We spent 2 nights here....a charming, welcoming stay. Delicious breakfasts. The town is very small but with some good places for dinner and drinks. Close to Rock of Cashel, Cahir Castle, and Lough Gur Heritage Center....3 must-see Irish treasures. Enjoy.

We were warmly welcomed with tea and cake by Miriam who made sure we had everything we needed. The room was lovely and the beds were very comfortable. We faced the front which had a bit of noise from delivery vehicles in the morning so if that might bother you, you might want to request a room facing the rear.... More

We spent our last 2 nights in Ireland at the Old Bank, and what a lovely way to end our trip! The room was absolutely stunning, and Miriam went out of her way to welcome us. She gave us great recommendations on places to eat and things to see. We left with great memories, and a new friend. Thank you... More

The Old Bank was perfect. Miriam the host was friendly, helpful and a very hard working lady. The room and ensuite were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was healthy and lots of it. Would definitely stay there again. Dora and Dick. Australia

The An Post Ras is an 8 day International Cycle race. On 23rd May 2017 the Ras finished near Limerick (Charliville, Co Cork) and we used the Old Bank Bed and Breakfast for some race officials and teams. Normally for a big event like the Ras we use hotels however we didn't have a great availability in the area so... More

Had the pleasure of staying at The Old Bank, Bruff for 4 nights as a base for researching family history and exploring the West of Ireland. I don't know whether we met Ireland's answer to a famous television personality in the hotel inspection business, as Miriam has the same passion and drive for not only her beautiful Bed and Breakfast,...
