Aldemar Olympian Village enjoys acclaim for its spacious, clean rooms and well-maintained hotel grounds, with guests frequently commending the inviting atmosphere complemented by live music and beachfront location. While the hotel's multiple pools and dining options are often highlighted, some travelers have called out the all-inclusive package for not meeting expectations due to unexpected charges.
Despite overall praises for friendly staff, guests warn of service inconsistencies and note that rooms could benefit from modern updates and more timely housekeeping.

Hotel's Favorite
We got back from the Aldemar Olympian Village less than a week ago and we have major holiday blues! The hotel is lovely - absolutely huge with plenty to see and do. It's the cleanest hotel we have stayed at in Greece, the employees work so hard to keep it this way. We love Greece and have visited many of the islands so this was our first time on the mainland but we will be back!
The hotel itself is quite secluded with not a lot around it apart from a couple of souvenir, coffee shops and a couple of tavernas just outside the gate. The nearby town is Pyrgos. If you are looking for a resort that has a lot to do it's probably not the place for you. We were quite happy though, we hired a car and visited Olympia which is well worth a visit.
We have 2 young children and the hotel was great for them with a selection of swimming pools, a kids club and a beach right on the doorstep.
The main restaurant Sympossio has such a huge selection of food, especially at breakfast where they do a hot buffet, pastries, breads, cold meats and cheese along with fruit, greek yoghurt etc. we visited the Greek and Italian restaurants which you have to book on the exclusivi app. The food was amazing, especially the Italian where the food was just exceptional.
We would like to say a HUGE thank you to Antonia who cleaned our room every day. She was so friendly and worked so hard. She was always so courteous and made sure it was ok to clean the room and made friends with our kids.
Also a huge shout-out to Dora who runs the kiosk by one of the pools. We miss her! Again Dora was so friendly and made the best iced cappuccino freddo in the hotel. She had 2 days off and we couldn't wait for her to come back! She works so hard and was still friendly even even when the bar was insanely busy. Thank you Dora!!
Thank you to the staff at the Aldemar for everything. We loved our stay and will be back.

It was the first time we chose an all-inclusive style vacation, however we were familiar with the hotel, having attended congresses in the past. Both us and the children had a great experience, not wanting the holidays to end.
The room was spacious and practical although a bit less elegant than one would expect from a 5-star hotel, the pool was big and supervised by a lifeguard and the people at the day bars were always ready to serve.
Food quality was more than good and there were also different restaurant selections. Drinks included in the program were pretty decent, however if you wanted original brands you had to pay extra (this was clarified in advance, of course). For people like us, who do not drink more than one cocktail per day, this is a bit disappointing, however probably the majority of clients focus on quantity rather than quality.
The waterslide was pretty impressive and joyful although a bit aged. The beach is splendid but the area suffers from strong winds most of the time which means you have to be quite fortunate and wake up early to enjoy a swim with your children in a quiet sea.
Underground parking facility was great for our car not to suffer under the sun.
Let's not forget that this summer is shaded by the CoViD-19 threat and the hotel was in partial operation. Protective measures were taken but I guess that everybody (i.e. staff and visitors) was a bit anxious. But we enjoyed the fact that the placed was not full of people.
Last but not least, having to move our baby around with a stroller, we had a hard time trying to locate ramps to move between different levels, especially around the beach. I believe more ramps should be created in the near future to facilitate mobility.
We hope to visit Aldemar again!

We are midway through the second week of our holiday at the Aldemar Olympian Village and are having a lovely holiday. It’s a very well kept resort, with landscaped lawns and lots of lovely flowers. The hotel is right on the beach, which is stunning. The waves are gentle in the morning, slightly stronger in the afternoon but the sea is sandy and shallow, so great for kids. The sunsets in the evening are breathtaking. We are staying in a bungalow with shared pool. It’s an absolute luxury to walk straight out from your room to the pool. For safety reasons I wouldn’t have chosen this option if I had toddlers, but with older kids it’s great. This is a family friendly resort, you can use inflatables in all the pools which they sell in the resort shops. The food is very good, there is enough variety for everyone’s tastes (at every meal there will be pork/chicken/fish/seafood/pasta/salads plus kid friendly options like chips, omelette, burgers). There are (delicious) cakes, ice-cream and fresh fruit for dessert as well as jellies, mousses etc. The only wish I have is that there is more traditional Greek food as this is what we enjoy most when we come to Greece! All the staff are friendly. There is daily room cleaning, including mopping and sweeping so no annoying sand on the floor. We don’t watch the evening entertainment so can’t comment but enjoy going to the Cosy bar for cocktails which are included in the all-inclusive package. To sum up, the Aldemar Olympian is ideal if you want a relaxed, family holiday with everything you need on site and a fantastic clean beach a stone’s throw from your room.

