Free all hundred of your senses in your dreams as much as in life at EKIES – ALL SENSES RESORT, in the gulf of Vourvourou, in Sithonia Halkidiki. On an almost private beach, with rich white sand and clear blue waters, with a view that overlooks the blue of the sea and the green of the pine forests. A destination that is ideal for those who seek to relax and unwind. Who enjoy boat trips to deserted small islands but also secluded, hard to reach beaches. You can get there in only 80 minutes from “Macedonia” airport of Thessaloniki, be that with your own car or with hotel transport that will take you comfortably, from and to the airport or any other destination

Ekies is a wonderful resort that can leave noone dissapointed. It is the perfect combination of elegance , still with a laid back atmosphere. The rooms and suites are all very spacious . The hotel taverna is beautiful, located next to the small beach, and do not miss out the a la carte restuarant Bubo! Amazing food. I really liked the sunbeds out on the deck, where you can get get some quiet time if the beach gets a bit to noisy. ( It is a childfriendly resort). It is the perfect resort for families, and if you want to have a little bit of peace and quiet with less children you should choose to go here spring or early autumn. September was perfect for us! :-)

everything is just perfect: rooms are great, reservation hotline was friendly and accommodating, beach is perfect, not only for kids, pool area is stylish and very chilling, food is good, sunbeds comfy, whole concept seems thought through with a laid back atmosphere, awesome kids playground, relaxing spa, outdoor gym and even womderflive music in the taverna restaurant. if only the staff was more friendly!!! Except for the reception staff and one young lady with beautiful black eyeliner at dinner, most people employed do not know how to smile, how to say „good morning“ or „hello“. They are not really impoliteness rather not interested in guest and at a max are simply providing services. (went to the breakfast bar 5 minutes before closing time in the morning and was told: “no coffee breakfast is over!”) So only 4 out of 5 points.

We were a family of 7- grandparents (2), adult daughter, son and wife, and 2 grandchildren (6,2). We chose Ekies because of its emphasis on "family friendly", but was smaller than many options and seemed to get good reviews for the quality of food provided. The son +wife + grandchildren stayed in a large suite (an excellent choice), and we stayed in a junior suite for 4 nights upgraded to a Pine suite for 3 nights. We stayed for 7 nights and then moved on to Kassandra Palace for 8 nights- reviewed separately. To be clear my wife and I (the grandparents) travel a lot, and staying in a resort is NOT our norm- but our aim was to give everyone a super holiday and to help with the care of the youngsters. Ekies certainly met our high expectations, and indeed the attitude of the staff, particularly in regard to the little ones was fantastic- I can certainly confirm that Ekies is "family friendly"- the beach was PERFECT for children of this age- although older ones might wish for something a little more exciting. The food offering was indeed first class. We took the half board option and felt we made no compromises around how we would wish to eat when travelling, although if I was doing this again I'd probably do B&B for a couple of nights as there are a couple of excellent tavernas within walking distance. We took everyone on a boat trip which we'd certainly recommend. Improvements?- Please don't serve San Pelligrino- I like SP- but when in Greece why not serve your local sparkling water. Also extend the shallow end of the main pool- at busy times the small shallow end is insufficient. Ekies is not a cheap option, particularly in August, but it has an excellent ambience, and delivered good value. I would happily recommend it.

small children. If that is not your case the noise anywhere and at anytime is extremely uncomfortable (we had a baby yelling all night for several nights in a row the room net to ours) . The service tries its best but it it is very slow, the breakfast is varied but not of the quality expected, eg coffee is black water. The rooms are pretty good and functional, best part of the place. Location and what is called the beach are very poor. Ah the signage to find the resort is virtually inexistant. I do not recommend this resort for adults and we are sorry to have come here, we leave with poor memories and wish that the employees get a better management so this does not go under, I have seen better places unable to survive.

Response from Ekies Info, General Manager at Ekies All Senses Resort
Responded Aug 21, 2023
Dear Joao_ana, The perfect place for you to stay regarding quietness would have been just 20 nautical miles away! Mount Athos!!!! You decided to take vacations in August which by default is the busiest month of the Summer and more specific in a Hotel and destination which are very Family friendly. Regarding coffee at the breakfast area what you call " black water" is actually high quality coffee. I would be more than happy to tell you what kind of coffee it was. P.S: Thank you for your comment regarding you seeing better places going under. In case we would need consulting services in order not to go under we will definitely consult you.

The space is fantastic and beautifully decorated, the service is very very bad. The personnel at the restaurant is simply not trained. Definitely does not offer the service that we would expect for the price we paid. Very beautiful rooms and common spaces, but management should invest on trained waiters.

Ekies All Senses Resort is a hidden gem. Don't miss out on going to this magical place. It was everything I was hoping for in a Greece vacation away from the crowds on the islands. The staff was so gracious and helpful, the resort architecture was unlike any place I've been to. I loved it! Fruit trees everywhere on the property.

Had the best massage ever by Giorgi. He really knows what he is doing, you feel he has a passion for finding the tension points and solving the issues in the body. Highly recommend! Makes the holiday in this wonderful resort complete!

Very "Basic" restaurant, without anything special în terms of food. Good service, but the mousaka, the loukoumades and the feta pie looked unfrozen and warmed. The sweet potatoes were cooked hours before... The prices are about 40% more than the food would justify, but I pressume that being part of the hotel, it îs normal for the restaurant to tax like this.

Everything people wrote here was true. First of all when you choose a design hotel, you know what to expect and this hotel won’t disappoint you. In reality everything here is better than on pictures. Pictures just can’t convey all this beauty of landscape design, naturally wonderful seaside area. About last one, the sea, as it’s said in many reviews, is super calm and super safe for kids and sand shines and not bothers with sticking. Even for these reasons I would choose this area till my toddler will grow up quite enough, because I could lie down on sun bed while a baby played in the sand or sea and not be anxious about waves or sharp depth of the sea. A food in both restaurants is really delicious and for this kind off place and this kind of service and this kind of “masterpieces” not expensive at all (as expected). Stuff is genuinely friendly, I guess they were chosen for this job first of all as good humans and then as professionals. What I would suggest is to add a little kid pool slide in small pool. Children’s area is really nice and quite big by the way. (I liked a smell of wooden attraction while raining there with my kid). About smells, if you walk in the nearest forest you will feel amazing coniferous smell and also shampoos and all this bath staff smells adorably as well :) Buildings in the area are separated with plants so wisely that you can’t even imagine there are so many rooms and guests don't really overlap with each other because of it. The hotel is family friendly. There were many families with especially infants and toddlers, but because of big area and also intelligent guests I guess you are not at all bothered with noise or some hard behaviour of kids. Water sport attractions has not big choice , there was only one catamaran with slider and that half broken. Generally for us it was so perfect vocation that I wanted to express my gratitude with this review so I found time and wrote all this truth about this place. It was named “all senses resort” for real reasons. Wish them more and more success! 🤍
