Nestled in a tranquil yet vibrant location, NEMA Design Hotel & Spa is a haven of serenity with easy access to town life, earning praise for its prime position. Guests are charmed by the exceptional service, noting the staff's dedication, although peak times may lead to some waits. The hotel's amenities, which include meticulously clean spaces and a pool with standout service, are celebrated despite some limitations in all-inclusive offerings and room lighting.
The atmosphere is admired for its stylish tranquility, and while the rooms are generally lauded for their cleanliness and comfort, a few travelers have pointed out that room size and upkeep could be improved. The cleanliness across the hotel is consistently commended, with a particular nod to the diligent housekeeping. Opinions on value vary, with guests appreciating the quality of room features and beverages but occasionally taking issue with additional fees and the clarity of all-inclusive packages.

Detailed Reviews
We are having a lovely stay at Elysium Boutique Hotel, the place is amazing and the staff is extraordinarily nice and helpful.
We booked the All Inclusive and are not disappointed, plenty of very tasty food and yummy drinks, plus the foods are served at the table just like in a restaurant, so as to minimize risks with the covid situation. The All Inclusive menu is buffet based but still has plenty of dishes to chose from, we always had options to our taste. Again shout out to the waiters who are working hard and still finding time for jokes and friendly talks.
Pool is nice and big, comfy sun beds with drinks service, their private beach with free sun beds is very close and the sea is refreshing especially in the morning!
Our room has everything we need, we booked the regular kind without personal pool but still got a pretty big terrace with some bean bags to chill on, cleaning happens every morning while we are sunbathing by the common pool and admiring the blue of the sea in the distance.
At the beach bar they have live music in some of the evenings for entertainment.
All in all, we are feeling well taken care of and safe at Elysium Boutique, and didn’t feel the need to leave the premises for more than just an evening walk. Definitely recommend this place especially for 2020 and we appreciate the staff’s efforts to make tourists feel great here despite the economic blow to the hotels caused by the pandemic.

You get what you pay for which is a 5* adults only hotel with the facilities and hospitality to match. From the moment we arrived and greeted, cases taken from concierge, check in whilst seated with a cleansing cloth and a shot of local liquor to the cleanliness of the rooms to the comfort of the sun loungers. Can not fault this hotel and I’ve stayed in many 5* in my time. The food and drinks were exceptional and this was always matched by friendly and smiling waiters and staff - in the end we felt like they were old friends. Little touches like the offer of free watermelon and pizza by the poolside sets this hotel apart.
Food in the main hotel was plentiful and yummy and bliss bar equally wonderful and very well priced.
We only stayed bed and breakfast so had the chance to sample some local restaurants which were all amazing too.
We loved this hotel and will be back next year. Thank you so much Elysium for the most wonderful holiday ❤️

We spent in the hotel amazing two weeks of our vacation in the room 3304.
The place is really modern, designed boutique hotel. All space is regularly cleaned including the pool area, sunbeds, etc.
The hotel sandy beach is in front of the hotel and you can use there sunbrellas and sunbeds.
There were implemented special rules due to Covid-19 in restaurant. Breakfast and also dinner were served and you can choose from menu whatever you want. You need to book a table for extact time, but it was not disturbing for us at all. Cousine is great and all food really delicious.
The best added value of the hotel is it´s staff. All empIoyees are extremly friendly, helpful and nice. I have to mention especially two waiters - Rasti and Nikolaos, and “beachboy” Michaelis, who were even warmer and open to talk and made our stay really unforgettable.
We had really nice surprise when we found amazing birthday cake as birthday’ s present at our room! Thank you again to the hotel for this! :-)
We noticed only one opportunity for complete perfection for us. We slightly miss more “greeck atmosphere”. There was nice musis in the restaurant, at the pool area and also in the bar, but we could not hear any typical greeck music at all. Also the delicious cousine is more international than greek and we miss more greek food because we really like it.
Nevertheless, we spent there amazing holiday and definitely recommend the hotel for unforgettable holiday.

