The hotel is definitely not 4 stars, but at most 3 stars. The views from the hotel are beautiful because it is located on a hill, right by the sea. The food was good and varied. Breakfast was always the same, but there was a large selection, such as fried eggs, scrambled eggs, omelette, sausages, ham, cheese, milk, cottage cheese, cereals, jams, vegetables, fruit, cookies, freshly made pancakes, coffee, tea, cocoa , water, juice. There was something different for dinner every day, but usually two types of meat/fish, pasta/rice, a vegetable stew, you can also add a salad, only water to drink, and jelly, cake, cream for dessert. The rooms need renovation - cracked walls, holes in the tiles in the bathroom. Fortunately, the air conditioning worked well. Cleaning took place every day, but it only involved washing the floor, making the bed, washing the toilet and sink. However, the staff was always very nice, smiling and willing to help. Outside the hotel looks very nice, there are two swimming pools for guests, one more sports, the other with heated water. The third pool was available as a spa area for an additional fee. The beach is practically non-existent and there are plenty of sea urchins in the water. There is a bar by the pool where you can order drinks, beer, juices, pizza, pasta, ice cream, etc. No evening attractions, only peace and quiet, no attractions for children either. From the hotel you could take a free bus four times a day to the center of Molyvos, which is very charming.

Recently I had the pleasure of staying at Viva Mare and I can not but express my admiration for the unparalleled service we received throughout our stay. From the first moment of our arrival, the staff welcomed us with warmth and professionalism.
The check-in process was smooth and quick, with staff at the front desk being polite and willing to answer all our queries. They provided us with useful information about the hotel and its facilities, as well as the sights of the area.
During our stay, every member of staff we met was friendly, helpful and professional. From the waiters in the restaurant to the cleaning staff, everyone seemed to enjoy their work and really care about our comfort. We were especially impressed by their willingness to do something more to ensure that we had a great experience.
Breakfast was rich and quality, with a wide variety of options for all tastes. The restaurant staff was always available to help us with a smile, making us start our day in the best way.
Finally, on departure, the staff made sure that everything had gone well during our stay and thanked us very much for choosing their hotel. This detail left us the best impression and we will definitely choose again Viva Mare for our future holidays.
To sum up, the service at Viva Mare was flawless, creating a truly unforgettable stay experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for superior hospitality and excellent guest service.

We had a fantastic time staying at Viva Mare Hotel. The room was spacious with a fantastic sea view from the balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the hotel itself was very pleasant with amazing views and four swimming pools available. Food was also great as there was a variety of options for breakfast and dinner, also fastest wifi I have ever had in a hotel. Highly recommended

We had booked a puppet apartment for 4 people with sea views. Luckily we were only 2 adults, because no one can stay upstairs with very low to the ceiling, and the air conditioning blowing right down on those who have to sleep there. The hotel has a stunning view, and fine pool areas. Breakfast is miserable ( dry bread , often no coffee , juice , salt ) . We got compensation from bravo tours as we almost didn't get cleaned, and missed several times towels and toilet paper. We also went down to a container of garbage..The big man who sits at the reception in the evenings is incompetent and indifferent. When we asked for help with any cleaning towels or the bus that didn't come , he just said “ not my hotel not my problem “ ..The hotel is far away from the city and therefore it is important that the hotel bus runs when you go to the restaurant and do shopping . We won't recommend the hotel, but we are very pleased with bravo tours, who have done everything they could to help.

As soon as we entered the room, at least 10-15 mosquitoes greeted us. They told me at the reception that there was no mosquito repellent and that they could help me tomorrow. The children in the hotel had mosquito bites on their faces. This is probably due to the dirtiness and oldness of the rooms. There is a huge hygiene problem in the hotel. The rooms are damp and the bathroom smells of cigarette smoke. Room equipment and air conditioning are not working properly. Bed sheets and duvet cover are not changed and we cannot sleep because of the bed squeaking. The hotel is incredibly noisy. Because the facility is so big, there is insufficient staff, they cannot keep up with anything. Frankly, they don't try very hard. Coffee sucks, take it with you if that's important to you. The products for breakfast (pastries, buns, etc.) are only brought 2 hours after the breakfast starts, and the plate is only half full. It is definitely not possible to swim from the hotel's beach because there is no beach. There are lots of sea urchins and seaweed. Don't be fooled by the hotel's website because it has nothing to do with it. Those images are the version that is planned to be built in the future, but they say they are waiting because they don't have the money to do it. In short, it was a terrible experience, I definitely do not recommend it.

