I was a little put off by some of the negativity on the reviews here. Having just stayed four days I need not have worried.
This is not a hotel that goes out of its way to impress. It offers simple, clean accommodation next to a very good sand/pebble beach and crystal clear sea.
The wifi was excellent.
Sure, the beds could do with replacement, the bathrooms a makeover and the coffee, juice and processed meat/cheese at breakfast upgraded. It would then be a hotel worth 100 -150 euros plus a night rather than the paltry off-season rate that I paid.
The beach along from the hotel is very relaxed towards naturists and was ideal for swimming and snorkeling off the rocks.
I would certainly recommend to friends looking for a simple, super relaxed getaway.

Location! Overlooking the long beach and many rooms are sea facing with great views. Breakfast on the terrace is a great way to start the day. Beach allows easy access to the sea and sun beds are all free to use. Staff are all great and so helpful. Dora, Elena in the pool and restaurant areas and all the reception staff and management are so helpful. The pool and poolside taverna area is very pleasant and the food on offer is delicious, good value and freshly prepared. Try the daily specials. You won’t be disappointed. All in all, a great value and enjoyable stay.

Yes, the hotel is not trendy and rooms are a bit old fashioned and bathrooms can use an upgrade, but there end the negative points. The hotel has the best location in Molyvos. It is just out of the village, in a big, green and quiet park near the sea. You can easy walk to the village, it is about 1 km. To the harbour of Molyvos, it is about 2 km. The nearest supermarket is at 500 meter. The public bus to Kalloni, to the saltpans and to Petra and Mytilene stops in front of the hotel. Very practical. If you like walking, it is a nice walk along the coast to Petra, about 5 km. You can walk to Eftalou too, about the same distance. The hotel is very clean and has a recent layer of painting. Buffet breakfast has a lot of choices and is very tasty. It is so lovely to take breakfast on the big terrace with a lovely view at the sea and at the village. Swallows and squirrels are around you and a friendly cat comes to great you. Swimmingpool and sun terrace are beautiful and offer a nice view at Molyvos and the sea. There is a bar at the swimmingpool. If you like a cool breeze, you can take a lounger at the private beach, under the trees or under an umbrella. It is lovely there. Just be carefull, near the beach, in the grass, we saw 2 very big snakes. But we were lucky that we saw them. We had a room in the building. There are bungalows too, but then you are a bit further away from everything. We had a room with a terrace with garden view, and were lucky because most of the day, we had shadow. People at the hotel are so friendly and helpful. Thank you Theodora and your colleague, for the good service at breakfasttime! Just returned home after our 3rd visit to The Delfinia and we will be back We usually take a bungalow and use the hotel's breakfast, garden, beach and pool/pool bar facilities. The hotel is splendidly located with breathtaking views to the castle and of the sea/coast. We find it relaxing and de-stressing there. The hotel is clean, tidy and welcoming. The staff are polite and provide first class service. There is always an extremely wide choice of breakfast food - something for everybody. Highly recommended

All in all a nice stay. But the rooms need an serious update. Especially the beds. No watercooker in the room (bungalow) and it was not aviable on request. The pool taverna is overpriced compared to food prices in Molyvos. Hotel staff is very friendly, but it is clear that the entire hotel lacks resources. This hotel has lost it’s standard over the years and we are sure that we will choose another hotel on our next visit to Molyvos.

It was a hotel we traveled through time like we were vacationing in the 90s. The hotel is very old yet immaculately clean and tidy. It’s even hanging with a framed documentation that recognises that she received an award in 1986. The rooms are nostalgic. Not many modern amenities. But everything is enough and enjoyable. No parking issues. The pool is so fun. I was surprised by the difference between shallow and deep in the pool. The deepest place was about 3 meters away that made a difference. The view in the breakfast room is stunning. Breakfast is enough. The reception was kindly received. Getting down the pool section on the hotel stairs is a breeze, and the tree fields in the area are a breeze. We can't wait to go back.

The hotel is situated in an amazing location in a very green estate. It is peaceful, has its own very long beach, a beautiful swimming pool, sports facilities and the friendliest, most polite and helpful personnel. Having a cocktail with the Molyvos castle as a view is the best one can wish. Molyvos village is within walking distance and offers everything from delicious greek food to evening entertainment, various cultural events in the castle, art exhibitions and relaxed walks in the beautiful nature. I highly recommend it. I can go there every year for my holiday and will never get bored.
