A very nice address in Praslin, ideally located. Above all, we appreciate the perfect location of this establishment on the magnificent Côte d'or beach, in our opinion, the most beautiful on the island. The beach is immense, the sea is calm and beautiful but at high tide you will no longer be able to move around there because it is limited to a short strip of sand.
The village of Anse Volbert is a 15 to 20 minute walk by the beach (at low tide) or by road.
L'Acajou is located in a well-maintained green setting populated by many birds.
The staff there are very pleasant, smiling and professional with a special mention for Andrew who welcomes us at reception and who gives very good advice.
The pool is large enough for swimming. The Resort has sun loungers and umbrellas around it and on the beach and there is never a shortage of them whatever the time. However, we should think about changing a certain number of deck chairs which have had their day and which are not very comfortable.
During our stay, the clientele was composed exclusively of couples.
The place is quiet and intended for a clientele wishing to rest.
The buffet food is very good and of a satisfying variety without falling into routine. The salads are excellent, the overcooked meats are less so.
The pool bar serves very pleasant light cuisine until late in the afternoon.
The hotel can offer you excursions much cheaper than local tour operators as well as vehicle rentals.
The establishment is perfectly maintained and very clean.
We occupied a room located in the unrenovated building along the road. Although comfortable, a good size and equipped with well-functioning air conditioning, we regretted not being able to change it because the road is busy and noisy.

Small resort with an enviable location, directly on the Côte d'Or. Praslin area in my opinion among the most beautiful, with a very long beach and an almost totally calm sea or with beautiful turquoise reflections.

The structure is made up of several buildings built at different times. The main complex is the older one such as the "garden rooms". The resort simply has a lounge bar near the restaurant area, a beautiful swimming pool and the adjoining bar and restaurant, a very small shop (very limited choice) and a spa area (very small), sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach ( beach towels available to guests). The entire resort is surrounded by tropical vegetation.

Like almost all resorts on Praslin, there is almost no animation or evening entertainment (everyone goes to bed at 10pm).

The rooms (we took the garden view) are large, with a beautiful balcony and equipped with all comforts. Maybe they are a little dated, but I would say that the quality-price ratio is more than good. I don't think it's worth spending more to have rooms that are slightly larger and more modern but essentially located a few meters away. Entire resort is on the beach.

Another strong point is certainly represented by the staff, very very courteous, kind and cheerful.

Perhaps the catering could be improved a little to match a 4 star rating. The variety of dishes offered was very limited between the different days and the quality also did not impress me (total absence of freshly prepared meat or fish, rather than simple fruit for the evening service).

The Wi-Fi was absolutely not positive, it did not cover the entire resort and with a very poor signal.

Beautiful resort , not too big , but ample room and some like ours beach front had great ocean views .
Beach next to the resort that is largely occupied by seniors staying here >
Wifi works well and breakfast spread is good .
Staff attends to issues promptly like when we moved in our room had disfunctional air conditioner which with no fan made us very uncomfortable .
But they organised within an hour gas filling , that ought to have been checked prior to allotting us the room .
Stay thereafter was great with supportive welcoming staff .
With no restaurants and food shacks around one is forced to eat within the resort .
Stock well before you move in as the restaurant prices are exhorbitant to say the least .
Overall stay was good .

our travel agency recommended the Acajou to us and we were completely satisfied.
The hotel is a little - 15 minutes walk - outside of town right on the beautiful sandy beach. It doesn't offer any noisy watercraft, so you can enjoy the peace and quiet on the beach.
The hotel consists of an older part - partly made of wood - and a newer part - made of concrete. We had a room on the 1st floor with a garden view and a large balcony in the "old part". The room was spacious, clean and well equipped, including air conditioning and a refrigerator, and to our delight it had no carpet. Unfortunately it didn't have a mosquito net. But we were able to put up our own without any problem. The breakfast buffet in the main building was very extensive and good, the staff very friendly and helpful. It was only a few meters to the beach and the pool. There are enough loungers and parasols on the beach. It's a bit more crowded at the pool.
The food: We had dinner in the hotel restaurant twice and were surprised each time. The food was sometimes better than in the restaurants in town and cheaper. The drinks were also cheaper than in town. The second time we went, we saved ourselves the walk into town. The pool bar offers a good selection of tasty dishes for lunch. Cocktails and other drinks are also available until 5 p.m. After that, the hotel bar in the main building is open. We particularly recommend the octopus salad at the pool bar and the roasted tomato soup in the restaurant. We really enjoyed both. If you're looking for a quiet, classy hotel without hustle and bustle and exorbitant luxury, the Acajou is the place for you. The only two flaws are the lack of a mosquito net over the bed and the fact that the air conditioning didn't manage to keep the room really cool. But that's due to the construction. The wooden walls and doors mean the room isn't properly sealed and the heat gets in. If you don't want that, take one of the newer rooms. We can't comment on the buffet food on the half board.

