Set amidst scenic beaches and walking trails, Elivi Skiathos receives high marks for its tranquil atmosphere and spotless cleanliness. However, while the picturesque location is a high point for reviewers, some feel the hotel's value doesn't align with its pricing. Rooms are lauded for modern comforts and views, though noise can be an issue. Guests enjoy the amenities, but suggest enhancements to the gym and breakfast service. Opinions on service are mixed, with praise for staff friendliness tempered by reports of slow service at times.

What a fantastic hotel with fantastic staff. The Elivi was everything we wanted in a 5 star hotel that caters for in our particular case, afamily.

The swim up rooms we had were amazing with the standard of cleanliness excellent and the pool was cleaned and vacuumed daily. The room was cleaned daily with new towels and robes replenished by the hard working cleaning team.

The team that work in the Elivi are excellent, and go over and above to make your stay special. As in previous reviews, some of the team are young but are so helpful, friendly and willing to learn to improve.

The staff at the Elivi made our stay and I would like to thank George and his bar team, Zaxos, Michael and Elliana at reception plus of course the whole team including the staff at the beach bars that made our stay so good that we will definitely be coming back.

The food and choice, particularly at breakfast was again 5 star, with plenty of tables and space so it never felt rushed or crowded. Particular thanks to Costas and his smile, Despoina and Angelos who were always attentive.

The management of the Elivi should be proud of the hotel and particularly of their team who can make or break a holiday.

Thanks again all, great hotel, great team and a great holiday!

This is my 2nd visit here. The location is stunning and rooms comfortable with good beda and air con

We stayed in xenia block
This resort has the ability to be so much better than it is with a few improvements.
Breakfast is chaotic. You may eventually get coffee but rarely milk and never a teaspoon so used fork to stir or used tablespoon. Have to often clear own table to make room. The staff work hard so this is not a negative remark against them.

Today I have come to beach at 11am and they have run out of towels! Manager did not care and said 'it happens'. No one offered to help or get one from anywhere else.

They have started renting out sunbeds on koukounaries. We were told from 11 am but all gone by 10am. We had a disabled family member with us who needed a bed and we were told definitelty would get one. More interested in making money than looking after their guests.

I hope management read this and we really planned to come again. Grace beach is now full as koukounaries is full of locals.

It is a beautiful hotel with access to 4 beaches and definitely the best in Skiathos. This is my 11th visit to the island. Location is perfect for access to Mandraki and Elias bay beaches if you fancy a walk or hire a car
In general the staff are lovely and hard working so.please management sort these issues

Our relative in a wheelchair was kindly treated but had to ask for a stool in the shower so if you have accesible room ask. If some maintainence was carried out on to ramp on Grace beach we could have got him on to the beach.

If these issues were sorted we would return

Don’t let the negative reviews put you off, we didn’t and I’m glad! We loved the holiday. This hotel is amazing, location is just perfect with access to 4 beaches and a buggy service. We stayed in Grace area and never waited longer for a buggy than 10 minutes on rare occasions. We really liked big banana beach and Amebelakia beach the most. There were always free sunbeds on Ambelakia beach, if you want a sunbed on big Banana beach you have to get there not later than 11am.
All beaches are open to public, we didn’t see many using Ambelakia beach other than the sunbeds by the bars not owned by the hotel. The sand is so beautiful and sparkly on all the beaches. Both swimming pools are nice, not crowded, few people using them at a time. We loved the view from Grace swimming pool.
Breakfast had good choice of food and never felt rushed to leave even tho it was 11am. Can’t fault the staff, always smiling and polite. I honestly don’t understand some of the negative reviews. Our room was spacious and clean. The view was amazing.
We hope to return to Elivi. Skiathos really is a „bumerang” island.

There are quite a few factors that lets this hotel down and definitely does not put this in a 5 star category.

When we arrived our room was stinking of mould and had black mould in the shower area. When we complained and refused to take the room we were promised that they would clean it and we could have a temp room for one night. We said we wanted a different room which seemed to be a problem until a senior member of the management turned up and made it happen. We got a very nice room for one night and then moved to another room.
The new room was very nice and smelled fantastic for 12 hours. They do have a problem with the drainage in general and the fact that the showers are located within the room and at the back wall where its hard to ventilate.

