Great Greek hotel with fantastic view over to the island of Telendos. Good amenities, reception staff excellent. Pool is great added bonus, sunbeds and great poolside bar with friendly staff. I wish I could say the same for the waitress at breakfast who was so slow and couldn’t use her own initiative to see that crockery and food needed replenishing and tables needed clearing. She wasn’t run off her feet at all, but people were constantly having to request cups, glasses and refills of food. Toast was like rubber having been toasted in the kitchen and left in the dining room for ages! Other than that breakfast was quite adequate. Be aware that if staying in a room facing the road and not the pool, there is a rock bar that plays loud music every night! It is o.k. If you like that kind of music. We used to enjoy our own Metaxas on our balcony with free entertainment! Once you go inside and close the window it is quiet.…

Room was a mountain view room, which was great as it meant that if we wanted we could sit on it in the afternoon. You couldn’t do that with a sea view room,sun too hot. Breakfast basic. Room clean, bathroom good size. Have to use lift to get to pool, then stairs, then more stairs to beach. Great beds on beach, 10Euros for the day,but lots of room around the beds to either follow the shade or sun. Free beds further along the beach but very little space to move. You will have to make a purchase from the beach bar to get free beds. Several beach eateries. Great tavernas and bars just outside the hotel.

Stayed for two nights. Clean but old fashioned rooms and breakfast area. Helpful staff. The beach undernear is very vlean but you need to pay for the sunbeds extra. Very nice location near the local market and restaurants, where you can walk. We had a balcony with great sea view all day and at night. Value for money

My partner Karen and I stayed hete 3 nights, never again, staff rude, pool bar awful young kids running it wasnt asked would you like to order a drink with the covid rules and regs in force. Hired a car nowhere to park, harrased by the locals re parking. Breakfast tastless and no real choice. Same bed sheets used over 3 days. On the last day we could not get near the pool due to locals 32 in the small pool covid central. Dont bother with this hotel its just a glorified travelodge in the UK.

view is good, but they need too fix the room up, and the room where you eat breakfast is also very old. new bar on the pool. the cleaning is not excellente, lot of young people are in the pool but the staff is good

Everything. Location, atmosphere. Breakfast is basic, but enough to our taste. The poolbar is perfect. Staff is friendly - even at the end of a fatiguing season. Friendly smile and kalimera from breakfast till midnight. And the location is perfect. Taverna's in the vicinity range from very good to exquisite. Try Stelios and Maria for fresh fish at lunch. Kokkinides for a nice dinner. WiFi and 4g are stuttering at times. Little to do with the hotel - more with Kalymnos/Greece. But the view on Telendos makes up for that.

We stayed one week for climbing and leisure. We came early in the morning, were offered coffee when waiting, and room was ready for us allready at 10am. Nice, clean room, very nice balcony with beautiful view of the sea and Telendos island. Breakfast included in rate. Not the most advanced, but we had what we needed. Nice pool area, nice pool bar with drinks and different lunch choices, nice beach, very friendly and helpful staff. We had booked the latest ferry from Kalymnos to Kos, and nobody was waiting for our room, so they even offered us to keep the room the whole day, until we left in the evening. Thank you for very nice stay😎🙂

Plaza Hotel is right on the beach down some steps, so may not be the right Hotel if you have mobility issues. The hotel is clean, spacious and basically everything you need for a base. We had a balcony which over looked the pool which was very quiet. A fantastic view of Telendos and great free air conditioning. Regular daily towel change, apart from Sundays, no maid service on Sundays. Beds changed regularly and kept clean. A fridge in our room which was great & a free safe. Although its one of the nicest hotels its not posh by any means. Breakfast was included, again basic but plenty of it, was the same selection every day. The beach outside the hotel is called Massouri Beach and is very long, clean and full of sunbeds and parasols normally payable, but a few places are free if you eat with them. We moved around the beach during our stay and ate a few times at lunch time at the beach section of the hotel, beds still have to be paid for even though youre in the hotel. We only stayed around the hotel pool one day and there were plenty of beds and umbrellas with a lovely clean pool. The only thing I didnt like was that glass was allowed around the pool area.…

Following previous comments regarding the pool it has been completely resurfaced and looks a very professional job with a new filtration system fitted.Staff are very friendly particularly Nicos the pool bar boss and the girls who serve down the beach bar,,we were down there most days enjoying the view to Telendos and our Retsina.We never stayed at the hotel so I can only comment on the pool area.
