Although only a short stay , this is a nice place to stay. Modest accommodation with a very nice outside restaurant and bar across the road from the beach , with a good selection of food and drinks all at excellent prices. The staff in all areas of the hotel are very helpful , particularly Cassie at reception , who is a “Gem” . Well worth staying here.
Well we liked the appartment was big enough and spacious and could see the sea from our balconies. Is very basic but thats all you get in corfu. Had mostly problems with the facilities so we had no tv at all was just an empty space where it used to be. Also wifi didnt work at all neither did air con. When i complained got nowhere not an offer to move us or any other solution. These are basics that any guest will expect. Best wifi was in the cafe downstairs. Beds were made every day and fresh towels i think 3 times in the week. Would stay somewhere else next time but love ipsos!
We love this hotel! Currently staying here and all the staff are super friendly, food is awesome (there is a cafe/restaurant connected) and it’s on the beach front so very local! Cleaner comes every day too! Bus stop right outside which takes ou to Corfu town! Definitely recommend :)
We arrived in Corfu only to find, due to unforseen circumstances (that's putting it politely) that we had no accommodation. We trudged dispondently from apartments that could no longer accommodate us to a bar in the hope of help! The bar owner of Moby Dock turned out to be a real gem. The lady used to work in a travel agents and recommended the Sunrise Apartments. We walked along the strip and we were greeted by Cassie. She was so welcoming. We were at the end of our tether. Cassie did absolutely everything she could to help us including talking to the chemist to organise some prescription medication for me as I had lost my bag back in the UK. She was wonderful. Our apartment was large, clean, and had everything we could have asked for. The outside area was lovely, including the pool which I used most mornings. The hotel location is directly opposite the beach. The main road could be busy but we were situated at the rear of the building with a mountain view which was great. Also we could make a cup of coffee and within a minute be sitting on the beach by the sea. Perfect. Only downside the beach is pebbley. Cassie, the receptionist made our holiday to be honest. She was helpful suggesting places we could visit, as my Corfu guides were in my lost bag in the UK. - and just generally being an extremely kind, helpful and empethetic person. Nothing was too much trouble. The aircon stopped working one night, it was immediately sorted out the following day, we spilt juice in the room and didn't have much to mop it up with, and straight away she went in to sort it properly to stop an ant invasion, took our cases into the room while we sorted out the chemist - she was brilliant - I can't say enough good things about her. We had my 17 year old daughter with us she was delighted with free wi-fi. Also air-con was included. Finding these apartments was like finding light at the end of a tunnel for us. Our holiday was probably the week before the main holiday season started and the resort was very pleasant. I can imagine it would be rather lively, vibrant and full of young people thereafter, but I would imagine a safe environment. A great place.…
Good location in Ypsos but wouldn't go back to either the hotel or Ypsos! Had a fabulous big apartment but that was the only good thing about it. Kitchen ugh! One look and didn't enter in again.Strange smell from bathroom and metal panel on wall was seriously rusty. We are seasoned Travellers in Greece and expect basic and normally quite content but we checked out after one night and changed resort totally.
