which were an option to stay. Not a bad option if you are staying in Naryn. Close to town and there is a shashlik restaurant right next door.