I stayed here for 3 days on our arrival we was given complimentary drinks as we arrived earlier than the check in time. 5/5
We stayed in a room with a independent pool which was lovely however the pool is not heated so we didn’t use it much and when we did it was a struggle to get into the water as it was very cold. I’d maybe recommend the rooms with a jacuzzi, if the pool was heated or normal temperature it’d be perfect. 4/5
We also was given a voucher for free 15mins at the spa however we wasn’t told we’d have to book this in the 1/2nd days of our stay. So we wasn’t able to that. 1/5
We also had half-board we only ate once at the hotel for dinner which was Really nice! The other nights my partner and I weren’t to keen about the food on the menu(that might just be our preference) so we often ate out. I’d recommend the hotel’s restaurant and bar at the front of the hotel, restaurant 59 in hersonissos and palm beach club 3/5
We also book excursions during our stay which was easily done, very informative and we had a lovely time on our excursion. We also hired a car from a nice man around the corner of the hotel which made it easier to do what we wanted. I’d highly recommend getting a car! 5/5
We also had a late flight back so we was able to use all hotel facilities until it was time to leave which was helpful. 5/5
Overall it was a really nice stay the staff were amazing and very friendly we was also given a gift from the hotel on our last day. My suggestions for improvement would be the pools should be heated or normal temperature as many people send extra for that element.

Dear SKMTRAVELS97, Thank you very much for taking the time to write your comments on trip advisor! Your comments help us become better and offer the best services to our guests. Pool heating service is a process that the technical service needs to know about the day before and maybe that is why it did not take place ,we hope to have the honor to welcome you back to our hotel and act accordingly. The same goes for the 15 minute free massage that we offer to all the guests of our hotel Thank you very much for your kind words regarding the excursions and the information provided by the concierge department,as well as for the provision of late check out . The staff of our hotel always tries for each of our guests to create an overall experience and to be satisfied during their vacation. It will be our pleasure and honor to welcome you again in the near future. Best regards, Nancy Kokotou Elysium Boutique Hotel

I don't often write reviews but after reading the latest entry regarding the Elysium I feel compelled to bring some balance because I'd hate that to be the last review I read prior to holidaying here.
My partner and I have just returned and we had exactly the kind of chill out, relaxing trip we desired. The whole complex operates at a really relaxed pace and the staff really try to assist in any way.
There were of course some minor negatives.
I could hear noisy guests returning to their rooms at night but I don't think you can blame management or wall thickness for inconsiderate people.
The main course could be a bit hit and miss where the kitchen were trying a bit too hard to be 'boutique' as opposed to basic Greek taverna fare. It's tough for an A/I at present though so everything was menu based as opposed to buffet style.
Let's be totally realistic here though, if you have genuine concerns regarding your health and the threat of Covaid 19 you need to ask yourself is foreign travel a good option at present.
The air con and TV were out for two days of our trip which was inconvenient but this is Greece remember and there is occasional power cuts plus engineers must be doubly hard to obtain in the current crisis.
Me personally I've hardly had a day off throughout coronavirus and I had exactly what I needed, a massive chill out with a cocktail in my hand.
To finish I can't believe people are criticising the cleanliness of Elysium it is immaculate throughout, the staff are exceptionally friendly without impeding on your stay and the manager George was very accommodating and keen to create a wonderful stay.
Don't let other reviews put you off, it's a Greece five star, have realistic expectations and chill out like we did in a smart, quiet hotel with a beach literally on your doorstep!!

