Were 9/23 with our 3 year old daughter 10 days in a room above the restaurant. Very clean and nice- without balcony - partly very loud because of live music, disturbing with toddler ...

Breakfast varied and sufficient - but still expandable...Children's chairs partly dirty...

Restaurant around it typical Greek hospitality;-) but delicious food ! Area disappointing ...

Parking for car always available!

Beach small but sufficient, nice and flat for toddler super 👍🏼 Pool not heated and without toys for children ...

Playground remade and great 👍🏼

Staff very nice , service long wait

Alone boat trip is great 👍🏼 if you don’t go with the flow of other people 😉

Very nice hotel on a great (small) beach, which does have a few oddities... First of all: the food is great, the complex is very well maintained, the beach is very nice. It is a family hotel, 90% of the guests were there with small children. Great for us, because there were always loud small children somewhere, so it wasn't unpleasant for us when ours were loud ;)
The rooms are all very different, which can lead to annoyance. We were shown a suite on the upper floor and a suite with a garden, we chose the latter because the suite on the upper floor didn't have a balcony and we didn't feel like lugging twins (who couldn't walk yet). A new playground was being built opposite the suite, which was very loud at times - on the third day in a row with loud diesel excavators, I went to reception, and the answer was: It won't be long now. No apology, no suggestion of a solution... The staff are also veeeery reserved. We had booked half board and so we met the staff every morning and evening, but they never asked us how our day was, whether we liked it, etc., and when we checked out they didn't ask us about our experience either?! A matter of taste, but I also like to chat with the people there.
There are far too few loungers at the pool, so we didn't even try. There is always something free on the beach, but we weren't there in high season. Unfortunately there are people who reserve loungers here too, but we didn't see anything being done about it.
Drinks are overpriced, cocktail prices are cheeky. Beer and wine are expensive but affordable.
Despite the "flaws" we would come back because it was great for the kids. Even more so now that the new playground is (hopefully) finished. I wouldn't recommend it for couples.

We were here as a couple in mid-May to unwind. We had already read in the reviews that many families with small children vacation here, but it was surprising that we and another couple were the only ones without small children. As soon as we checked in at reception we noticed the flood of strollers.
We had a room in the main building, which was very nice, but the ceiling height was not suitable for tall people. The Coco-Mat bed was very comfortable and the room was very bright. Unfortunately it was also very thinly soundproof. You can hear almost everything. When the babies cry at night, when the children run around in the other rooms. Everything is transmitted through the wooden floorboards.
The hotel itself is a great, winding complex with great greenery, very modern furnishings. It is fully deserved to be called a Member of Design Hotels. Someone has a real knack here.
The restaurant area is very nice. We had booked half board and were a little disappointed with the buffet offered at dinner. There was actually the same thing every day and because of the many children, the food was probably adapted to suit them. Fish, often breaded, meatballs, chicken in mushroom cream, spaghetti with tomato sauce and other pasta with ham. Puff pastry filled with cheese. The salad buffet always had the same salads and dips. The good Greek cuisine was also unfortunately missing at breakfast. Out of 9 evenings there was one a la carte. That was excellent and you could tell that people had been sitting there for much longer. The beach is well equipped and there is always a place. By the pool and on the beach.
Unfortunately I can't recommend it as a couple to relax. The hotel can't do anything about that, it's more down to the parents who now allow their children to do anything. At times the staff had to work with 5 people to clean up a breakfast area because it was a total battlefield. That's a real shame, if some people behaved better, the staff and the other guests would enjoy it too. Unfortunately, that wasn't just the case with the food, but in all areas. The hotel is super nice and the staff are really friendly and very helpful.

