Hotel is located close to Rethymno city in friendly place, where you can find many tavernas, shops, car rentals etc. Hotel is divided up to 4 buildings, mostly 2 floor ones. Reception is located in the main building, where is also one underground floor. Rooms located on that floor are overpriced as their quality is not good. Very small bathroom together with WC, which is not suitable for tall people (size of bathroom is approx 1x1.5m). Next (one) room is equipped with large bed with terrible quality. Any light movement on that bed produces loud noise, which disturbs your silent night. If you planned to sleep, you will be unlucky. From balcony, you can touch the car wheels. There are no clothesline available to dry your clothes and unfortunatelly there is no hooks to fit yours one. Sometime you can see cockroaches at corridor, as they are living round the hotel. There are much better rooms in the hotel, if you want to see them, visit the first floor (right from reception), there you will see completelly different quality. As we noticed, the underground floor rooms were rented mostly to travellers from CZ during our stay. As advantage, you will have the room air condition and fridge for free. Rooms are equipped also with TV, but there are mostly the German channels. Food is really good. It makes no sense to take too much of food for a first round as there were all the time full boxes of it. Even 5 minutes before the end of opening hours. Someone can say, that it is the same all the time, but there is really so many things to eat, that you can choose every day different meal. One thing we were missing is the watermelon (the red one). It was not there, but it is not the issue. If you plan to rent a car, check different rental shops, as there are many of them. Our favorite was the one located in front of the ice cream shop located at corner of Kaisareias street. We have been to Crete second time and unfortunatelly we have to say, it was a last time. The beach is not safe, especially for kids, there were plenty of syringes throwed in sand, two of them were seen in the sea too. Those syringes were probably from junkies. Nobody cleans the places. We were witnesses of dialogue of the hotel guests with some hotel guy about this (they asked to clean the place), but nothing happened. It is necessary to say, that syringes were seen also at diferent adjacent beach places (and not only there). This is the reason, why we set the Average rating.

We spent two weeks at the hotel, then returned in late summer because the welcome, comfort and quality were excellent. Comfortable, clean rooms, close to the sea, superior half board with truly exquisite dishes and abundant choice made our holiday very nice. The beach bar is also excellent! (see photo). The staff, from the manager to the waiters, are always present at the service of the customers, they are kind and helpful. Reasonable quality and price. Highly recommended!!!!!

The hotel is nice, very nice people, great food, few steps to the beach, rooms are very clean. the only flaw is that some rooms on the south-east may smell with mouldiness, not because of lack of cleaning, but because of old AC mixed with extreme heat. AC should be cleaned.

Coming here near Rethymno was a very pleasent and nice experience for us despite all Coronavirus threat. Very kind personnel, located near the sea , clean rooms, good food prevention of Covid taken by personnel, decent prices for accommodation and the bar, we recommend this hotel. They have parking places, a market where you can buy everything you may need and they can help you with car rental directly at the airport ( highly recommended on this island). Do not forget to visit Rethymno, Chania and Heraklion. Tip: when you`ll make reservetion, ask for the newly renovated rooms! Goodluck!

This is quite big 3* family hotel. Nice location - directly on the beach. The rooms are clean and good oriented. No noise from the street. The food is good, except the fish. Per 10 days we got fish only 4 times. No see fod. Variety of meets: traditional pork and poultry (including turkey), always beef andometimes lamb. Big choice of vegetables. Soup is traditional, but it was not my favorite. Lots of seasonal fruits (water mellons, mellons). Breakfast might be better. Hard boiled egg was cold. Cofee - disaster. No good coffee atvall. Bring your offee mashine. But... Price and quality ratio is good.

We spent 2 weeks here in August 2018. It is a small hotel, but still good quality. It is located right near the road with a supermarket next to it. There are many taverns, markets and car rentals. Although the road is in the back of the hotel, it is a calm place as the hotel front is beach facing. The room was small but fine, standard, with refrigerator, TV, aircondition, a very small bathroom with shower. No problem, clean and we just slept there. There was also balcony and outside sitting (2 chairs and small table). The lobby is small with free wifi. Main restaurant also not too big but there was always place to seat. Food...good, there were some issues with coffeemaker but the staff solved it quickly. There was always good food, also Greek cousine. However, the German clients were preferred by some of the waiting staff. Pool....right next to the restaurant and bar, there is 1 pool for swimmers and smaller one for small kids. Sunbeds and umbrellas are around the pools. Beach....in front of the hotel with paid umbrellas and sunbeds. Beach is sandy, somewhere with small pebbles. It is clean and very long, good place for walking. There were waves often not suitable for small kids but 20-30m from the shoreline it was fine. In that distance, the water isn't deep so children also can swim safely. There are bigger rocks on the bottom in some places, so be careful. I would like to thanks to receptionist Maria M. as she was very kind and helped with a better room.

Nice and close to the beach. However food was almost always the same and I'm afraid frying was sometimes made on old fat. But people were friendly, and the most joyful person from the whole hotel staff was Manolis. All the best, Manolis!

I'm writing this review as I'm sitting next to the hotel pool. We stayed here as a family and gladly recommend this hotel to other families. The staff are excellent and friendly. The Greek people genuinely love children. Multiple times at the hotel (and around Crete) I have seen the Greek people act fondly and caringly to children. The dinners are excellent. There is a consistent range of delicious salads and cheeses, with a daily rotation of meat dishes. There's always something for children to eat. We've been staying here for two weeks and the main dishes have not repeated. I believe vegetarians, meat eaters and those avoiding gluten will be very happy. There is an excellent value shop attached to the hotel and prices are highly competitive to the nearby markets. The bus stop to Rethymon is right next to the hotel. The localisation is also excellent with hotel bar and pool leading onto the beach. There a few nice bars, cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel bar is also excellent with a beautiful view. The rooms are modest and clean. Our room was equipped with a fridge with a small freezer compartment. This was fantastic for keeping drinking water ice-cold. Powerful showers. Rooms cleaned professionally, daily. We will be sad to leave on Sunday.