We stayed last week at Acajou Resort Hotel and we were very satisfied. My aunt already stayed at Acajou few years ago and recommended it. Perfect location to explore the Island by car or bus. The property is well maintained and very green with lush vegetation. It is located directly on the beach. The sea was a bit rough during our stay but the swimming pool with plenty of space and many beach chairs was a perfect way to relax, too. We stayed in the front part of the resort (yellow buildings which looked more recent) in a superior room which had a large size and was comfortable (from our understanding, standard rooms seem to be in wooden-style buildings which looked older).
The breakfast and dinner buffets were both very good and fresh and we had the opportunity to greet the Cook everyday. The staff was very professional, always smiling and greeting guests and always eager to help for a perfect stay.
On Tuesday, we had the opportunity to attend the General Manager’s party at the pool bar with Seychelles music and a dance show. It was a great way to socialize with other guests in a relaxed atmosphere. During our stay a gifted local musician also played music hits with a Seychelles flavor during dinners.
I highly recommend this hotel. It is a family managed hotel and you can feel the difference !

Comfy bed and well appointed room; bathtub and shower great; private balcony overlooking beach. Powerful but quiet aircon in our room. Mini fridge and safe in room.

Lovely quiet pool with loungers and umbrellas. Stack of fresh beach/pool towels available to just pickup as needed. Food and drinks next to the pool.

Beach access direct from hotel, with loungers as well as showers, Beach itself is fantastic - we went in July and at that time no seaweed, only small waves and great for swimming or messing around in the water. Beach is very long so this section is mostly just hotel guests and so quiet.

We had a problem with airline not transferring bags, and it was so nice when Andrew (font of house) told us he would take care of it -this meant we could just get on with our honeymoon straight away, while he phoned contacts in Doha and helped made sure our bags were waiting for us outside our bedroom door the next day without us having to get involved

Breakfast buffet was fantastic, so many choices and delicious fresh omelets made on request. Evening food was a highlight of our stay, it was absolutely stunning! Served buffet style but everything was fresh and hot, and with a great selection of mains, starters, bread, fruit & deserts, changing each day. We struggled to limit ourselves to two plates with the amount of tasty things to try! Live music too on one of the nights which was really special - we even had a little dance

All the staff throughout were amazing. Special shoutout to Andrew for his help; to Aruna who greeted us every evening with his warm smile and was so attentive at dinner; to Amila who ensured we had wonderful refreshments and snacks by the pool, and especially to the incredible Chef Indika and his kitchen team, who were responsible for the wonderful culinary delights we had the pleasure of experiencing night after night and helped ensure we felt like VIPs throughout our stay

Upon arriving at this beautiful resort we were greeted by Andrew who was very helpful and informative, he showed us to our room which we were very impressed with it had a small kitchen which we only used for the fridges nice bedroom and separate bathroom, the shower was perfect very powerful and hot.

Unfortunately we found the room to be infested with flying insects they were also all over my clothes in the wardrobe plus we had a large lizard that kept appearing I sprayed everywhere and tried to kill as many as possible, later on when we came back after dinner they were still present we went to complain they sent a lady to sweep the floor!!!!!

The next day we spent by the pool and had lunch there all very nice though large portions so we will share in future, we were on B&B so only had one dinner which was buffet style the food never really was hot in the turbines. However freshly cooked eggs fresh fruit bread and pastries-amazing we would come again but check first for the insects

Superb hotel nestled in a magnificent green setting. The beach, on the edge of the hotel, is magnificent.
You will enjoy very comfortable rooms, with perfect equipment and beautiful wooden terraces.
The catering service is impeccable, with a very rich choice at each meal and exemplary kindness from the staff.
A mention for Kuruppu and Aruna for their efficiency and availability at all times… thank you again..!!
The welcome is also of a high standard to make you feel, straight away, in the best conditions.
I highly recommend the place for an idyllic stay in this pearl of the Seychelles.
Thank you all again for these few dreamy days spent in your company..!!

I stayed at this resort for 5 nights in December with a group of friends. I found it very characteristic and cute in an exceptional position on a beautiful and deserted beach where you can take long walks. The hotel has different types of rooms, some of which have been renovated more recently and are more comfortable. Breakfast and dinner are buffet style and are served under a beautiful wooden structure. The staff very kind and helpful

Acajou is situated along the Cote D'Or beach and from mid March onwards, we do not normally have seaweed and visibility is good. Although, the weather can sometimes change.