Scam! The rooms are absolutely horrid, for the price you pay, you aren’t getting anything special. The beach is filthy, it stinks and isn’t worth swimming in. Sweaty people going into the pool with children… The gym has NO air conditioning! For breakfast, the sparkling water is paid EXTRA, and you can’t pour your own still water. 5 minutes after breakfast, if you order coffee, they will charge you. ZERO customer service. The sink and toilet are constantly clogging and nobody comes to fix them. You can find something much better for this price, we paid 5000€ for this…

Response from Ekies Info, General Manager at Ekies All Senses Resort
Responded Aug 26, 2024
Dear Masa, We were taken aback by the severity and inaccuracy of your review, especially given the consistently positive feedback we receive from our guests. Firstly, labeling our establishment a "scam" is not only unfounded but also misleading. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional value and quality, as evidenced by numerous satisfied guests who have enjoyed their stays without issue. Regarding the rooms, our accommodations are regularly inspected and maintained to the highest standards. If there were specific problems during your stay, we were not informed and would have addressed them promptly had we been made aware. The condition of our beach is something we take great pride in. Our dedicated maintenance team works tirelessly to ensure it remains clean and safe for all guests. Describing it as "filthy" and "stinky" is simply inaccurate and disregards the hard work our staff puts in daily. The pool area is designed to be a welcoming space for all guests, including families. It's unfortunate that you found the presence of children bothersome, but creating an inclusive environment is a priority for us. Our gym is an open air gym!!! and this is the reason we do not have an A/C ( I hope this makes sense to you!) Regarding breakfast, our pricing for premium items like sparkling water is clearly stated, and we offer still water at no additional charge. Transparency in our pricing is something we uphold to ensure guests are fully informed. Maintenance concerns, such as clogged sinks and toilets, are addressed immediately when reported. It's disappointing to hear that you felt these issues were neglected, as this does not reflect our commitment to guest satisfaction. Spending €5,000 for a stay with us and finding it lacking is perplexing, given the value and experiences we consistently provide. We encourage you to reach out directly so we can address any specific concerns and rectify any misunderstandings. We stand by the quality of our services and amenities and regret that your experience did not reflect this. We hope to have the opportunity to restore your faith in our establishment in the future. Kind regards,

Ekies is a beautiful, small-scale resort with its own beach.
Both restaurants have a good menu, the service is friendly and knowledgeable.

The buildings with the rooms are playfully distributed over the well-maintained grounds, full of plants and flowers. These also create privacy for the rooms. And a home for the nightingale and golden oriole with their beautiful songs.

If it stayed like this, we would give 5 stars, but unfortunately we were also disappointed. We knew from the reviews that the resort is considered child-friendly, but we did not expect so many children. In the 2 weeks we were there, 90% were families with 2 or more children. Peace was hard to find!

We fled every day to other nice places and beautiful beaches that Sithonia fortunately has.

Despite the disappointment, we still had a wonderful holiday!

Very nice boutique hotel in a silent and peacefull side of Vourvourou. The rooms are quite good and adequate size, and the room designs are very simplistic in the sense of like Apple design language with very nice small details that makes you smile. Our room also had a large balcony which added to the comfort of the room. The overal hotel area, the common restaurant and bar areas are well decorated with comfortable seating all around. The beach area is very nice with soft sand and shallow/peacefull sea that is very suitable/excellent for children. For some adult swimmers it could be too shallow for a long distance. Sunbeds are large and comfortable with thick bedding, and they are spaced far from each other. The hotel is very children friendly. The breakfast buffet is excellent, not too many selections but nothing is junk, from poultry to cheese, eggs and sweets every thing was very tastefull. Lunch and dinner menu selection is also vast and tastefull. The à la carte restaurant for dinner was suprisingly excellent... the service, the presentation and the menu all were suprisingly excellent. The steaks, the risotto, the special Greek salad, the grilled octopus, all very very good, impossible to count all. Congratulations for the Chef. The coctail menu is also worth mentioning, very nice selection of coctails, I tried many many of the coctails and loved every one of them. The bartender must have a very good taste and very balanced hand, whatever I tried was good and every time I ordered the same coctail the taste was always consistent. And finaly the staff, they are excellent. And we experienced and excellent 50 best Greek wines testing course event with Yiannis Karakasis during our stay. Very unique and joyfull experience. The staff are all very polite, very friendly, very nice people. I don't know how the hotel could manage to find so many good people at once. Whatever you order they try to bring it as quick as possible, they explain everything in detail and they are always smiling. You never have to run after a waiter, they are always around you asking if you need anything. I would highly recommend Eikies and I will probably visit regularly every year.

