The warmness and hospitality of this place was exceptional. Alex treated us like family friends. He provided excellent recommendations to suit our vacation style. He also arranged a car rental which was dropped off at the door of the hotel. That was a good thing since one of us was on crutches and going down that tall hill was not a good idea. We did barely manage to climb up by ourselves. We came by ferry and the port is just at the bottom of the hill and only a short walk, but that hill is a 10% grade. If you are fit, you can manage it yourself. No matter how you get up there, you will be rewarded with a fabulous view of the ocean and the port with cruise ships docking day to day. The room was good and had plenty of space. The breakfast was AWESOME with so many choices. We loved trying the local items as well as standard fare like yogurt, fruit and eggs. All of the staff we encountered were kind and friendly. We really liked the location as it was away from the hustle and bustle of the busy town. The views were magnificent at night as well as during the day. The hotel felt like visiting grandma's house. Homey and inviting. We were sad to say goodbye to Alex, he was so genuine, humble and kind. We would love to visit again someday.

Perfect trip in Mykonos thanks to Paradision Hotel, beautiful spot and lovely people. Alex gave us really good advices to fully enjoy the island. We definitely recommend the place, especially during September where the weather is perfect and there are less tourists ! Thank you !! Alexis & Marion

The hotel is situated up a steep hill close to the port. The hill would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The hotel is extremely handy for the ferry port and sea bus. The staff are welcoming and there to answer any questions and recommend restaurants and trips. The hotel provides a buffet breakfast which would cater for most tastes. The rooms in the hotel are traditionally furnished and are kept clean . The pool and rooms have great views and there are snacks and drinks available which are very reasonably priced especially for Mykonos . A good base to explore but away from all the hustle and bustle of the Little Venice area(( but easily accessed by sea bus)

This small and very friendly hotel sits on a very steep 10% gradient hill, not a walk for everyone but well worth the effort, the view is stunning and we loved sitting on the balcony or next to the pool watching the world go by. The hotel is family run and feels like it, Alex is the star of the show, always there to help and offer advice, nothing is too much trouble for him or the staff. Often we had the pool to ourselves which felt very special sat watching the boats come in and out. Below the hotel there are two excellent restaurants we worth a visit. Getting into town is easy and cheap just jump on a sea taxi for €4 return each. A great way to get into town and back. The room was a great size. The only small negatives that would not stop me coming back are, shower head, there is a rain shower which works fine and a shower head that has no area to secure it so it’s just stashed away behind the pipe, needs a repair, and the bath has been repaired but would benefit from replacing. The water takes a while to run hot so start the shower giving a few minutes for it to warm up, or take a cold shower. Breakfast was a mainly continental but had plenty of choice and all very nice, breakfast is sat by the pool overlooking the new port and town, which is lovely. You can also get food and drink from the pool after 1pm, the young lady who works there is really friendly and can’t do enough to make sure your happy. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back

Hotel Paradision is aptly named! A beautiful hotel with a gorgeous pool and view of the harbor. All of the staff are friendly and helpful - and Alex is unquestionably the star of the show. Knowledgeable, unfailingly courteous, charming and very kind, he made our experience one to remember. Ask him anything and if he doesn't know the answer, he'll find out. This place was a real jewel - one we highly recommend and we hope to return to! Also, do not try to book anything on your own. Ask Alex, and he will take care of it in 5 minutes. Make sure to take a transfer to and from the ferry/airport because it is on a steep hill.

We had a lovely weeks stay. Friendly staff, clean, nice pool, decent breakfast. 5 mins walk to the sea bus to get into Mykonos town, and 15 mins walk from agios Stefanos beach. Several local restaurants - so you can choose a quieter break or can easily go into town if you prefer a livelier time. The hill is really quite steep - but taxis can drive up to the door, and without the hill you wouldn’t have the view!

Paradision hotel is based in Tourlos, which overlooks the “New Port” - where all the various intra-island ferries dock. Initial impressions with views of the port were not great. However, there is a water-bus service every 30 mins from there directly to the old port (the centre) of Mykonos Town costing only €2 each way. This meant that we had the convenience of Mykonos town without the noise at night. If the hotel is not your primary destination but you want peace and quiet and a base to explore the island it was a great hotel. It describes itself as 4 star, but I would rate it as a 3 star. The breakfasts were fine (my wife missed the fresh fruit) but the rest of the options were plentiful - coffee, cereal, eggs, bacon, croissants, bread, etc. Alex at reception was a great source of information and is able to organise practically anything for you. The staff are very friendly (the owners were very kind and dropped us as the ferry terminal when we left) and there are two nice restaurants at the bottom of the hill. Speaking of the hill, it is a steep climb up to the hotel ( about 150-200 m) at a 10% gradient. There is a lovely beach about 10 mins walk along the main road - our only gripe (nothing to do with the hotel or staff) was that when we were there there was a very constant wind that made sitting on the beach uncomfortable and sitting at the pool somewhat cool. All in all, we were very pleasantly surprised at the convenience of the hotel and enjoyed our time there.

It really depends on what kind of experience you are looking for on Mykonos... this hotel is at the port, not at the pretty beaches. We stayed here 1 night because our Travel Agency (Exoticca Travel... DO NOT USE THEM... horrible for many reasons), put us here to save themselves money. After 1 night we left, and paid for an affordable pretty newer hotel ON THE BEACH! So we ended up paying twice for two hotels because the Hotel Paradision just wasn't for us The rooms seemed on the bigger side for Europe, there are antiques around the lobby, the staff was friendly, and there is an ocean view. Was kept clean, and had a balcony. The pool area seemed average, but not special. Some downsides were the crazy steep hill the hotel is situated on... I am not embellishing when I say this is probably a 20% grade hill... its just plain dangerous to walk up & down, and I have 2 bad knees... I was taking a huge risk just attempting this terrible walk... NO STAIRS, but there are some grooves in the cement. I found myself walking back & forth making my own switchbacks. And, you MUST walk if you want to catch the boat taxi over to Old Town... The other notable downside was the breakfast... I spent 10 days in Greece all over, and this hotel by far had the most inedible sub-par breakfast out of any of the hotels... really few choices, poor coffee, a lot of not seemingly fresh bread items, some hot items I didn't try. It reminded me of a Motel 6 in the states...

Very basic small hotel. Located 2 miles from Mykonos town so it is a 10 euro ride to town. No shops and only one restaurant nearby. To walk from highway you have to climb a very steep road. Rooms are clean but basic. No bar or restaurant but nice breakfast. WiFi was very spotty. Staff was very helpful. Next time we will stay at a hotel closer to town
