I'm a new mum and decided to go out for dinner for the first time with my baby since she has been born. I nervous about this already. I walked into the restaurant with my husband, making our way to a table which our friends were already seated on and from behind the restaurant desk a lady shouted (drawing everyone's... More

Popped in here on the way back and as it was raining thought it would be good for the kids to play in the play area. Which they loved. We was also lucky and got a Carvery for £3.95 which was great and the food was really good. Doesn't look much from the road but better inside.

We stopped here for lunch. It was very busy but the staff were helpful and found us a table. Delicious food and lovely staff who all seem happy and very helpful The outside seating area looked good with lots of flowers and a kids play area (although we opted to sit indoors as it was cold)

We stopped off at the Whitehouse Inn after passing it on the way back from a day out. From the road side the pub looked nice and they had a bouncy castle in the garden, perfect for our two girls to lose some energy. The pub looked clean and the staff were friendly, all good so far. The menu had... More

Booked online as the reviews/description implied this was a rural b&b Was somewhat shocked to find this was an add-on to a rather lairy looking pub...wouldn't have booked if I had known this as I've had bad experiences of similar establishments in the past, but as my only other option was to sleep in the car I bit the bullet.... Went here for a family get together lunch and was quite impressed In quite a peaceful location and fortunately the weather was lovely so we dined al fresco I had the double ham egg and chips from the specials board and must say I enjoyed it. In fact all five of us enjoyed our meals ranging from Cajun chicken burgers,... More

I only stayed here for one night but I was impressed. The room was very clean and spacious , looked like it had been recently refurbished.. Breakfast was included in the price of the room which for what I paid I thought was good value. There is a large bar/restaurant area. Didn't get the chance to eat but the drinks... More

My 93 year old Mother and I recently had another wonderful week's holiday at The Whitehouse Inn, our 4th visit. We loved it so much that we have just booked to return in September this year!! The Proprietors, and every single member of their family and staff are lovely, so helpful with nothing being too much trouble for them. They... More
