If you want a wonderful change from the overpriced standard hotel rooms and commercialization of the park, you must stay here. We loved staying at Marianne and Fritz's home for 3 nights as we toured Denali NP. (It was just 10 miles down the Parks Hywy from the park entrance.) Everything about our stay was perfect, from meeting this extremely nice couple to Marianne's delicious breakfasts and packed lunches to the beautiful and convenient location. They helped us make some touring decisions ahead of time and recommended 229 Parks restaurant for dinner, which ate at twice! Our family had both rooms and we enjoyed relaxing in the common sitting area. The "front country" hotels could never hold a candle to this place! Loved it.

Stayed 2 nights. Maryanne was most accommodating and attentive. She provided wonderful advice on restaurants, hikes, travel, activities, etc. Breakfast was on our schedule. She served freshly baked lemon bread, a nice cheese and fruit tray, fresh juices, homemade yogurt, granola, and made us eggs with deer sausage. The woods setting with mountain views was perfect. This is a great place to stay!!

We met my son and daughter in law and their 2 children at Deneki Lakes so we could spend some time together in Denali. They have a B&B over their house with 2 rooms and a living area and kitchen. It couldn't have been a better set up for us. It was like we had our own place. She let us use some space in the refrigerator and we had the whole place to ourselves. It was probably one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed and we've been to some nice places. Marianne was our hostess and she was great. Every morning she came up and was so quiet we didn't even know she was there if we didn't see her. She always left some homemade cookies or cake for us and made us a wonderful breakfast every morning before we left. I was sick so the third day I stayed in and she said I could

Marianne was a pleasure. Very quiet and relaxing after a long day in Denali park. B&B is about 10 minutes from the park. Breakfasts were varied and excellent! We stayed in queen bed room, but there also is a room with two twins. Take a walk on their well marked trail staring at the lumber pile. It goes past three lakes and takes 30 minutes round trip. Ask Marianne how she ended up in Denali.
