We stayed for two nights at the beginning of September. The Cabins are pretty basic. Ours was clean, but a little grimy looking-could probably do with being spruced up a little bit, with new carpets and furnishing. They are very reasonably priced though, in an area where that can be scarce. We arrived early for check-in, which seemed to be...

I would like to thank Bucky, and everyone at The Bake for making this once in a lifetime trip so special. The cabins were great. All of the bartenders that served us THANK U!!!!! To the chefs. I stayed here for 2 nights as a base for visiting Denali National Park and in this regard the location was perfect. I was in cabin #12. The cabin itself was perfect. Clean and tidy and well appointed. The only downside was that this cabin is immediately above the adjacent general store and their aircon/refrigeration plan was immediately below the...

This review is about the cabins. We booked a Classic Cabin. The road to the parking lot is at an extreme incline and is gravel, so, hard to get to. When we did get up there, all the parking spots were taken so we had to go back down and park in the restaurant lot and lug our stuff up...

We stayed in Cabin # 4. When we checked in, we were told this is one of the two best cabins. I would hate to see the others! Outside: There is a short but very steep climb to the cabins. No problem for us but for the old or unfit or someone with a physical condition would struggle. The deck...

The cabin was awful, the noise was terrible - dog barking (despite no pets rule), drunks returning from bar and restaurant, dog mess on the porch. It was damp and cold. We were not allowed to sit where we wanted to in the restaurant. The food was cold, the restaurant less than clean. We stuck it out for 2 nights,...

I had to make plans to visit Denali National Park with short notice. The only lodging I could find was Salmon Bake and Cabins. I was glad I did. These cabins are some of the most reasonable in the Denali area. I stayed in the classic cabins. These have their own bathrooms as opposed to the economy cabins where you...

Don't be tempted to stay here just because it's close to the park and costs less than most places nearby. The curtain rod and drape were on the floor, broken. One of two light fixtures didn't work. I had to ask for soap and shampoo. No services; but they don't tell you that. After three days, I asked why there...

This is more of a hostel like setting. THe cabins are above and behind the restaurant. They are clean, roomy and have heat. Some have ensuite bathrooms, others do not. It is not really a tranquil atmosphere, but the entrance to Denali Park is across the street. A short shuttle ride, or a nice fifteen minute walk. This place is...

All the appetizers were great and the halibut was delicious!! Our server Bucky was fun to talk to and we walked right in and sat down immediately and the service was quick! The decor was also quite interesting and the location was quite unique.
