Enagron Eco Village is in a beautiful setting surrounded by mountains and gorges. They try to stick to the traditional Cretan diet, offering lamb cooked on an open fire, for example. The rooms are clean and comfortable but do need updating. Common rooms have many Cretan decorations and artwork. The Olive Press area is very interesting. Absolutely fantastic swimming pool. We just came back from our 2 week vacation at the gorgeous Enagron Eco Village, and I already miss it! The location is stunning! Our 3 bedroom apartment was amazing with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and the phenomenal infinity pool. It’s utterly charming and peaceful….. The food is unbelievable!! We left a few times to dine elsewhere, but nothing could beat the cuisine at Enagron! Everything is so fresh and delicious. It’s obvious they only use their own or local produce. You can actually taste various flowers in the honey they serve…..never tasted anything like it in my life. Very impressed!!! The Enagron team, from the receptionists to the waiters at the restaurant are all equally kind, warm and helpful, which makes a stay there even more enjoyable. The day before we left I booked an appointment at the Spa for a full body and face treatment. Mairie/Mary did a excellent job. My skin hadn’t felt so soft in a long, long time and my face looked radiant again after 2 weeks of sunbathing. All in all, this is a hidden gem in the middle of the most beautiful surroundings where you can relax and enjoy the best things in life…..away from everything! I went to Enagron in Crete for 5 days and my experience was absolutely fantastic!!! The food was simply amazing, felt like moms gathered in the kitchen to prepare food for the family with rich organic flavours!! Breakfast was like a dream, a lot of options to try with products made from them!! Some nights we had Greek live music from 2 brilliant lads that I fully enjoyed!! I found myself spending a lot of hours in the farm that has a lot of different animals like donkeys (they love cuddles), ponies, deers, chickens and more along with a crazy gammon that likes to chat a lot, but very friendly little guy!!! It was the most sweet spot to go chill and connect with animals, a place that only love and cuddles matter, that was simply amazing!!!! The outdoor swimming pool was very nice, with a view of the mountains along the sounds of nature that calmed me for hours!! The staff was very friendly, my gratitude to the reception as I got all sorts of information that made my journey a lot easier, faster in result to enjoy more than trying to figure things out. My sincere gratitude for your hospitality and the experience that you have given, hope to see you all again next year!! …

If you want to enjoy traditional Cretan food, great choice of wines, Greek hospitality at it’s best, wonderful nature in the middle of the mountains, this is the place to go! Minimum stay 3 nights, as choosing the dish from the menu is very hard with so many choices. My best regards to the owners, kichen and serving staff of Enagron for making my stay there amaizing!

We can't wait to stay at Enagron again, loved everything about it. Very professionally managed, good customer service, arrival was excellent, everything explained and we felt taken care of. The level of service at reception, the restaurant and generally is top notch and very personal. The wifi is good, teenager standard. Rooms lovely and very spacious. Breakfasts are buffet and really good, lots of choice (until 10.30am), we had all our dinners at Enagron and they were good. The views are incredible, we loved going to the pool and watching the birds of prey. We didn't do much else on our stay but there is lots to do in the area and the activities offered by Enagron look very good. Totally recommend staying here, the quiet is wonderful and its just a beautiful place. So well managed and we felt looked after.…

We loved Enagron from the minute we arrived. Surrounded by natural beauty this is the perfect place for families who need sometime to unwind without getting bored! The pool is magnificent and we spent many a morning watching eagles saur overhead as we swam in the mountains. Mary, Enagron's concierge, took excellent care of us and offered some wonderful recommendations for local trips and outings. The food was excellent and waiting staff warm, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was fantastic, fresh fruit, Greek yogurt with pancakes, homemade honey and fig jam where among my morning favourites. The dinner menu presented us with a variety of authentic Cretan food so we tried something different every night in the 6 nights we were there. There were a mixture of people staying, couples and families, quite a few with small children. My children enjoyed meeting some of the kids at the resort pool but a part from that the resort felt serene and quiet as the cottages are quite spread out and the other guests attracted to Enagron clearly respect the slow and peaceful pace. There is a lot to do at the resort if you want to take part such as breadmaking or borrowing a donkey which we enjoyed. We loved visiting nearby attractions such as Stefonis Cave and Axos Village. In the village there is a wonderful textile shop and the museum of wooden scultpure, both fun to visit. In August the trees are full of fresh figs and grapes hang everywhere, it really is the land of the Gods! My husband and I treated ourselves to a massage at the resort spa which was excellent and very resonably priced. We are quite an adventurous family who like to travel and visit new places however we will certainly be returning to Enagron.…

Stayed for 3 nights at beginning of May, location is amazing, fantastic place to unwind, relax, walk and enjoy the environment and the general area. Food is great, lots of local specialities, using local ingredients. Two of us used the spa, and both Mairy and Marikelly were great I had the Cretan massage and it was excellent. Our room was the two room with separate bedroom and loft space and was lovely. It was still pretty cool especially at night, but there are blankets available Would definitely visit again

First of all the hotel is crazy, perfect location, a bit far from the center but totally worth it! An atmosphere of tranquility a and open nature, the design is perfect and gives an experience of authenticity, the food is great, there are also exceptional spa treatments, I highly recommend Marie's facial treatment! A touch of magic and good energy.

Went with a group of friends and the food was superb! They made many classes available. We learned how to make two kinds of bread and a wonderful shepherd taught us how to make 2 kinds of cheese. I had a massage by Mary and it was wonderful. Highly recommend staying here for 3 days minimum. Beautiful place that is very peaceful.

Extremely good acomodation, luxury rooms, extremely beautifull landscape ,and delicious Cretan food!! You can see old olive factory - like a museum of old life style in CRETA. The breakfast is so rich and full of cretan products and tastes!! The traditional live music played by Vangelis and Kostas gave enthousiasm to the awdience!! Waiting to go again to Enagron Ecotourism Village Axos!!
