Grand View is one of the few hotels overlooking the volcano from the caldera cliff with almost no tiresome steps nor downhill or uphill paths to reach the rooms as it is found at the level of a quiet car path. There is private parking right outside the hotel. The Hotel has a large pool with spectacular views of Santorini volcano and the Aegean Sea. We offer a special buffet breakfast every morning with local fresh ingredients and we also operate a pool bar with delicious cocktails during sunset hours!

We stayed at the Grand view hotel last week for 3 nights and had the most incredible stay. We came to Santorini to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday and I literally couldn’t have asked for more.
We stayed in the private pool villa and it was insane and the highlight of our trip we didn’t want to leave the hotel to go and sightsee it was that special. Clean and very spacious the view was to die for and it had everything we needed from lovely toiletries dental kits dressing gowns slippers and a nice little kitchen. The pool and jacuzzi and private outdoor area was just stunning.
I really researched where to stay and was debating between staying somewhere more central like Fira or Oia but honestly I’m so glad we didn’t. The grand view hotel for us was in a perfect location close to the local little authentic town (less than 10 min walk) with lovely restaurants but not horrendously busy like the other towns that were crammed full of people. We watched the sunset one night in Fira and honestly it was better from our hotel.
The staff were all incredible!! From when I booked Chrisoula the manager was amazing answering all of my questions over email and helping me before we even arrived. They were like family. They couldn’t have done more to make it special for us even getting a cake for my husband and booking our tours and transfers. Every day we were greeted with huge smiles and wonderful service. The breakfast was lovely as was the food and the cocktails were delicious.
We booked airport transfers directly with the hotel which was cheaper than a taxi and they had a driver on site who took us where we wanted to go and again this was cheaper we found than getting taxis. €20 to Fira €40 to Oia.
We booked the catamaran cruise through the hotel which was amazing and such great value for money highly recommend also.
I honestly couldn’t recommend this hotel more and without a doubt we will be returning to what i believe is one of the best hotels in Santorini. Thank you grand view hotel for the most amazing trip!!!

If you need to get away, sleep in an incredible room, eat the freshest, lovely breakfast, watch the sun go down from the top of a cliffside caldera, be treated like royalty, swim in a wonderful pool, and slip out of it to enjoy a cool Mythos beer at a shaded table on the pool deck...then this is the place for you. Grandview is well named. The views throughout the day, change from iconic blue waters to golden sunsets. Our family made Grandview our home for four days last week. We came from five different countries, and had a special celebration as the sun set on the caldera. The staff (Alexis, Chrisoula♥️, Babis and Mike) food, and surroundings are incredible. Our Grandview experience was the best we have ever had in Greece. We will be back. Many times.

To celebrate my 50th birthday, my daughter fulfilled my dream: to go to Santorini. I highly recommend Grand View Hotel for its hospitality, benevolence, professionalism, staff and direction. The location of the hotel offers us incredible panoramic views of the crater, and the pinnacle is the tranquility of the hotel. The dining area on the terrace, adjacent to the pool. The room for two people is perfectly arranged. Contemporary and neat decoration. The bed is really nice. The bathroom design is superb, with shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and hand wash included. You will find a hairdryer, a vertical straightening, a coffee maker with pods and sugars. I will return with great pleasure, because the people who work there are really endearing, and also for the setting and location. We are extremely grateful to the Grand View Hotel for making our stay even more wonderful. Laurence & Florence.

My wife and I did a lot of research for our trip to Santorini. From the first email I shared with Chris, the manager, I knew this was our place. Most are drawn to the Oia area but I can tell you Grandview offers all the same amenities without all the tourists on top of you. We still communicate with the staff on Facebook, they are not just staff, they became people we looked forward to every day to interact with. Just so happens it was our anniversary and our first entry into our room were rose petals, wine and a dessert. Amazing. Our days started with their complimentary breakfast, main course changed every day, Manuela was the breakfast chef, so good. Mike greeted us every morning with a smile on his face. He also is the day bartender...order a drunken pineapple, you will love it. Ophelia is one of the chefs, Mike's wife, and she too took such good care of us. Their dinner menu is awesome! Our young lady who cleaned our room, Linda, was always smiling and even thru a language challenge, we looked forward to seeing her every day, so nice. Once Mike would leave, Amelios would take over, another fine young man and so friendly to us. Elias was always smiling and helping. When you are looking for views, friendly people, walking distance to a few restaurants, rental car can be delivered (cash only!) and spectacular views, Grandview will not disappoint!!

We stayed here for 6 days for our wedding which included bride, groom and our family members and it was honestly the best experience ever! I want to provide a detailed review of each area as I couldn’t fault any of it!
Airport pick-up : we were greeted by our taxi driver that we had in 2022 and he instantly remembered us. He found out our room on the way to the hotel for us and made sure our suitcase was delivered to that room within minutes. Upon arrival, we asked to be moved to a room that was next door to my maid of honour for ease on the wedding day and our suitcases were immediately transferred to the other room without any issues or complaints (bare in mind we had 3 big suitcases).
Guest arrival: we were asked if we’d like a water or any refreshments which was lovely after a long journey. We were told about all the rooms that had been booked and we manage to allocate rooms according to what worked best for our guests.
I had been messaging Chrisoula about this in advance and upon start of her working hours, I got a call to our room to ask if she could greet and welcome us which was amazing!!
Rooms: the rooms were amazing! We had a bigger room with an upstairs which was quite hot but they managed to get us a fan in 30 minutes. No request was too big! The cleaners were amazing at helping and tidying our room as we had wedding decor everywhere but they did it in a way where nothing was misplaced. Upon leaving we had lots of rubbish which we tried to leave in a corner and again the cleaner was just very polite and helpful!!
Pool and pool bar: again amazing! We had some guests who come to our bar for lunch and drinks. Given Santorini mostly has bootique small hotels, I thought this would be difficult but communication from bar staff was amazing and they’d always manage expectations around ETA of lunch orders. Pool was amazing and I was worried we’d struggle for sun beds but again this was fine and our guests loved the pool.
Breakfast: breakfast was lovely. There were options of yoghurt, muesli, cereal, honey, toast, cakes, cold meats, toasts, fresh juice, sometimes smoothies etc. On our wedding day, we requested to take breakfast up to the room and this was no problem at all!
Wedding day: Chrisoula was amazing! She helped with taxis to venue even though it was just 5 minutes away! She organised lunch orders to my room to make sure I ate before the wedding started! She also helped with taxis for guests that weren’t even staying at the hotel!