I have never seen such a bad hotel in my life. It is an absolute disgrace. First of all, it has a very old, worn-out interior and the bed, sheets and pillowcases are not changed. We are sick to our stomach. The hotel does not have a beach, it is not possible to swim in the sea, you can rent a car and go to different bays. Breakfast is good, you won't leave hungry. If you are a coffee lover, take it with you, but there is no heater in the room. Only the double espresso side of the coffee machine works, but you can't drink it, it's that bad. There are very nice pastries and croissants, but the problem is that if breakfast starts at 7:30 in the morning, it's 9:00. They also bring out 5 in a plate, people attack you, but if you're lucky you can get 1, maybe another plate after 1 hour, the same thing. The facility is very big and the staff is very small. Don't let the images on the web mislead you, it is planned to be the version after it was built, not the current version, but I talked to the reception and they don't have a budget for it yet. So in short, do not go to this hotel.

The hotel is in a beautiful location, you can see it was built to be very nice, too bad they are letting it decay. The furniture is very dated and badly maintained. Cleaning is optional... the pools to see them are beautiful, but poorly maintained, I did not use them. Access to the sea is unkept rock with wreckage left on the stones. The rooms are old style, poorly cleaned, with old stains on the padding of the bed, walls and doors, on the other hand in a seventh they were “cleaned” once, after we protested, and another they changed the towels on the ground and left the bed unmade, the towels were old and worn out. The lights work one yes and one no, the bathroom extractor did not work and it was impossible to take a shower, in a very dated bathtub, without dropping water everywhere. It was also difficult to protest because there was never anyone authoritative at the reception, but only children put there just for. Breakfast passable if you arrived by 9:30, when they began to close the “kitchen” area and not to remit the dishes. I mean... to avoid...

Hotel Viva Mare turned out to be a huge disappointment. The room was dirty, with a rusty radiator and a leaking bathtub. Despite the all-inclusive offer, on the first day, we were refused water, being told it was extra. The hotel looked completely different from the pictures, was neglected, and the staff were unfriendly and smoked indoors. The food was low quality; when a dish ran out, it was not replenished, the selection was very small, and the dishes were repetitive. The rooms were poorly soundproofed, and pool towels were unavailable. The bar service was poor, with drinks served in dirty glasses. The sunbeds by the pool were broken, and tiles were falling off the pool, posing a hazard. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Con's: -Yiu need to wait at least 45 mins when you order any food by the pool side. - There are no GF options (bread as basic as it is) available at the breakfast although we are confirmed that there are. - There was no water for shower at all in the room when we came back from the pool. Room phone was not working and I needed to walk down to reception to understand what the problem is. A few more guests were around to seek clarity too. Not long after water issue is fixed) - Our room bathroom was disgusting and far from hygienic look and feel. -Bad sheets were maybe clean but doesn't feel/look like as they don't look like white anymore. -There was no tea and very bad coffee (nor drinkable) at the breakfast. Also you are in the Greek Island and would reasonably expect olives in the breakfast (yes...Mediterraneans eat olive at their breakfast) but there wan none!
Staff were trying to accommodate and polite however they have this limitations and this is a clear sign of a management issue. At the high season in a full hotel current staff is not enough to accommodate demand. Hotel needs clear management reshake and if possible some investment to refurbish. Otherwise great scenery and nice ve weather. But the current state of the hotel is wasted.

Recently stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very nice and can be improved further by refirbishing the rooms. However, the staff let this hotel down. Except for the young man at reception who was attentive and helpful, most of the other staff were not friendly at all. The restaurant in particulsr needs improvement, as there was never enough food at breakfast and the staff lack customer service skills. This hotel has a lot of potentisl but needs some work.
