Returned yet again to our favourite Greek Hotel and it didn’t disappoint.Yet again ticked all the boxes with a fantastic welcome from the family and their loyal staff.Every time we return small touches have been done to subtly improve the facilities without changing the essential character of the place that customers love.Rooms are a good size, simply furnished and kept spotlessly clean with regular servicing. The bar and restaurant has a good range of good and drink on offer ,whatever the time of day. Beautifully positioned next to a sandy beach with warm clear waters, that has discounted loungers for Hotel guests,it’s perfect for relaxing.Don’t even need to leave beach for refreshments as a little buzzer by the loungers can be used to alert staff that you require something, which is promptly brought to you. Huge thanks to Katerina,George,Julie and Wayne for a superb, much needed break.Like so many we’ll be back.

Ate in the restaurant on the beach several times, for breakfast or brunch or lunch. Good every time really enjoyed the food & drink. Staff really friendly. Glad we visited. Salads were lovely & English breakfast well worth it. They served on the beach if you wished.

We didn't actually stay at the hotel as we were at Danny's. We visited this lovely hotel several times whilst staying in Alakanas, had several meals which were delicious and really well priced. Great choice of drinks too. The pool is lovely and all staff were very friendly and welcoming. Just rebooked so see you all again in 3 weeks.

On my first visit to Zante I was fortunate enough to come across the Valais Hotel and decided, should I visit Zante again, that this would be where I stayed the next time I visited. The family that run this hotel are amazing. They are so kind, friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel has the most perfect location right on the beach with the most fabulous views across the ocean . The pool is amazing and the food is wonderful. I absolutely love this hotel and will never stay anywhere else in Zante. Kat and George are the most wonderfully welcoming and helpful hosts imaginable. Guests staying here return year after year. To me, this hotel has an old world charm where the pace is slow, the location is beyond ideal and where the hosts treat you like family.

We come at the bar, we talked to the waitress and she started making fun of us because of the difficulties of understanding english of one of us. So rude and unacceptable. The only normal thing is that the prices were ok and the choice of ice cream as well.

We arrived in mid July and was the first hotel guests for the season due to many cancellations due to covid19 so we had this lovely hotel for our sole use for our 1st week and have to say although a little strange we enjoyed it very much. The hotel was kept spotlessly clean with the staff constantly wiping down tables, chairs, handles as soon as customers had vacated them, and all this while wearing mask & gloves in 90 degree heat they deserve a medal and special mention has to go to Vaso, Oliyer and Eva who looked after us so so well and I must not forget the young lady who got our room spotless, again all while wearing full ppe head to foot. Our room was on the 2nd floor (208) and had a great view overlooking the sea and came with a double and single bed which was very comfortable. The room was equipped with a flat screen tv, Fridge, safe hairdryer and plenty of storage for clothes etc. The pool was again kept lovely and clean with loads of sunbeds and you could also hire a mattress for the beds for 1 euro which I thought was a bit penny pinching when you resident of the hotel. We ate at the hotel a few times during the day and everything was ok but never ate there at night as it was a bit quite maybe due to the strange times when we visited. We loved our stay at the Valais and the staff were excellellent but have to say I found the drinks a little expensive especially when you can buy the same drinks just up the road for half the price and again it maybe the reason the bar was empty at night.

Thank you very much for spending your holiday with us and also for your review You looked into your comment about the 1euro for the use of a mattress and you are right since you are a resident it should be free so we are changing that immediately Now as for our drinks being more expensive than up the road we need to say that all our staff as you mentioned before for all the excellent work they do , they are paid and they are fully insured for the work they do,also as you know yourself we give out receipts with everything that we serve in our snack-bar restaurant so we pay tax to our government as we should be ,we take pride for our alcoholic drinks and beers we serve because you get what you ask for and not some other kind ,for example(Smirnoff is Smirnoff and Mythos on draught is Mythos and not the cheap greek beer Zorba) We hope to see you again soon and again thank you very much for your comments

Lovely family run hotel which was spotlessly clean and offered a wide range of excellent food. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making sure we had the best stay possible. The pool was huge and also clean. The hotel is right on the beach with private sunbeds and a great selection of water sports which were very reasonably priced. We had the perfect holiday and will definitely be back next year!

We didn’t stay at the hotel but are here regularly during our visit to Zante. The pool bar is available to use for non residents and is very good. Dinner in the evenings, watching the sun set is fantastic. Julie was very attentive and helpful and the quality and price of the meals we had was very inexpensive for the quality and quantity. Highly recommended!

We didn't actually stay here but used it regularly. There were six of us and we regularly ate, drank and used the beach area. The large pool can be used by anyone and its huge and hardly saw anyone in it during our stay. Special thanks to Julie who was exceptionally helpful whenever we went. A wealth of knowledge. And Andy at the beach again was very helpful. We were all on the beach most days and using the hitel facilities. The toilets and WiFi were free to use and we just loved it there. Julie knows who we are lol so thanks to her and everyone at the valais. And thanks to Andy for looking after us on the beach. A truly fab place .