The staff are young and can be arrogant. About half of them are very nice and helpful and the rest not so much!

We had staff coming into our room without knocking on the door first ( so make sure to lock it) and the cleaning was very bad. We had a large dead bug on our floor for 3 days in a row. Not sure how they missed it because the rest of the floor was covered in water for hours after the cleaning staff had been there.

One day we came back from the beach and discovered that the cleaning staff had broken our very large bathroom sink. A big piece of marble that should have been at the base of it was now dislodged. They just left it like this and we had to ask reception to get maintenance out to fix it.

The hotel and the rooms are quite worn and could use a refurb. I know there was flooding and heavy rain a few weeks before we arrived but the rooms themselves are stained and worn.

The hotel is not 5 star but the prices def are.. Eating or drinking in this hotel is pricey som bring the big wallet. We rarely ate at the hotel as the selection was very poor (might have been because of the end of the season?) There are a few better eating options down the road.

The facilities at the lovely Banana Beach were also not very inspiring with poor expensive food and toilet facilities that were some of the worst I have seen.

When leaving they offered transfer to the airport for 60 Euro when a normal taxi is 30 Euro or less...

On the upside the location is fantastic with lots of great beaches. Breakfast was great. And the island is very nice.

I would come back but not to this hotel!

So I went with my family in June to Elivi and I must say the following…: hotel have a confusing concept, we we’re staying at Nest Suites area, the cleanliness it’s quite on average to poor, the check in at the reception is very poor , they don’t give you any kind of information for the resort, unfortunately even their remarkable salut Kalimera or good afternoon is not present into the communication , most of the employees don’t say hello to the guests even when you went to breakfast. The restaurants during the season from time to time are closed for the private events ?!? So the guests from the hotels can take care on their own , the quantity of portions are out of any standards for 5 star hotel, it’s deliberately obvious point to ordering more kind of portions for bigger check. Mini bar is empty you can get only water in the fridge, the beach big banana is not only for the guests of the hotel, it is in commercial use also, so the guests from the hotel and the people from outside are on the same , there is no private beach area, the little banana is for nudist (there is no information on the web for this at all ….so If you are coming with the kids pls bear on mind there is no walkable distance to supermarket or similarly store. By my opinion hotel categorization is max for 4 star superior, the service is up to 3 star.

I read some reviews before arriving and was pleasantly surprised that the negative reviews were completely incorrect. This hotel is by far in a great location. If you want scenic views and 4 beaches on your doorstep, this is the place! Local restaurants are a short walk away and if you want to venture out to Skiathos town, the bus stop is at the main gate of the hotel. The hotel provides a drop off service to the rooms and main gates which is perfect. Special shout out to our drivers George and George (two Georges) - no problem was too great!

Desk service from George and Pepi was outstanding. In one particular incident, Pepi went out of her way to call the eye clinic and provided clear information with some options if we needed further treatment. All in all… Thank you!

The bar staff Theodore - wonderful chap and very passionate and knowledgeable about his drinks. He made some items that were not even on the menu without any bother.

Head waiter: Sotiris very charming and welcoming chap. Lovely conversation and always gave us the best recommendations! Breakfast overall was delicious with mostly everything we needed. Waitress Manon is lovely and very attentive to the guests too

Eating and drinking at the hotel after breakfast can easily add up… it’s not cheap but the quality is still there. It’s always good to try other local hotspots and venture into town for more options.

You may think is an over indulgent review, but I always think it’s decent to call out great people in a wonderful country who run on tourism.

Room 1203 - the view is just amazing.

Thank hotel Elivi… we’ll be back!

We choose Elivi in Skiathos for the beautiful beach of Small Banana, the official fkk beach of the island. The resort has a fantastic view over the sea and a wonderful structure with modern full comfort rooms and villas. We appreciated the exclusive services of caddy car, the clean beach towels changed daily and available directly at the beach, the fresh mineral water brought every day in the fridge. Will come back for sure!

