We loved the lodge, but we had trouble getting our luggage. We understand that there was a problem due to wildfires, but our luggage arrived, but was not delivered. we had to go to the front desk, they said it was there--management had to deliver it because the bell boys had gone home for the day--what the heck--not our fault....

I have during the last month stayed in the above property. It was superb. The rooms were very spacious with all amenities you would expect in a good hotel, Everything was clean and sparkling with two queen size beds and a coffee machine. There was also an iron and ironing board and a very large flat screen TV. Reception were...

This room has a very nice layout, beds and pillows are comfortable, staff is friendly - we are especially impressed with the shuttle service all around the property! After being in 2 other hotels on the last three nights, we are surprised with how it seems that you can hear everyone's toilet flush and every step taken by the folks...

Our room was situated above a river and we enjoyed the restful sound of the water below. The accommodations were basic but comfortable, including the bed. We luckily made a reservation at the lodge restaurant for dinner because it was beyond busy. We enjoyed delicious salmon dinners and my husband had the world's most giant brownie for dessert. The hotel...

We loved this property. So much to see and do with a show, great restaurants, the walking trail above the river, the little shops, etc. Our only negative was the size of the room and that it wasn't air conditioned. The room was small and someone left a half empty soda bottle on the dresser, but it worked okay for...

We stayed at this lodge for two nights after our stay at the Princess Mt. McKinley lodge. Frankly the rooms at Mt. McKinley lodge were a bit nicer than those here but overall this is still a great place to visit and stay. The rooms we were given were in a great location, Bldg J I believe, by a small...

I 'm not sure what's wrong with the cranky pants people who didn't like this place! I guess it is all about managing one's expectations. The fact that this is a WILDERNESS lodge should evoke a feeling about what it would be like. It is like a log cabin, lodge in the woods, rustic and comfortable. Our room was more...

Nice decent rooms. Shuttle buses to take you to the park runs frequently, making it easy to visit the park. Good staging place to go to the park. Internet available with ok speeds. Not very fast download for videos and etc. lots of amenities nearby too. Quiet place too for chilling out.

Let me start this review by saying that I did not WANT to stay here. Our stay at Princess was necessitated by a perfect storm of events, we were tent camping in the park when it started to snow, my husband was coming down with bronchitis, and the phone lines between Talkeetna and Healy got cut, so we could not...

My wife and I visited Denali Princess as part of our Princess cruise / tour. We were told that this facility was the largest hotel in Alaska. While the scenery was beautiful, and the main lodge was well kept and very efficient, we found our room not as well kept, nor was that of our traveling companions. We were in...