We were lucky enough to stay in one of the design rooms with independent pool which we really enjoyed, and the rooms were spotless. However these rooms are slightly let down by the lack of sun and being overlooked by the 2nd floor, in our opinion they have tried to put too many swim up rooms which for the money you do expect privacy and sun for most of the day. However the room is still really lovely and kept very well, towels were lovely and soft too.
We agree with some of the reviews on it falling short of being a true five star hotel, but it is still a lovely hotel and we enjoyed our stay. It’s small details that didn’t give it the five star feel, from needing to take your own luggage and not having the complimentary water consistently topped up. Breakfast was amazing and it was always so well presented, and particularly the breakfast staff were so attentive and efficient you really couldn’t ask for more. However we found the bliss bar completely different, lovely location, views with great cocktails and the staff are really friendly but the service was so slow. Again it didn’t have the 5 star service feel it was too relaxed and at lunch times drinks by the pool were prioritised, we felt there was a lack of staff to really deliver the service you would expect. The music also really needs to be looked at it is completely outdated for how modern the hotel is trying to be, it didn’t create a good vibe especially in the evenings.
The hotel was spotless and the grounds all well maintained, so as we say we would recommend this hotel but it is more on the 4 star side than the 5 star in our opinion.
The location is good in a small village town Analipsi which has a number of nice restaurants and bars but it is limited outside of that, we went into Hersonissos a number of times for a better selection and atmosphere.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking time to review our property. We are happy to read that you truly enjoyed our design room with the independed pool. Given the fact that we only offer one room with complete privancy which is our Premier Suite, the rest of our pool rooms provide a descent privacy either with wooden elements or dense gardens and trees. Our guests love the fact that our only 83 rooms and suites are located on a spacious property . Again, we are happy to read that you were very pleased with our cuisine and our lovely staff. We hope to welcome you back in the future. Sincerely, Chrisa Guest Experience Team Elysium Boutique Hotel

I stayed for 2 weeks as a working holiday, just perfect. My goals of coming out here were to work from my remote job, detox a little and relax.
There were a number of suitable spots around the hotel to work from, wifi great everywhere. Furthermore, there were rooms near the fitness centre where I could conduct calls etc without being disturbed or infringing on someone else's holiday.
I used the fitness room daily, always clean, everything worked, the equipment, water station, TVs. Opportunity for different kinds of workouts, whether you want to lift weights, do cardio or core/yoga exercises (they also had specific yoga classes too I noticed).
I stayed half board and always looked forward to breakfast and dinner. The food in my opinion exceptional, a sentiment I'm sure shared by all the guests, something to suit everyone, and lots of traditional Crete appetizers and entrees to enjoy. The kitchen staff and front of house could not do enough for you and in all of my 100's if not 1000's of hotel stays I do not believe I have been on the end of such friendly helpful and personal service. The wider staff were equally as nice, those who cleaned rooms and general areas, those who worked on reception, the bar areas, not even of a nuance of a bad experience.
The rooms are very nice, all you could want, the main thing I will remember from this spot is the large glass fronted balcony. Never have I spent so much time on a balcony!
The location is pretty good, the beach immediately in front of the hotel isn't breathtaking, a little rustic and doesn't really invite you in, but walks along the promenade and to be beside the Aegean was still pleasant. There is a town centre 5 minutes walk away with a whole host of small tavernas, coffee shops, bars and grocery stores, though note that a lot of these start to close early November because the season is almost through.
My only gripe about the trip is not with the hotel itself but that it is quite noisy when you're in your room. You have to close the doors by pulling them slowly shut until you hear a click, apparently a lot of people failed to grasp this simple concept and were just outside their doors slamming and slamming until the cows were coming home. However, don't let this put you off booking, it's a straw clutcher and something that could easily be addressed by the reception when they show people to their room (which they do).
I'm considering booking for next year for 2-3 weeks, another working retreat to avoid the cold of the UK!

On arrival we were disappointed with the location as surrounding area is underdeveloped. The all inclusive package is restricted, limited to 2 bottles of water per room per day and the cocktail menu is very small.
The only other issues we've had have been the shower leaks down the edge of the shower screen where it joins to the wall and puddles across the bathroom floor, the cleaners didn't replace the flannels and the 2 bottles of water didn't always get replaced by room service.
There are many positives to mention at the hotel which is lovely and relaxing as it is adult only with a good mix of ages who visit here. The sun beds and big day beds are all very comfortable, fresh towels are always provided, and they always have music playing around the pool. The staff are very friendly and always want to do everything they can for you. A special mention to Nikos who is mostly pool side, extremely attentive, remembered us with room number and sometimes drinks orders.
The all inclusive buffet food was nice most of the time with some good options with only a few days where there was not as good of a variety.
The bliss bar and restaurant where you can still order the all inclusive drinks is very relaxing to be in and on a few nights they had a singer there to entertain. The food at the restaurant is at an extra cost with 20% off for elysium guests. We had pool side snack food served to us from here of high quality and good service. We also had 1 evening meal here, we had beef tagalata which was delicious and we would recommend it to anyone.
Thank you relaxing holiday

