Stayed here for 3 nights and really felt at home. Spotlessly clean and really well equipped apartments less than 2 minutes walk from the beach and within walking distance of many restaurants. Staff friendly and attentive. Excellent wifi and large TV. They arranged to have a rental car waiting for us at the ferry. On our last day, as we were booked on the evening ferry, Nora, the manager allowed us to keep the room till 5pm so we could freshen up after a day of exploring. Cannot recommend highly enough. Best value for money we found in 2 weeks in the Seychelles.
Nice place with large well-equipped rooms near the far end of the Anse Volbert beach. Around 15-20 min walk to the restaurants and shops in Anse Volbert itself, or less if the tide is out and you can walk by the beach. There was no one else there when I stayed but staff who were around in the daytime were helpful and friendly
Stayed at Acquario for four nights, which were very pleasant. Location - Excellent; 1 minute walk away from Anse Volbert with a bus stop to boot Room - Well appointed with a large bathroom with two (!) showers (perfect when you get back from the beach / diving) Service - On point and always with a smile. Nora has an answer to all your questions, and can provide an excellent diner as well (300 rupees per person, for instance for fresh grilled fish) All in all a great, affordable option. Extra tip: 1 minute away from Whitetip divers, so if you’re planning on scuba diving, this is a great place to stay.
We spent 3 days with Nora, who was an amazing host! Coming in to praslin we had first planned to go with a tour guide / personal taxi but Nora arranged with a car renting company to come deliver the car to us. The next morning we had our car and explored the island ourselves. So right! The guesthouse is located close to the Cote D'or beack, which is just perfect, and if you ask us that is the best beach of all the beaches on the three island (Mahe, Praslin, La Digue), the sand was like powder! The aparpment was big and way bigger than we had expected. Except for the room itself it was a big shared kitchen an living room but during our visit we had it to ourselves. Fresh bathing towels every day iss also a plus. If we would go back we with visit Nora once again without a doubt.…
A lovely stay at the Aquario! We stayed in a 'standard' room which was actually pretty large and had a big bathroom with a double shower. The shared kitchen was well equipped, every room has it's own fridge so there's plenty of space to store your food. We especially liked the outdoor shower and drying lines, it meant we could sort out all our beach/dive stuff without bringing everything into the room. The location is also excellent, less than a minute's walk to the beach and about 5 minutes to restaurants, supermarkets, boat trips/dive centers, bars, etc. You can get to town along the beach, or via a path through the beach front hotels, avoiding the road (although it's a pretty quiet road anyway). Overall an excellent place to stay, thanks Nora!
