With less than 18 hours notice our travel company found us alternative accommodation at Hotel Yannis during the bizarre year of the world pandemic, when most people had their holidays cancelled. We couldn’t have been happier with the change. We were greeted on the first evening with friendliness and this has continued with all staff for the duration of our holiday. The views around the hotel are amazing and the grounds are stunning. Our girls, being teenagers, were given a room for themselves rather than the bunk beds in our shared room, as a gift because the hotel wasn’t full. We had a hotel and pool virtually for ourselves for quite a few days but are pleased to see people starting to return to this fabulous destination. The rooms are clean, spacious and the sea views is amazing ! The hotel staff have done everything possible, in a difficult time, to provide the very best for their guests. We were half board. Food menus have been adapted under the current situation and we enjoyed trying new meals although there was always so much! My only suggestion for the evening meal would be a choice of two options rather than one but I know if a guest asked, the hotel would sort that anyway. Ipsos is a short stroll away and we loved the beach, view, bars and restaurants. Phevos restaurant being one and Tiffany’s bar and Dirty Nellies too, all with friendly staff. We thought our holiday would be lost this year and feel very lucky, despite our initial worries, to have visited Ipsos and Hotel Yannis. We would love to return one day. Thank you to all staff here for making this unusual holiday so special.

Another great stay at this beautiful and tranquil family run hotel. The views are incredible, waking up to sea views is the best way to start the day! The rooms are spotless and they have developed the most beautiful gardens and lawn where you can sit in the shade and relax. It has a hammock with the best view! The pool is so clean with its crystal blue waters. The owners also clearly take great pride in providing a first class breakfast with local ingredients and fresh produce. I genuinely would not hesitate recommending this hotel, you feel welcome from when you arrive until the very last moment. I cannot wait to go back.

Our little heaven in Corfu. Nestled in the stunning hills just north of Corfu Town and with spectacular sea views. We have now been going for a few years and the owners always look for and find ways to make the hotel even more welcoming. The breakfast buffet is delicious with fresh, locally sourced products. The land has been carefully landscaped with the visitors in mind. The hotel is spotless, the rooms have ample space and I would really recommend getting a sea view. It has ample covid measures to make you feel secure. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Despite the pandemic my wife and I have spent 10 days at this hotel with a recommended sea view room. Located some 150 metres from the beach we were close enough, but not too close to the day and evening entertainment along Ipsos beach.

The hotel is located in extensive grounds carefully managed by the family and staff, with a nice pool, sunbeds, umbrellas, a bar serving light snacks and drinks
and excellent views across to Albania and the Greek mainland.

The family thrive on personal attention and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are not big but how long do you spend in there. All room facilities are provided at no extra cost.

Car/scooter hire and local transport can be found closeby, as well as the many restaurants, fast food outlets and bars/cafes at competitive prices.

The shingle beach is narrow with beds and parasols to hire but very popular with tourists. Of course, busy in July and August with many young holidaymakers from Italy so our choice another time would be to visit in June or September, although the hotel had vacancies.

Access to the hotel on foot is via a fairly steep hill so for the not so young improvements in accessibility would be a bonus, although we managed it every evening for 10 days!

This hotel would be our choice again if visiting Corfu.

A lovely hotel in a fantastic location. Everything about this hotel was great, from the location, to the views, to the pool to the breakfast. Marios and his family could not do enough for you. The room was spacious and well equiped and the view from the balcony was beautiful. The pool and gardens are so relaxed with plenty of loungers and brollys.
Breakfast is superb with a choice of cereal, hot food, pastries, salads, youghurts, fruit and cheese and ham. The hot food changed daily and there was always a different greek speciality.
Our flight home was in the evening and the room vacation is 11am. No problem, we could enjoy the pool, bar and gardens for as long as we like, as the hotel have luggage storing and a lovely shower room for you to use.
The hotel unfortunately had suffered through covid and whilst prevoisly put on greek nights and entertainment with the bar open to all hours, now the hotel is run only by the family and the bar shuts at 8pm. however you are only a 5 mins walk to the front strip of Ipsos which is completely full of bars and restaraunts. Some very authentic greek tavernas and a short walk just out of ipsos is a fantastic restaraunt "The Squirrel". but you do need to book. Also look for the family run smaller restarauants. you will receive a very warm welcome and excellent food and wine.
the beach again is only 5 mins walk. It is all pebbles but very thin so only requires a two step walk to the sea which is crystal clear. you do need to walk over pebbles for the first few feet and the water pumps are a good buy but then you can walk out a good way on sand .
Ipsos is a great location for everyone and the hotel yannis is smack bang in the middle of the strip and caters for families and couples.

We stayed at Yannis Hotel for 5 nights. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and we felt welcome right away. The room was a bit of a disappointment, especially the bathroom is very small. Apart from that the shower - with shower curtain - is really small and it's impossible to keep the place dry if you take a shower.
Apart from that the pool, bar and surroundings make up for a lot, it's really nice and properly maintained.
The breakfast is definitely one of the best we've had in our two weeks in Greece.
You can't have dinner at the hotel but the main boulevard is about 5-10min walk from the hotel.

We were booked into this hotel in 2020 and then Covid hit so we had to cancel they were very understanding and refunded all our money so we knew we had to return and were so glad we did.

The hotel is a short 5 minute walk from Ipsos beach and has plenty of parking if you have a car. It is up a slight hill if you have mobility issues but you should be oaky.

Our room was clean and had everthing we needed. If you can get a sea view for great views. The room was also cleaned daily. The Wi FI was strong and worked all over the hotel. The grounds are well kept and the pool area was amazing with plenty of comfotable sun beds and a view over the Ionian sea.

All the staff we met were helpful and friendly. The breakfast is buffet style and had all the usual Greek options and was served from 07.30 to 11.00. They do serve food around the pool in the day but I don't think they serve food in the evenings but don't worry as there are many great restaurants on the Ipsos strip and further away ie Dassia/Corfu Town.

If you are arrring by the number 7 bus just get off at City hall and walk down the road by En El Mar bar and you will find the sign for the hotel in a couple of minutes.

We can highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again when in Ipsos.

i market the general impression with "excellent" not to downgrade the general marked received from other customers.
still, on the first day i received a room with a very bad smell due to a moister wall it has. So the first night was very bad. Next day a was moved with no comments from the guests (i believe they knew from the beginning about the smell) to other room...no compensation received.
the rest of the holiday was excellent to this location, good breakfast, cleaning, environment. the bar was very expensive (ex: mytos 330 ml 4.5 eur) comparing with other bars

We had the best time at Hotel Yannis Corfu when we visited Corfu in June 2022. The location is good and near the beach in Ipsos, and the town itself has nice restaurants along the beach. The room was clean and super nice (with the best view!) and the staff was just amazing all week helping us with anything we needed. With a lovely pool and a beautiful garden, this hotel has a perfect peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast was also a lot more better than expected. It's definitely not the last time we visit Hotel Yannis Corfu :-)

The hotel is lovely, with really nice grounds. It’s surrounded by olive trees and has a nice pool area. There are sunbeds with parasols and some sheltered cabana type sunbeds. You can tell the owners have really put a lot of thought and care in to the whole place. All of the staff are lovely. The breakfast is amazing, with something for everyone. No request is too much, with the staff happy to bring you drinks and food to your sunbed or to your room and happy to arrange taxi’s for you. The hotel is a short walk from the main street but you feel like you’re far away as you don’t hear any noise or traffic and have great sea views.
