We stayed overnight before heading to Paros. For the price we had a huge room, separate room for the children and clean. The pool is lovely, breakfast simple but more than enough, and the staff just lovely. Beds were comfy particularly for my bad back, and we ate at Compass which was superb with a view to die for.

I recently stayed here with a group of friends. Unfortunately during the trip one passed away. When requesting assistance from the management team, they backed down and said only the manager is in charge. The manager is an elderly woman who tends to bully her team. Contrary to human nature and compassion she refused to switch our room and insisted we stayed in the same room. Seeing that our friend died in the room and this was not suppose to be accessed by anyone that was not possible. Arguing back and forth turned out into a shouting match and the manager said she has rooms available but will not change our room. She wanted more money and also refused to give us our money back. The manager runs a soloshow with a team who says yes to everything she says, heartless, rude, and very insulting. I do not recommend this hotel at all

Terrible place. The room looked like it was last decorated in 1970 sonething and probably the last time it was cleaned. The bed was more like a paving slab than a mattress. The bathroom was nore than grim; the shower was a complete waste of time. I've got wetter standing in the rain. The staff were rude and unhelpful to put it midly. The road up to it is like a mountain track. Can not think of one positive thing to say about it. Thank God it was only for one night between transfers. Would not use again.

Hotel Alex is located up on the hills of Tourlos. Guests have a wonderful view over the port of Mykonos. The hotel even provides parking, but only for very small cars (the road up to the hotel is only for drivers with experience and good nerves). The rooms are of regular size, the bathrooms on the small side. However, everything is very neat and clean. The pool are is on top of the hotel and small but friendly. The restaurant is very basic but food is fresh and wines are excellent. Breakfast is a rather simple affair. The staff are very friendly and we can only recommend this place to other travelers.

Fortunately our stay was for only one night, waiting for a connecting flight. Our room was dirty, clumps of hair on the floor, curtains broken and hanging down, the bedside drawer had used dirty makeup remover pads in it, the ceiling in the bathroom was full of mold which is a major health hazard. Didn’t eat in the “restaurant” as the state of the room was a warning. The taxi drivers don’t drive down the driveway, they drop you off at the top of the main road which leaves you to drag your luggage to the hotel.

Upon reading previous tripadvisor reviews I was very apprehensive of my stay at hotel Alex, but I thought I would give it the benefit of the doubt and stay for the price we got it for as it was a lot cheaper than other hotels on the island. On arrival we were greeted by a very frosty welcoming from the man with the mullet and the long fingernail on his pinky finger. We walked to the lift in complete silence and was shown to our room. In fairness the room was not too bad it had good views a good shower and it was quite spacious. Although the air con needs updating and possibly the television could do with modernisation the room was overall satisfactory. The pool was clean, the views were good and it was always quiet with a sun bed free. I would recommend having a good long drink before you go for a swim though because there is no chance of getting a drink near the pool. There also isn’t much chance of getting a drink at the bar as me and my wife sat at the bar for 10 minutes whilst the mullet man had his cigarette and could see us waiting through the window. He then proceeded behind the bar looked us in the eye grabbed himself a bottle of water and then walked off without a care in the world. Not bad for somewhere to sleep and it’s near to the new port and that is where the sea ferry takes you to Mykonos town. Road to the new port is quite dangerous with no footpaths.

They didn't even say hello when we arrived and didn't say goodbye when we were checking out. As we were checking out they was arguing with another person staying here. It just made this whole hotel experience off putting and spending over €400 for a couple of nights is a lot of money when you don't get the services your looking for. Customer service goes along way and leaves people with a good impression. NOT A GOOD IMPRESSION. 👎🏼 Considering the price of the room, I was expecting something better. No Wi-Fi in the room, no bar at the swimming pool, poor breakfast. Never again.

The breakfast was very limited. The beds were probably from the 1950s, the springs digging into your back at night suggested such. Bathroom lights didn't work. It was a decent size. Curtain for the shower wasn't large enough. The water leaked out of the hose of the shower head so water pressure was limited.

A very homey place in Mykonos with wonderful balcony views of the blue sea. Nice and clean rooms. They serve seafood at the restaurant. The restaurant has a sea view. If you are lucky like us, you can enjoy the meal alone and have all the Sea view to yourself. Little cats in the hotel. Nice top roof swimming pool if u are open to hot sun.

For what we payed, the room was tiny, the pool was full of bird poop (although it is quite big), and staff was not friendly. Sad but true. Only good thing is that they kept our luggage for us until our ferry time.