We stayed from 12th-19th June. It was amazing from arrival to departure. We had a family room with garden view, it was adequate for what little time we spent in there. The beds were comfortable and the housekeeping service was reliable. Our toiletries were replenished daily and towels changed frequently.
To say the food is buffet style it really was amazing. The presentation and attention to defail really impressed us. I am gluten free and even though the chef said they could provide gluten free bread and pasta it wasn't necessary as there was so much choice. I never felt deprived or restricted. I especially loved the aubergine dishes. Our children (aged 8 and 5) loved every meal. They provide a little childrens buffet at dinner which made them feel grown up!
The staff were always attentive at meal times ensuring plates were quickly cleared and the food areas were clean and presentable. I suffered from a rash which needed antihistimes, the reception ordered me some from the pharmacy and it arrived the same day.
The sea views are incredible, we watched the sunset over dinner every night.
The pools are clean and plenty of them. The beach is literally a 30 second walk from the main pool so you can alternate whenever you fancy.
The kids club is great. There is a small soft play area, indoor area with lego and toys, a shallow splash pool and a park with swings and a big pirate ship climbing frame. We didn't leave our kids but we would have felt comfortable doing so with the animation team who run it. We relaxed round thr pool area while the kids were entertained by Celia :)
The amination team were outstanding. They were present all through the resort whether facilitating beach sports, pool sports or kids club they were at it for at least 14 hours a day. They made all the children feel welcome and included regardless of nationality.
They worked tilelessly to make guests happy. They did shows several times a week and a childrens disco every night. They always had a smile on their face and really deserve a 5 star review.
We will definitely return :)

We were one of the last clients of the hotel this season. It took us a long thought to decide whether we should go for vacation, but finally we booked and we did not regret.
The resort is huge and there were no crowds of people around. We booked a room with a pool and it was very nicely decorated with direct access to the pool. The breakfasts and dinners were at the main restaurant that has a big verity even for a vegan daughter of mine. But for a change you could book an a la carte. Staff went beyond to satisfy all our requests. Definitely will recommend.

I came here with my family, 2 adults and 2 children (aged 10). We stayed in an apartment with garden view, this was two rooms, separate bathroom and mini kitchen area with fridge and hob. Outside we had our own garden and patio area. The room was basic but really spacious with plenty of storage. After a few days our electric went so we were moved to a room with a shared private pool. The room was similar but the addition of the pool was great. The reception staff were wonderful and really helpful when it came to us changing our rooms.
The location is exceptional, it is right on the beach which is clean, clear and simply stunning. There are hundreds of loungers and when we visited there was so much space to move around. You can hire boats for a fee, we went on the jet ski and the sofa which was pulled by a speed boat. Both were lots of fun. The hotel resort itself is huge so nothing ever felt cramped or overcrowded. There are plenty of pools dotted about and the slide is great.
The food was lovely, and we thoroughly enjoyed eating in the restaurants which overlooked the sea. The fresh fruit is divine, the cherries and strawberries are unreal. The deserts were delicious - I don't normally eat deserts but I couldn't help myself with the ones at the buffet every evening. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all superb. The staff in the restaurants were polite, professional and friendly. My children loved their fist pumps as they arrived and left every day :)
I must give a shout out to the Animation Team - Pink Positive. They really did make our stay very enjoyable. They work really hard to make sure guests have a great time from morning until evening. My family and I enjoyed playing boules on the beach, table tennis, darts, and engaging in the stretches, yoga and pilates. Then in the evening the team worked hard to entertain us with quizzes, shows, discos and games for the children. The shows are brilliant and really funny, and the team in general are really inclusive and positively bonkers (loved them!). I honestly think if they weren't there the holiday wouldn't have been as good.
This is definitely one of my favourite holidays, none of us wanted to leave and are certainly keen to return. The location, staff, food, service and beautiful weather make this a truly great place to come.

