Really horrendous, please please don’t go if you’re debating listening to the reviews they are more than fair when everyone speaks of inedible food, disgusting pool area and unsafe conditions. Ruined our holiday and was so awful we went home early which we have never done before, we actually paid over £200 for changed flights. I really feel this hotel should be ashamed to still be advertising and loveholidays have lost our business for promoting them, they are the last agencies doing so.

One of our best holidays we had. Really nice place, friendly staff, very clean. We were renting the car for all week we stayed and it was really great, because this is easiest and cheapest way to visit Corfu. We never had any problems with parking. Always found a spot beside the hotel. Food could be better.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Grand Hotel. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional, from the receptionists, dining and cleaning staff. Room was comfortable, cleaned daily and nice views from the balcony. We enjoyed plane spotting. We were half board and were very happy with wide choice and quality of breakfast food on offer daily. The pool was lovely, relaxing and very clean. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and were very touched when the receptionists delivered a beautiful bouquet of flowers to our room. The views in the area were stunning. It was a convenient bus ride to Corfu town, which we visited a few times and loved. We booked the island bus tour at reception and had a fabulous time, thoroughly recommend it. Great restaurants nearby and in Corfu town. Only complaints would be the quality of the pool towels, they were a bit worn out. The hotel bar could have better selection and lacked atmosphere. Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely return.…

Hotel itself was great very nice staff were very friendly and helpful but the food was abysmal, cold few options and just overall shocking quality make sure you bring some extra money to spend on food anywhere else but the hotel.

The negative reviews we have read about this hotel in our minds, we feel are unjust. We have just had a lovely stay here. Rooms were cleaned everyday and fresh towels. Staff very friendly and helpful, especially the young man at the bar. Food is mainly Mediterranean, which is what you would expect. Food was really nice. you had your staple Mediterranean cuisine, Greek salads etc plus a selection of beef, pork and chicken dishes on different days. Only fault really was it needed to be kept hotter. There is a microwave provided if you want to heat the food up, but we were happy with it, and ate there morning, lunch and evening. The hotel itself is very close to the runway and you get a spectacular display of planes landing and taking off which we enjoyed very much and so did a lot of people staying there and passing tourists. so be prepared for the noise ( this is not a fault) It's not all night or early in the morning. Midnight until 8am there are no planes landing or taking off. There is a bus stop (2a) about 3mins walking which will take you into the Old Town, cost 1 euro 10 cents which you can pay on the bus either card or cash. They run every 20mins and takes approx 15mins to the town. A short walk up towards the taverna there are a couple of mini Marts which have all the essentials you need, plus some restaurants if your not all inclusive. You can access steps to go down to the monastery, and where you can get a boat to Mouse island for 3 euros. Well worth a visit to this lovely little island. There is a little shop on the island which sells souvenirs and drinks. The boat comes and goes , so there is no rush to get back on it. The only criticism we can find is the pool area could do with a bit of a revamp. We never actually used it but many people did with children and appeared quite happy. We’ll where to start Was really apprehensive about going here after reading the reviews. However what a gem all the staff are fantastic very polite and helpful Rooms clean and fresh Clean towels and bedding always available I could go on for hours biging the place up but might get a bit boring. All I can say really is go enjoy the great little hotel for what it is and see for yourself. We will definitely be back. 1 down side please get more than one toaster and more of a selection of hot dishes😁

Hotel clean, breakfast could do with more choices. The real diamonds are the ladies in the reception- Anna and Lenka are very helpful, reliable and always smiling and kind. Very clear information. The view and location is incredible!

As the title says, it's not as bad as some of the reviews suggest. Biggest faults I could say relate to food - could be slightly warmer with a touch more variety, and entertainment - a little evening entertainment could go a long way. Apart from these two points, me and the family had a great time for the price. Corfu town is a stunningly beautiful and historic place to explore - 15 euros for a taxi there and 15 back (buses much cheaper), and there's a lovely little beach with crystal clear water just around the corner from the hotel. You can hop on a boat for one Euro fifty for a quick visit to Mouse Island (a bargain) which is a great vantage point to watch the planes coming and going, as well as providing fantastic panoramic views of Corfu and the mainland. Staff - all wonderfully pleasant and chatty when engaged. As always, the biggest let down were a few (not all by any means) of the (British - it's always the British) patrons, who act loud, obnoxious and just generally quite douchy.…

Room’s are clean, beds super comfy and the staff are fabulous, nothing is too much troublez’ The food does let it down , however it’s not as bad as some other reviews would have you believe! The food could be a warmer with s as little more choice, there are cafes and restaurants nearby if you want to eat something prepared just for you! The thing that lets it’s down the most is the loud, drunken British tourists that think it’s acceptable to swear all day long in restaurant and round pool , in front of children!

We anticipated the holiday to be bad as the reviews we read but we really don’t think they reflect them at all! The staff here are so lovely particularly the restaurant staff who are non stop. The food - OK it wasn’t amazing and a little repetitive but it was nothing to moan about. Me and my partner both fount things we enjoyed every night - if you don’t like the options there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Every day we came back to a spotless room - the cleaners are fab. Also on our last day the reception staff gave us a complimentary late check out as our flight was at 11pm which was amazing. So there are only a few things what we wished were here one they being the night time. There is nothing to do after dinner and everyone just sits in reception drinking. Even if there was some cheap entertainment at night it would have made it! The 2nd and only last thing that needs improvement is the food options in the day - we found ourselves eating out in the day as lunch is 12-2 and their is nothing from them until 7pm (pool side snacks was abit of cut of wraps left on the side). But overall we have had a lovely holiday and cannot complain about anything major - we loved it !…
