The best feature of this lodge is the location. It is teaming with wildlife during the rainy season. We saw Foxes, Marsh Deers, Tapirs, Raccons, Hyacinth Macaws and more than I can remember. This was a poor lodge. It feels neglected, and I don't understand why the travel company booked us in there. As the only paying guests, plus our guide and drivers, we should have received much better service. I don't blame the staff, they did their best, with no resources. Food was basic, with no choice. Even if a bit simple, the place could be nice but the place is not to recommend. For the price, you would expect that clients could better treated. You must negotiate every day to have an early breakfast (the door of the dining room opens at the best at 7.00 am when the sun has risen an hour before). As...

We stayed there two days and nights while doing a tour in Pantanal. Clean room, excellent food. Fantastic environment to go on horse and boat rides and watch the wildlife there. No phone or internet network, great to break from daily urban life
