A friend and I were visiting Bath for the weekend to celebrate my birthday and booked this hotel. As we arrived she told me she had paid for an upgraded room with a river view as an extra birthday surprise. On arrival we noticed a lady handing back "the hotel hairdryer" to reception( this should have set off alarm bells)....

Very comfortable room there was good car parking, fabulous view from dining room and terrace. The breakfast was excellent, good choice and very good quality, as a bonus you sit overlooking fields and the ancient toll bridge. The restaurant was good and reasonably priced.

The hotel was perfect for location for our wedding party for the bride. Breakfast was decent and the rooms were cosy. Only complaint is that staff really need to communicate with each other (had a few issues with amending rooms from reservations and reception), call their customers before taking payment from a card that has expired and provide full length...

We stayed here on our way home from the South West, we had not visited Bath for many years and friends had stayed here before and said it was OK. The hotel is a bit dated, and we stayed in the "annex", bit like an old motel in the USA. It was clean and tidy but small. We ate in...

Stayed on business. Not my usual hotel when I am working nearby but my usual hotel was booked up so I gave it a try. I have to say I have now found my new place to stay! Rooms big and clean. Food excellent. But it's the service and location that make this one to remember. The water wheel is...

A nice traditional hotel in great surroundings on the river with the weir one side and a working waterwheel on the other, Brilliant. The Hotel manager was friendly and informative about how to get into the centre of Bath. We opted for the scenic boat trip which was lovely. The young Polish chef and bar lady were excellent, tasty food,...

Last week, my wife and I booked in for one night. We were so impressed that we decided to stay for a second night as well. The views from our room were stunning, the river, water meadows and a tree lined skyline. The room had French Windows, so we were able to wander in and out at ease. The breakfast...

I stayed here in 1994 and came back for a nostalgic trip, mainly to look at the water wheel which has a fascination for me as I used to own a watermill in Cornwall. The Old Mill has undergone much refurbishment very definitely for the better. The whole place is shiny and bright and the grassed gardens by the river...

Stayed 3 nights. Staff execellant, view from bedroom overlooking river and beyond made it for us. Yes the water wheel was turning and that is not to everyone's taste but the staff will turn it off if asked. Concerned about those visiting who have a disability as the stairs are very steep and there is no lift. Food is wonderful...

Nice size room, in a nice location, we would of had an amazing view if we were on that side, unfortunately we had a view of the car park. We paid extra for breakfast with our stay which was enjoyable, typical hot English breakfast with cereal as well in a buffet style. Staff were friendly and helpful. Due to our...