Dear David & Charlotte, Thank you so much for your review. We could not be more grateful for all the perfect comments about the sense of peace that we gave to you. We are happy to ready that you enjoyed our cuisine especially at our award-winning Bliss Bar & Restaurant. However, we are sorry to hear that our 10 internationally known coctails of the All Inclusive menu did not meet with your expectations. We truly hope to give us the opportunity to improve any service that was not of the high quality that we aspire to offer to our guests! Sincerely, Chrisa Guest Experience Team Elysium Boutique Hotel

Well what can I say… this hotel and staff goes above and beyond for their guests. Nothing is too much for them and they are always asking how you are and if you need anything. The waiter around the pool works all day everyday and will check in with you bringing you whatever you want.
The lady on the reception (Sia) was very welcoming and delivered a bottle of fizz with a hand written note (lovely touch).
The all inclusive was just great for choice plenty to have and we were able to choose different everyday with an excellent choice and presentation on the desserts!!
Harry the bar man was always busy but very welcoming making us laugh the first night we arrived late.
The independent room with private pool is a must (room is slightly smaller than expected but not a problem). The pools can be a bit chilly but it is late September. Lots of choice in the minibar and restocked daily. Cleaners work tirelessly around the hotel and clean the room daily. Reception are always very clean and tidy smelling beautiful!
Location is ideal with it being a short taxi ride away from the main town of Hersonissos which has got some great little bars especially on beach road, Mexican bar and shenanigans a good choice. Also Treff on the main road have excellent friendly staff particularly Manos!
We have had the most amazing time here at the Elysium and would 100% recommend to anyone wanting a luxury laid back holiday (with the added bonus of adults only)!! Thank you so much to the wonderful helpful staff for making it our best holiday away as a couple yet

We stayed for 14 nights at this modern hotel on the beach front of Analipsi, Crete. The hotel in the first week had a few issues with the chef and kitchen staff, whom to be fair were promptly replaced. The food quality improved to what you would expect from a 5 star hotel.
The staff here really do make the whole experience one to remember. We have stayed in many top resorts and never received such wonderful service from a extremely friendly staff. They all work long hours and never seem to have time off! Yet they remain professional and welcoming morning and night.
I'll name some of those that went above and beyond, Nancy, Manos, Anna (hotel services & management), Rasti, Gina and the food & beverage manager, Thomas & Giannis from the Bliss bar were fabulous.
Thomas & Giannis (John) treated us like family we got to them very well built up good rapour they got to know what drinks we liked, although we kept them on their toes by changing drinks most nights.
There were a few niggling issues, the staff are so busy that your food order might not always be what you receive to eat. It can be difficult to get a second drink with your meal in the main restaurant(not at bliss).
We had a room with a small private pool which we enjoyed most of the time, however, we did have complete nudists in the room next door, which was slightly embarrassing.
There was excellent entertainment in the bliss bar/restaurant on most nights, this was a pleasant surprise, considering the hotel is only small (66 rooms).
The hotel complex and rooms were spotlessly clean, and all staff were following Covid-19 guidelines. We wish you all well in this extremely difficult time.

Hi, They produce bills for every order, only difference is you would have a value printed. You can charge it to your room or you can pay by card for each transaction.
Hello i wasnt in the masisonette room i stayed in the elegance room and we had a wardrobe
Yes, large grey towels certainly for swimming pool. We didn't use private beach facilities but walking along the front it looked best by far.
You can easily use any shoes you like there. Very casual.
Make sure when you check in that you get a quiet room. Very noisy if you get a room close to someone who has their own private pool. I had severe disco music every night next to me.