We have recently returned from our family holiday and what a holiday. Absolutely no complaints at all, yes there is nothing much outside the complex without travelling by car or taxi but what do you need. It has all what you want and more, numerous restaurants
and Al la carte restaurants, reasonably priced in our opinion, to eat the beautiful food overlooking the sea with magnificent sunsets is gorgeous.
We stayed in a garden bungalow and it was amazing. Views of gardens and overlooking the sea. To wake up every morning to sit on the terrace and listen to the sea is something that stays with you absolutely beautiful.
The beach is beautiful and the sea so clear. You don’t have to fight for sun beds around the pool or on the beach as there are ample.
The staff are amazing, the cleanliness throughout the complex was impeccable. Every single member of staff from first checking in at reception, to guest services, to getting on a golf buggy to take us to our room, to the ladies who cleaned the room, made our beds, changed our towels daily and the restaurant staff who always had a smile for you, welcomed you and looked after you.
There is a team in this hotel, who are amazing and we loved every minute of your company and activities. You are all a true credit to the hotel and the job you do, so here goes and sorry if we have missed anyone, Elena, Katy, Alicja, Anna-Lena, Veronika, Yuri, Timo, Slavo, Vittorio. We loved every minute of the activities during the days and the shows at night. One thing we do think you need is microphones, to be able to do the shows and not have to shout as you do, you are remarkable, maybe this is something that the hotel can look into for you.
And one last mention is to the lovely Adam in the Dolphin Bar, what a guy, friendly and smily and you didn’t even need to say what you wanted as he remembered.
Overall, as you can see by this review we will be returning xx

This hotel is not worth the money, this is for sure not the hotel of five stars.
I stay in the room with the sharing swimming pool and the room was very old and smelled bad. The swimming pool was nice. The food in the restaurant didn’t was so good they didn’t have so much varieties and it was far far away From five star hotel. The service was good and everybody was very polite but still we are paying more than €500 per night I think it’s too much for that kind of accommodation.

We are sorry the room you stayed was not up to your expectations. We wish you have conveyed your requests whilst being at our Resort so we could have had a chance to change he room. Our hotel occupies quite big territory and the restaurants a spread all over it. Some rooms are close to the main restaurant, some others are closer to the beach and it is hard to find a room that would be close to everything. We are glad you liked the swimming pool and the services provided by our staff. We hope to have another chance of welcoming you at our Resort and to turn your opinion around. Kind regards, Tamarova Alina Reputation Manager Aldemar Resorts

We stayed for few days in August 2022, a family with 2 kids. We had a sharing pool room. This was magnificent for the kids. The hotel needs a total renovation. It is an excellent facility with plenty of things for the kids to be occupied (it's like a huge camp) but it is definitely in need of a total renovation. The all inclusive program is useful when you are on holidays with kids but the quality of the food should be improved as well. The beach is perfect, crystal clean water, you can find easily a sunbed, there are watersports, it was perfect. As far as concern the pools, the water was clean but with too much chlorine inside. It was difficult to find a sunbed in the main pool next to the water slide and though there is a sign that it is forbidden to reserve sunbeds, all the residence were leaving their towels... The stairs to climb to the water slide were covered with a plastic carpet which had a bad smell. Part of the wall (colours mainly) were fallen from the humidity. The room was spacious for 4 people but the divan for a 11 years old kid to sleep was uncomfortable. Furthermore the bed sheet were not clean... The bathroom though was renovated and it was excellent. In total, the hotel is perfect to have a lot of days to spend since the kids are plenty and make new friendships and have a numerous things to do, but still a total renovation will highlight its past glory. The nights were totally dedicated to non Greek residents. Not even one night for the Greeks... I would visit again the hotel but in lower prices. But management should definitely consider to total renovate the property so as to keep these prices. A last point to mention, is that the GPS or google maps drives you through some village and small roads through cottages to the opposite side of the main road of the hotel. So for those who visit the hotel by its own car, ask local people how to arrive in the hotel so not to get lost. Receptionist confirm the bad sign of the GPS.

We were guests for the last week of the season and, as a result, the sympossia restaurant was closed. We didn’t have any specific dietary needs so can’t really answer your question, however my impression was that the chefs and servers were very dedicated and would endeavour to meet your dietary requirements.
