The Waves is an outstanding B+B! Directly onto the sea front, our room had an air of nautical theme, but without being OTT. Lovely landlady with a great eye for relaxing decor. The restaurant across the road offers fantastic service, and although the accommodation is annexed to the private bungalow, every effort is put towards your privacy. Will be returning to this beautiful bay.

Only stayed one night on the way to the ferry (only about 40 minutes away). What a lovely place. Beach on the doorstep and good parking facilities. We didn't stay for breakfast because of an early ferry to France the next morning so can't comment on that but it brought the price for a night stay down. Dog was made... More

The waves is in an outstanding location, I could sit with the door open and see the sea and the beach. If you like the beach you cant get much better than this! The room was spotless and the bed was comfy with nice fresh soft bedding. Just what we needed after driving over from the Netherlands. The owners were... More

Walls were very thin. No toilet brush in the bathroom. No shampoo/conditioner/shower gel. No blind in the window so everyone can see in unless you draw the curtain and sit in the dark (bit weird as it's still daytime) the phone kept ringing from the owners bungalow. The rooms have been converted from their own home so each room had... More

This is literally right on the beach, very clean and comfortable room, good parking and very friendly owner. Breakfast is the adjacent bar which is excellent. For anyone interested, there's a great 3.5 mile run along the coast, no traffic just dogs and cyclists. Great value for money

From the moment we arrived we had a great time. Jayne and Steve were both very friendly and good fun. Lovely clean and spacious room with your own front door, so no disturbing the family. The Minnis Bar offered good food and very good local beers.

Well appointed room with sea view from the window, and car parking right outside the room. Room compact but with everything that you need and very well finished to a high standard. Virtually right on the sea front, but this means a short drive into the town centre. Pub restaurant almost next door and a very friendly and helpful hostess... More
