I stayed here for several nights as part of a large group in September 2014. My room was lovely, hammock on the lanai, comfy bed, large bathroom with all the amenities, but it was all the way at the far end from the lobby/lounge area. I got a lot of exercise walking back and forth, for sure! The food was... More

We stayed at the resort for one night. The place is relatively big and most rooms have views of the rainforest where the birds and bugs can be heard at all times of the day/night. It's very nice to wake up and see the fog covering the mountains. Our room had a balcony with a hammock so it was quite... More

Great location in the rain forest. It is close to many attractions including Embera Indians and butterfly and frog exhibits. Highlight for me was that a sloth rescue organization did a presentation and we were able to have a picture taken with him. The rooms were nice and air conditioned. It was very peaceful there. We saw a capybara and... More

We did not utilize the lodging or restaurants, so cannot comment on those facilities. We spent part of a weekday here during the rainy season, but fortunately, the rain held off. Our goal was to take the boat ride to Monkey Island (cost around USD$35 ea adult). The hotel itself has a very nice all glass wall looking out toward... More

Just rating the bar, I stayed at another place. Went there for a special occasion to enjoy some cocktails and the great view on the river. The cocktails are quite nice, but expensive, especially of you're trying to get... a little more relaxed... We all had 3 different cocktails within about 1.5h, and decided we should fall back to beers... More

Nice property, the grounds are well kept and have a lot of vegetation. It was the slow season so that was reflected in the amount of staff. Service was slow at times and sometimes none existent. A large hotel that doesn't provide a shuttle or on property activities.

This was a great place to see some wildlife. We saw tamarin monkeys and a quati on the way to our rooms. During the boat excursion we saw more monkeys (3 different kinds) & a crocodile. On the free night hotel safari ride our tour guide Rosie shown a spotlight on a sloth and capybara. This hotel had great service... More

Located in the Soberania National Park, overlooking the Chargres River this beautifully appointed hotel has charm, quality and the rooms have great views. The room was well appointed with all the features anyone could want. Be warned, that if you leave your sliding door open, bugs will get in. As always when in the jungle keep the DEET up for... More