Just returned from this amazing hotel last week and truthfully i would love to give it 4+ stars. We had a delayed flight and was late landing in Skiathos but we had pre booked the hotel to transfer us to the hotel at a cost of 50 euro's which was well worth it as we were there in 20 mins and the check in was fast and smooth and a lovely cocktail was provided whilst we completed the paperwork . We had also asked the hotel to upgrade us to a sea view room as we were unable to do this through Jet 2 that we had booked through. Not having been here before we were not familiar with the layout off the hotel. After another drink at the bar we loaded ourselves into one of the golf buggies and were taken to our accommodation. To our surprise we had been given an Altitude Suit in the Nest area with our own private pool !!! absolutely beautiful with the amazing view of Evia across the water.
Hugh king size bed , walk in shower, lounge and a table and chairs outside with two very stylish sun beds also provided was white company toiletries. It certainly was approved with my wife as she was celebrating a big birthday.
In the morning we headed to the main hotel known as the Xenia for breakfast, large and varied selection for everyone and this is where i have to knock of the half a star. Everything was cooked perfectly but, luke warm at it's best, sorry but not good enough for a hotel that claims to be 5 star. My only other gripe was that you could order a cappucino if you like but i had finished my breakfast by the time it arrived 45 mins !! . Everything else was superb and i can't praise the staff enough, always working hard and with a smile. We tried out all the beach bars and the food and drink was fantastic, they just need some more staff as the first few days were okay but then on the Saturday the breakfast staff were running around like headless chickens, even in fairness the general manager got stuck in to help, he even took us back to our villa one night, but be warned he drives like Shumacher.
Overall a beautiful hotel, probably the best four beaches at your disposal in Greece, amazing views all around, comfy sunbeds, crystal clear water and it felt like paradise. we are certainly going back next year if they will have us LOL .

The hotel prices are visible , I can not compare price to return , there is no value the paradise situation as nature and overall picture , the beaches ( especially Ampelakia and Banská ) among the best you will ever go , especially when there is not much people .
Rooms very well, breakfast not equivalent to the price. I would say that it was more about quality or preparation than variety , it 's definitely not a breakfast you remember for a long time .
Reception and general services related to staff contact with the customer in the state of trainees. I think that's a 1/5 inch rating of indulgence. Even where there was no possibility of mistake they have confused good mood with professionalism .
There were some significant technical errors (e.g. ac malfunction , extremely worn beach towels , ) easily overcome but keep you in a tension
The last is worse that a wedding was organized in one of his pools , unfortunately near our room ( the total area of the resort is huge ) resulting in quiet after 01:15 am . I consider it a disappointing disrespect to the customer as it was not by mistake, Probably this will not bother future tenants as it does not happen I suppose every SK
So with a little luck you'll enjoy an honest breakfast , a reasonable meal in the restaurant a very very very good room and paradise around . I consider it my obligation when I waste one of the two nights I stayed not to score with more than 3/5 . I think it 's very likely that the poles and fairly have written 5/5 even at high standards , as long as there wasn 't something that wanted management .
YG the extra charge coffee 2.5 e at breakfast at hotel this price is a bit overwhelming (my opinion )

Probably the best hotel in Skiathos. The best impressions start from the time of arrival at the hotel. They welcome you very friendly and with a wellcome drink (cool and delicious) and explain everything in detail about the premises of the hotel and give you a map of the hotel that you will definitely need. Large rooms with unobstructed sea view (minimum at Grace) It has separate space for the WC and separate for the shower. The cleaning is unique and daily. Room service polite and delightful. Transfers within the hotel are made with Baggy coming very quickly and the drivers are all excellent. The food in all restaurants (where you go with an outdoor elevator) delicious and prices normal for 5*. The beach in front of Grace is stunning with sand and is only for hotel guests. Do not be surprised if you see 2 swimmers swimming between you.The sunbeds with thick and clean layer and towels provided by the Beach Bar. The Nest beach is equally beautiful but they also welcome outside visitors. The specific Beach Bar provides everything in food and drink with also polite staff.

Hello there! Elivi, it's a fantastic place to stay ... but the Xenia swimup rooms are far from the beach. There is a common pool for the rooms facing koukounaries beach. I think the best option is the beachfront suites or the Grace suites..,. just a few meters from the beach. I'm not sure about the prices, though.

hi, visiting in July 2024, wondering about the sun beds and umbrellas in the 4 beaches, are they free, does the hotel reserves some for you? of course i don't expect the beaches to be private, just wondering how the hotel handles this. any tips i should know? thank you Katerina ❤️
