Very nice and clean hotel at close proximity to many beaches and center of village. Only 40 min to Kalamata. The beach in front of the hotel is nice as well but a little rocky. The hotel has underground parking, nice variety for breakfast. The employees are very pleasant and accommodating. We will definitely visit again!

Very nice stay at this small family run hotel. Room was spacious and bedding changed regularly. Owners very helpful and someone friendly always available at the front desk. Restaurant food was good with daily specials but limited menu. Direct access to a mainly private beach with sunloungers and umbrellas supplied free of charge. The beach itself was fairly stoney and a bit tatty but was certainly convenient and adequate for swimming and sunbathing. The underground garage was difficult to manoeuvre and the hotel itself is on the main road on a bend. There is no path to walk along the road and vision driving out is limited. There is room to park opposite the hotel and it was possible to walk into town by a back route which was very steep in both directions. All in all a positive experience other than the unseasonal weather for the first 5 days - torrential rain - which was not the hotel's fault!!

A great hotel and a lovely experience as it was proper Greek not many English the bars and restaurants in the village were good it was lovely having your own beach the hotel service was good food was nice the only thing I think would make it perfect is a proper bar so you’ve got more choices as we always like to start our night with a cocktail which wasn’t available so we never stayed for a drink in the evening which would have been great because the view is beautiful

We stayed in än apartment facing the sea. Just perfect with a veranda close to the restaurant as well as the beach. Crystal-clear water. The service and extra help we needed during our one week stay, was excellent. To give some constructive critique it would be the choice of dishes for dinner. The kitchen is good and might offer a few more dishes to choose from. We would really like to come back! The Swedish family

If you want a holiday with an unspoilt real Greek flavour and right on the beach, then this is probably for you. The location is perfect, on a small shingle beach with warm clear shallow waters for great safe bathing. Although technically a public beach, it is used mainly by the hotel's guests. A really peaceful and relaxing atmosphere here. Petalidi, a working town, has a really nice rustic atmosphere of the real Greece and is only a 20 minute slow walk from the Grekis and a lovely walk back under the stars enhanced by no light pollution. The town has plenty of bars and a handful of extremely good restaurants. The locals are freindly and make you welcome; a safe place to be! The Grekis serves a very nice continental breakfast including hams, cheeses, omelletes, yogurt, hunny and jams. Choice of lunch and evening meals are limited, but are fairly good. Christina and her staff were fantastic and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay, nothing being too much trouble. We had two minor issues with our toilet and shower and they were sorted immediately. Recommend hiring a car to do the round trip of this perninsula via koroni, Methoni, Pilos and back; regret missing ancient Messing, but do that next time. Kalamata worth a visit too with all its chique street bars and interesting museums. The other Grekis guests were mainly Austrian, Swiss and Greek and to be honest made a nice change from all English. Only criticism, if this is one, but their was no music; the cafe/taverna should definitely provide some background music to create more of an atmosphere and ambience. A real gem I would definitely come back here and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting this type of vacation - before the region becomes spoilt like some of the Greek islands.
