We stayed here in the off season and paid by the month. (Feb-May) If you are looking for somewhere long term for a couple of months or more in winter or spring, this is your place. The whole property is an organic garden paradise with fresh eggs produced daily by the free range chickens that live in their cool movable house munching on the grass. You have your pick of fresh produce such as lemons and oranges we well as from the organic vegetables that Maria the owner plants and tends. The ocean is 20 meters away so going to sit by the sea to meditate or for a walk is a daily possibility. You could even do yoga there on the beach as it's 99% of the time deserted. You will have peace and serenity away from crowds. The sounds you hear when you sit outside on either the front or back balcony are the sounds of the waves, birds and the occasional tinkling of sheep and goat bells. If you need some action the town of Paralio Astros and all the restaurants and bars are only a short walk away, or even a bike ride as they have bikes available on the property as well. If you need a peaceful escape for a few weeks this is your place. Call the owners and make a deal, they are more than accommodating. You will be able to do your laundry on site as needed. We had a car and there is ample parking. There is bus service to and from Athens or other nearby towns at the KTEL station in Paralio Astros, a short walk away. There is hiking into the mountains nearby as well. Maria and her son Constantine speak English and possibly other languages but for sure English at a very proficient level. They will strive to help you with anything you need help with. If I could have changed one thing, it would be that some screens be added to the windows and balcony doors so they could be left open to let the breezes come thru without letting in the mozzies. In the whole scheme of things however, this is pretty minor. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, honestly it's so amazing that in today's chaotic world, such nice people still exist and are willing to share so generously with perfect strangers.…
Quiet place and great hostess. Definitely a place to stay if you are in the area. Two room apartments with kitchen, ideal for families . The beach, right across the street. Very helpful and nice owner. Very recommended.
We had an amazing time at Aphrodite's Villa.Nice quality rooms with a great view(20 metres from the sea).Really enjoyable, peaceful place near from the city center .The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly ready to assist.Very nice breakfast. We will come again.
We have been coming to the South of Greece almost every summer for the past seven years. Maria, more than an amazing hostess, is like family by now and we love every aspect of our holidays at the villa. The thing about this place is that it is starting to feel like a second home that we never want to leave when the summer ends. You don't often feel that anymore when you travel, but this villa does feel like a plunge into the local culture and habits, and into an actual pure Greek coastal lifestyle. Walking out barefoot and picking your figs and pomegranates before lazying out at the beach is the sweetest thing in the world. I want to come back already x'D miss you all, see you in September <3
great place, very clean and welcoming amazing view of the sea and very close (about 20 meters from the door) owners were super friendly and helped us with all we needed they invited us for BBQ in the garden and it was amazing with delicious pork that they produce we had to rent a car to get to Nafplio, a bit far but the ride was very beautiful next to the sea over all, great place, welcoming people, awesome sea can't wait to go again!
A super cozy place in front of the beach that welcomed us with open arms. The rooms are immaculately clean and Maria is an amazing host that treated us like family. She took us to the farm to see the animals and taught my wife how to milk a goat and make cheese! An amazing view into the life of the village. The hotel is right on the beach with a perfect view and right across there is a great tavern with the best Greek food I've had outside of home. The beach in front is great if you don't mind light gravel and the waters are crystal clean. We only ahd a chance to stay for a couple of days but next time we'll be staying longer for sure!