If you want to treat yourself to something special, you should treat yourself to a few days in this extraordinary place in Vourvourous. The facility shows that understated luxury and sustainability do not have to be a contradiction. The rooms are visually modern-minimalist - but still equipped with everything your heart desires. Pool, breakfast, bar....all great. Look at the photos on the website. They tend to understate. The whole complex is embedded in a well-kept plant world. All this is topped by the extremely friendly service. We would like to highlight Marina and Katia. But basically the whole team including reception was very good - personal friendliness coupled with high professionalism. We look forward to coming back.

We had a wonderful family holiday at Ekies with our 13 and 15 year old children. Stayed in a large suite, which was beautifully designed and located between the pool, restaurants and beach so a great position in the resort. The hotel impressed us with its unique design features, excellent service at the restaurant, bar and on the beach and very comfortable sun loungers. Although busy being August, it never felt crowded and there was always loungers available on beach and around the pool and seats with an amazing view in the bar, which has a cool vibe and is right next to the beach to enjoy the sunset. There isn’t much we would improve but perhaps a little more activities for older children would be good e.g a table tennis/pool tables, as there isn’t much in the local area and water sports in Vourvourou Bay seem to be limited to paddle boarding and windsurfing due to the bay being protected so no jet skis or water skiing allowed. We hired a boat and there are some absolutely beautiful secluded swimming spots only accessible by boat, we were given a map to find the best and safest places to drop anchor and swim.

There was a good choice at breakfast and good eat all around menu which could be taken anywhere in the hotel. We also tried some of the local restaurants in walking distance, Melia was very good with live music a couple of nights each week and Paris restaurant gave us an authentic Greek taverna menu. Big Top pizza, just outside hotel by the car park was also a hit with the kids and the beach bar, a short stroll along the beach was good value for a light lunch.

We would definitely return, this is a gem of a hotel in a gorgeous location and made for a very relaxing holiday.

Ekies has a stunning design, the rooms are spacious and it’s so green and calm that could definitely become one of the best places to spend our family holidays. We spent 18 days and we were very much looking forward to, however, we were negatively surprised by the service, starting from the room devision manager who always left us with the impression that she is a bit bothered by our questions, to the waiters who were slightly rude, slow and incompetent. By way of exception Tasos, Kostas and Matina were very friendly and good at their job. Another thing that left us speechless was that we asked for the half board menu but the waiter was negotiating whether we could order this or that because its value would go above the price that we paid. We felt very insulted and stopped the half board so we could order freely. The sea in front of Ekies is nothing like the crystal-clear waters that one can find in Halkidiki, but at least it is very safe for toddlers and young kids as it is very shallow. All in all, a not so pleasant experience and definitely not a place to return.

We stayed first time here, in mid July this year and this ultimate design hotel just made our stay incredible! The food is tasty, the beach is spotless, the see is clear and calm, the vibe is good, the music is chill... The best day of our trip was renting a small boat and a captain, a young girl that made this day very special by revealing to us the hidden gems of Diaporos island. Her name is Katerina, she is amazing, I would book her every day and discover all the sandy beaches all over again and again.
Thank you, Katerina, for your care and kindness!!!!

This is a kids-friendly place. Other than the bar of the hotel by the beach which is very decent but does not seem to stay up until early in the morning, I have no idea of any other places (bars/bistros/night clubs) around. I guess that there may be some in the surrounding area (or relatively close if you want to drive), but have not experienced any my self.

Sorry, I only used AC (it was full summer); but we had a fireplace and I think they have some heating system in the rooms. Just check with the hotel concierge: they are very kind and helpful.:-)

Hi, the hotel can arrange a private transfer from Thessalonika airport to the resort, which is what we did. So either ring them up or send them an email to agree the cost of the transfer. Alternatively, if you think that during your stay you will be needing a car to do a bit of sightseeing (which is not a bad idea as there are many nice beaches to visit nearby), you'd be better off renting a car from Thessalonika airport and save the cost of the transfer on both legs (if I am not wrong we were charged Euro 130/140 per leg)
Answer from Ekies I

Good morning. We do provide transfer service and the cost is 130 euro per way per car
