Most of the times pictures don't say a lot of the actual place. But at Bougainvillea it surprised us a lot. It is even more stunning in real life! The staff is amazingly caring and always in for a chat and a laugh. The food is also very good and the view while dining is just breathtaking. Our "budget" apartment is simpel but sufficient if all you need is a bed, a kitchen and a nice bathroom. Ideal for (young) couples. The area is quiet and everything you need to relax is in walking distance (supermarket, ATM, beach, pubs and restaurants). I cannot find myself in any of the complaints in other reviews at all. We are here for three days now and I usually don't write reviews. But this place is definitely worth it. Yannis and staff/family, thank you for the hospitality! If you were in doubt, hopefully this helps you pick this lovely place as your stay. You will not be disappointed.…

After a disastrous meal at another restaurant we were walking back and heard music laughter and cheering coming from here... They were all obviously having a good time... Certainly better than we had been.. So popped in to see what was going on. Greek night in full swing!! We were warmly welcomed even though not eating and had drinks and dessert.. Very friendly staff.. Puddings great.. And we ended up dancing😁

We spent the day chilling at Bougainvillea by prior arrangement after checking out of our villa. We actually ended up having a cooked breakfast, a light lunch, drinks, milkshakes, ice creams and an evening meal during our time here. The prices for all seemed really reasonable. We certainly saved the best until last with our evening meal being the most enjoyable during our stay. It’s such a shame we didn’t know about this restaurant sooner. My husband and I enjoyed the Meze for 2. I was a little unsure what this would entail but when I asked the waiter he spoke about the food with such passion that I was instantly sold and it certainly didn’t disappoint. When the platter was brought to the table with pride, everyone else wished they’d ordered the Meze, although they did also enjoy the various meals they had ordered. I can confirm the Meze is absolutely delicious. A little bit of everything to enjoy... the only downside being that it unfortunately beat us and we didn’t manage to finish it all. Thank you for hosting us for a perfect last day in Zante. I’d definitely recommend dinning here.…

We have visited this apartment hotel on several occasions and this time didn't disappoint. With self catering apartments and a swimming pool and fabulous restaurant onsite it ticks all the boxes. The restaurant is very popular with local tourists as the standard of food is extremely good. Lynda and Yiannis are most welcoming hosts and made our two week stay very enjoyable.

We ate here several times when we were in Agios Sostis in May & again when we were there 3 weeks ago (Oct) Yiannis , his wife & their staff ( sorry can't remember names ) really friendly , the food was always fantastic with excellent service . Will definitely return & would recommend to any friends planning on a trip to Agios Sostis . Thank you .

We ate here 3 times on our trip. Absolutely delicious every time and very good service. The prices are reasonable too. We didn't stay in the hotel but absolutely loved the restaurant. Definitely recommend for (a few) nights out!

This is a review of the restaurant as we ate here but did not stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and courteous. We did not have to wait long for our food and it was cooked perfectly. The menu is extensive but reasonably priced. I can highly recommend to eat here.

I'm reviewing Bougainvillia not as a hotel but as a restaurant as we didn't stay there, but we did eat there on a couple of occasions. This family run establishment serves great food and the service is second to none with the father and son ready to help you with the less well known dishes.

We have just returned from a very nice and relaxing week break in Zakynthos, this hotel suits couples or families who want to escape the madding crowds of Laganas, very clean and recently refurbished rooms with beautiful flowers everywhere you look in the small pool and courtyard area, the quality of food and service is first class, many people we met have been coming back here for years and i can understand why, the small beach is a 10 minute walk away but we liked to use the loungers by the pool and have easy access to tasty lunches and icecreams, absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to relax in a good old fashioned greek style oasis in the sun.