I’m sure I’m missing lots but I honestly cannot thank the staff enough. Everyone was simply amazing and made our wedding the best possible experience ever! I’ll miss everyone and will definitely be back!

Impeccable service! One of the best couple of nights of my life! The view is like no other and the whole vibe of the hotel is peaceful and relaxing! Furthermore, everything you'll need is already provided to you in your room including tour guides and maps of the island, leaving no room for concerns. Staff is always available for any questions and requests and this makes your stay all the more relaxing and care free! The pool and private jacuzzis are always clean as staff can be seen cleaning them almost everyday. I totally recommend this to anyone looking for a place to relax and recharge while also connecting with friends and family!

This is an outstanding hotel by any standards. It has an amazing location and views and is new. The hotel has been obviously designed by people that travel - there is plenty of space for luggage, well placed and an abundance of charging points, minimal steps to many rooms, well placed mirrors, a place to dry your swimming costume and very comfortable beds and pillows. There is a coffee machine and mini bar fridge in the room. The manager acts like an owner - nothing is too much trouble and this permeates the whole staff team who work together to make your stay very memorable for all the right reasons. They look for ways to impress and make your day special. We enjoyed our breakfast, which you can collect on a tray and take to sit by the pool so you never miss an opportunity to enjoy the view. We had two dinners at the hotel, even though there are many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The lure of the sunset views, great cocktails and 'home cooked' quality food was too hard to pass up. The meal portions are very large, so sharing is a great idea. If you are considering staying at this hotel, don't hesitate to book, you will not be disappointed. It is not a large hotel and rooms will be taken quickly. Enjoy every moment of your stay.

It’s a shame I’ve been left with such bitter memories of this hotel because the location is stunning and the room was fantastic, but I’ve never felt so undervalued and disrespected as a guest at a hotel before in my life. I stayed for 2 nights and on both mornings the breakfast service was unacceptably slow. It took 45 minutes to be served on the first morning and 1 hour the second. There is only one member of staff taking orders and on the second morning the waitress berated me for asking her if I could put in an order, after waiting over 30 minutes for her attention and as I watched her serve breakfast immediately to other guests. She told me they are very busy and I was “waiting in line” for my order and offered no apology for overlooking me. When our small pot of coffee was finished we asked for more and waited another 15 minutes but gave up.
The hotel appears to operate some sort of hierarchy system based on what rate you paid for the room, so unless you are one of their higher paying guests, expect to be treated as inferior and low priority.

Superb hotel, lovely jacuzzi room with a sunset view every night. The staff here are amazing, just looked after our every need. The upkeep was of a very high standard, rooms were spotless every day. Really can’t thank Chris and her team enough for ensuring we had a wonderful holiday! Special mention goes to Michael & Ofelia, you must try the Captain America cocktail! Michael knows his stuff, perfectly balanced. Ofelia cooks wonderful traditional dishes from the heart in their restaurant at sundown. Would recommend this place to couples, our view was very grand indeed!

It worth staying here just for the "grand view" which is spectacular! Although our room looked out of the back of the hotel (without THE view), it was spacious, airy and very comfortable and the best shower (pressure and heat) that we experienced during our travels in Greece! The very picturesque village of Megalochori, with it's good selection of restaurants, is within walking distance. However, the excellent quality and quantity served every day at breakfast usually ruled out the need for lunch :)
The only request we have is PLEASE can you add a hand rail to the steep steps up/down from the mezzanine floor where we slept. It is so easy for a bleary eyed person trying to get down to miss their footing when half asleep...

The bar is pretty lovly and has everything you need. The barkeeper, Dina is so handsome and sympatic and she made us very nice coctails. And yes it's allowed to bring your own stuff there. Mostly we shared a bottle of wine together with the manager and barkeeper, somethimes also for free. AMAZING hotel!

The hotel is very accommodative, they will arrange taxis to airport or ferry, holding your luggage until departure time. There really is no issue with using hotel facilities, pool, etc., after checkout. Nice People, Nice Hotel, Grand View.

I stayed at this hotel in May 2018. We found it really easy to catch the public bus to Fira and Oia. €1.80 each way. There is a timetable at the bus stop and the stop is less than 5 minutes down the road - an easy walk. It’s a great place to stay!!

Hi there! It's a small hotel so my room was located just above the Swimming pool. I think mine was the second highest level. Think there's 3 levels only.. but with a good view nevertheless. The balcony will overlook the Swimming pool area, so other hotel guests can still possibly see you. even though hotel was quite full during our stay, it was rather peaceful (small hotel) and quiet. Hope this helps.
