Just got back from the best holiday we've ever had at Stella village! Everything about this place was unbelievable, all staff, food, rooms(spotless) entertainment a huge thank you! We'll be returning soon🍻☀️🌴 We met some amazing people, Doesn't matter where your from this place brings people together!
Lots of amazing things about Stella Village: - thought the food was absolutely delicious (two vegetarians and a meat eater!). Lots of choice, flavoursome and so, so fresh. - loved the amphitheatre and the shows - lots and lots to do for children (my 2yo was in heaven!). - great staff who are very friendly and efficient - basic room but does the job - handy to have a fridge in the room - good little shops nearby - great cocktail bar down the road (Sun Bar?)- the guy who runs it is amazing and my daughter loved going there (she demanded an 'all pink drink' and he gave her everything pink he could conjure up!) - lovely mini disco on an evening - great playground next to the mini pirate water area in Stella Village - Mediterra restaurant has gorgeous views and a really classy feel to it (this place made our holiday!). Great wine on an evening too (although you have to pay extra for this) - ok beach nearby - easy to get a taxi to Heronissos. Lots and lots to do (eat!!) there - waterpark is great and food is lovely there - GREAT value for money However, (and there are some big howevers!!), - hotel is so, so noisy and not great for little kids in that regard. I emailed ahead and asked for a quiet room and was told 'we allocate rooms on arrival'. Fair enough. Arrived and was allocated a room next to the pool. I asked if this was quiet and was told it was. IT WAS NOT! Music is so loud until 11pm, people walking back yelling and screaming (more a reflection on some of the people that visit this hotel rather than the hotel itself).... it almost spoiled the holiday as we were exhausted running after a toddler all day and then not sleeping until early hours of the morning due to noise. To make matters worse, there are clearly quieter rooms down the path yet we were not given one despite having a young child. Not great. - main buffet restaurant is busy and hectic and so, so stressful. Food is great as mentioned above but it is like a school cafeteria with the chaos and noise. We much preferred the other buffet place (Mediterra). You had to reserve here and the food on an evening was repeated every night but this was fine with me. Mediterra was calm and relaxed and fit the classy vibe a little more. - drinks aren't great. Soft drinks taste strange and cocktails are odd. - rooms are a little on the dark and small side but fine if you manage expectations. - the main bar and pools were a little old and 'rickety' - again, manage expectations and you'll be fine! - on our first day we went into the restaurant and nobody told us anything about gloves or masks or seating arrangements. We were sharply told about wearing gloves. Fair enough BUT someone needs to be on the door informing new guests about the policies in place. Also, for breakfast and lunch in Mediterra, you choose your own table. This, again, was not explained to us so we just had to watch and figure things out ourselves. A bit of help would have been better! All in all, a great time BUT be aware of the noise and take some spends for days out and a nice meal/drinks in Heronissos so your trip is varied. Don't expect luxury- it's a budget hotel for the most part. However, great value for money.…
Wow what can I say from the minute we arrived until the minute we left nothing was ever too much for the staff of Stella Village the rooms were lovely cleaned every day and fresh towels every day the food was always lovely weather in the meditra restaurant or the main buffet restaurant staff were brilliant. The pools were nice and clean plenty of sunbeds pool bar staff were amazing especially emilie the entertainment was brilliant over all 10 out of 10 for everything would recommend for couple and families
Just got back from a weeks holiday with my 3 year old grandaughter. What a fantastic time she had. The animation team were excellent with the kids she loved the kids disco. The water park was great good for little ones. If your child's happy were was happy. My only criticism is the food, for children not much choice other than pizza or spaghetti. Waterpark had better food Rooms: we moved room day after arriving very small dark and dingy and only had a rail to hang clothes, reception very good and offered me a room change which was 487 top floor big balcony away from noise very bright and sun all day. I did complain about a few things little bits Having to que up to get a table in a evening, which they said was due to covid but that's rubbish not enough seating for the number of guests as still on 80% full Did get a free complimentary meal at the Palace from the managers who by the way had time to listen and get tip/ideas The Palace just walking through to get to waterpark was in a different league more my style. But overhaul had a fantastic time staff couldn't do enough and my grandaughter had the best ever holiday Thanks to everyone there x…
We have just arrived back after staying at Stella village for 1 week. We booked this holiday 10 days before going, the fact it was 4*, on the beach and had plenty of pools sold it to us. However i would say that this hotel is more 3*. Ill start with the downsides... - This hotel isn't for the fussy eaters. There isnt much choice of food at all, and its very repetitive. The breakfast was a complete let down, 'American style' was because it served pancakes, but the rest was not anything like a 'english fry up' that id have loved. It was very continental. I then ended up living on pizza and chips for dinner and evening meal. Pudding was the best part. DRINKS ARE AWFUL. The Fanta, coke etc on tap had no flavour. It all tasted like sparkling water. 'Juice' in the morning was like cordial that hadn't been mixed with water. - Our room was lovely. Room 265. Great location just up from the pool, clean and very comfortable. However, next to our room as a flight of stairs, and other guests had no thought for anyone else, we heard shouting late at night and first thing in the morning and stomping going up and down the stairs. One night there was a wedding at the medditera bar which kept us awake until gone 3am with the bass from the music. This was very inconsiderate for paying hotel guests. - Do not upgrade to Stella palace. You can pay 30 euros per person, per day to use the facilites here. We did this and asked for our money back after 2 hours. You cant get a sun lounger as its too busy and there's no atmosphere. We sat there listening to 2 families arguing over sun beds and soon regretted upgrading. The pool at Stella village is smaller but this is where the fun is.. music, games and the animation team. - The animation team were great, special shout out to Iwona and Clemment. They kept everyone entertained and always had a smile on their face. You can see they really love their job and want everyone to have a great holiday. - Evening entertainment was good fun. There is a mini disco for kids from 8.30 until 9pm and then the adults Entertainment starts at 9.30. This inclused dance shows, music acts and acrobats. My partner also took long trousers to wear in the restaurants as this was stated when we booked the hotel. This rule is ignored when you're there, there were men frequently in swim shorts and vest tops having their evening meal which was very annoying. Overall the accommodation and all staff are brilliant, however the all inclusive food and drink really let this hotel down, but this could easily be fixed. …
