The people at Marina are very diligent and friendly, and we were given a lovely welcome. The room was kept clean and tidy and was well-equipped. The pool is possibly the best in Agios Gordios (even though there are a number of steps to get back up from it), there is a pool bar and it's in a very pretty setting. Enough car parking alongside the apartments. We certainly hope to stay there again, another holiday.

Me and my boyfriend booked this apartment and didn’t have high hopes due to how cheap it was and some negative reviews, but we were on a budget and as long as it was clean we didn’t mind. However, when we arrived we were very pleasantly surprised. The pool has been updated so the photos on here do not do it justice. The sunbeds were all in good condition and got the sun all day, and on one side of the pool there is now cabanas with beanbags/cushioned chairs which are lovely for sitting in the shade. The rooms were a lot nicer than we expected and were spacious and clean. We got clean towels almost everyday and the sheets were changed 3 times within the space of a week. However, marina’s ‘mama’ was a bit rude to us after we got some dirt on the sheets but surely this is to be expected from holiday guests wearing suncream/sweating/walking round barefoot etc and it was nothing a good wash couldn’t remove, but this was only a minor problem. The only other issue in terms of the rooms was they didn’t give us enough toilet roll and we were constantly having to limit how much we used in case we ran out before they replaced it. The steps down to the rooms are a bit of a killer but nothing you shouldn’t be able to handle unless you’re elderly or struggle with mobility or walking. We had a terrace which was beautiful and surrounded by pretty flowers and plants, and the view from the front of our room overlooked the pool and the gorgeous green hills, which I don’t think the photos on here do justice. The only other issue was you are not allowed to drink or eat anything around the pool unless you buy it from the pool bar, not even water. It seems the pool is ran seperately from the rest of the apartments, as it named ‘raris pool’ and is open to the public. The prices of the bar are not cheap (it was around €3 for a bottle of water, when you can buy 6 bottles for €1.40 at the local shop!) and when the barman saw us drinking water he went off on a rant about how he would be arrested if we drank our own water? The pool bar has seats in the water which are lovely and we would be much more inclined to buy drinks and snacks from there if the prices were a bit cheaper and we didn’t feel like we were being ripped off. It’s a 5 minute walk to town and a 10 minute walk to the beach. The beach is lovely, if you buy a drink from any of the bars or restaurants then they give you a sunbed and umbrella all day. The beach is sandy and the sea is really nice, it was rough on the first day we went but after that it was calm. The sun sets over the beach every night and the view is amazing. Most of the restaurants face out over the beach so dinner is always beautiful. There are so many nice restaurants, the food was unreal. Average prices, but the food was 5* quality, we wished we could have stayed longer even if just for the food. We did a day trip to Paleokastritsa, and visited an amazing place called La Grotta, which I highly recommend, you can buy bus tickets from the local shop called GeeBees which is ran by a Greek man and an English lady who are lovely and very helpful. Overall, the location is amazing and the apartments are great for couples, families or anyone on a budget. They’re clean and the pool is really nice. Highly recommend.

I only spent 1 night there with my family only to extend the stay in Agios Gordios which is gorgeous. Marina was available and it was ok, I had a nice welcoming and both ladies are lovely. Rooms a bit outdated, a bit pricey for what you get. Walk back from the beach to the hotel is very very steep. In general there is no massive downside yet I would probably look for something else if I was to go back.

We were with a 8 years old boy and there was no place i the room for another bed. The room is too small, the kithen is also small and the furniture is old. The bathroom is terrible. I do not recommend this place

Hotel room is as expected but nothing fancy. Would of been nice to have been warned of the 54 stairs from the pool to road plus another 18 to the room. Although we ordered breakfast with the room if you want a different type of coffee except filter (too strong) you have to pay extra. If you want eggs cooked other than boiled you have to pay extra. The hotel bar is only open between 12 and 6pm evening meals are by appointment only. One of the reasons we booked this particular hotel was for the jaccuzi but this is not working and apparently never has worked even though it is advertised on the website. The hotel although close to town and the beach, is up a very steep hill, and the beach is innundated with people trying to sell there wares (massage, fruit etc). No room cleaning service on sundays. We have mentioned some of our issues with poolside staff and have been told tell manager who is not in residence. Could be a lovely hotel with a little better service, so far seems dont tell me not my job.
