While out for a walk along the beach we decided to have lunch at Waves and it was lovely. Very busy but staff friendly and very efficient. Food was lovely and was well worth the wait. Great place for dog walkers as dogs are welcome and all dogs were well behaved. Will definitely visit again.

Don't know how long they have been running the cafe but it was a nice thing to discover especially as the more established place next door is being rebuilt. Quite cheek by jowl as it s smallish venue but they are really trying hard. Good menu nice staff. The meal was too big but hats hardly a negative. It gets...

What could be a lovely BnB was spoilt by the amount of noise that resounds from other rooms and upstairs. Children running around upstairs until after 11pm, and doors banging. We could hear showers, toilets flushing and and people talking. We went here for a quiet getaway but we could not get to sleep because of the paper thin walls....

The room was lovely and modern with a great wet room bathroom (the bathroom could do with an electric toothbrush charging socket). The location is great right on the seafront and the welcome was lovely and friendly. Unfortunately the two things I hope for from a bed and breakfast is sleep and a nice breakfast...Unfortunately the walls are paper thin...

Spotlessly clean and well presented room, lovely dog friendly people who were most obliging and the bed in room 3 was really comfy. There was a bit of work going on as they developed the planned bar and restaurant, but nothing that would detract you from enjoying the place. The local beach would benefit from having the seaweed cleaned off,...

This B&B has a wonderful location, right on the seafront at Birchington, near the beautiful beach. The owners are very friendly and accommodating and we felt very welcome, along with our JRT Rosie. Our room was smart and spotlessly clean. Bed linen was high quality. The shower was wonderful! The breakfast arrangements are a bit quaint; a voucher for £5.00...

A nice stay- comfortable room- a bit on the small size but the price was very good. They are building/extending for a cafe so at the moment breakfast is at the restaurant over the road( or in the village if you prefer) but that was good. The breakfast voucher covers a £5 breakfast but you will need to top it...

We stayed for 3 nights in the Waves and we hope to come again soon ! Very nice and comfy rooms, warm welcome from Jaine (and her son !) and a perfect location, litteraly by the sea. Good breakfast just accross the road, with a stunning view up to Recolver.
