We stayed in this hotel/apartment for 10 days in July and we really liked the location. We booked a room with partial sea view on the first floor and we loved waking up and having breakfast looking at the sea from our balcony. The apartment is equipped with a kettle, some cutlery, (handy for when you get takeaway food) a wine opener, fridge that has a freezer section in case you buy ice creams, hairdryer, tv, and chairs & a small table on the balcony. Beds are ok and the room is a nice size, the only thing that could be better is the bathroom. Every time we showered the water would go outside the shower, which is a bit small especially if you are above 6 ft tall. The hotel has a pool and you can use the sun loungers if you spend at least 6€ at the bar, ( they have fresh juices so we didn’t mind it at all ) also the beach is right in front of the hotel. The location of the hotel is just perfect, close to 2 supermarkets and also to a friendly fast food ( healthy one) that makes amazing gyros for 3.50€ and many others delicious things at very good prices. Our favourite restaurant for romantic dinners nearby is KriKri, has a sea view and their meat and fish platters are very very good! I am really happy we picked this hotel, the staff was super friendly and helped us a lot, they booked taxis for us and called the ferry company to help us with our tickets and also arranged other tours to see Elafonisi and Gramvousa. Most of all we loved passing through the reception to see and pet their super cute dog Bobby. We already can’t wait to go back.

The hospitality of the place is truly genuine, you feel at home instantly. No matter what, they help you out. A very quiet place at the beginning of the beach, you can easily relax at the balcony with just the waves sounding. No rush in the morning to get ont of the (free) sunbeds. We went for several walks up and down the beach and no other hotel felt better than Girogialis. The other hotels are more classic tourist places with a lot of people in the crowded sunbeds. Room with big bed, excellent air conditioning, bathroom is fine. Calm. Relax. Enjoy the beach just a staircase down from the pool area. We also had a kind surprise from Mike to celebrate our special occasion. So touching! We can’t wait to return. Love this place!!!

I've been staying with my friends at Girogiali Stalos Hotel in Chania and all was perfect. The staff is very friendly, the beach us just în front of the hotel. Also the pool is big and clean and there is a beach bar of the hotel. All the rooms are with sea side view, which was one of the best part for our holiday 🙂 The rooms were very tidy and the cleaning was made once at 2 days. So, no worries , we felt very safe. There are restaurants and supermarkets plenty around the hotel. If you need anything - recommendations, tickets for the trips, rent a car just ask to the reception and they will give you the best tips and prices. Highly recommend 🙂

It was a perfect holiday for me and my friends! The location is perfect, every room has pool and sea view, the rooms are clean and well equipped, Nassos - the manager of the hotel is very kind and helpful, he helped us with a lot of informations and reservations for excursions, car renting, airport transfer , covid tests appointments and a lot more advises for our holiday. He asked us if the couples with kids needs baby cots and he provided for each room, he came in help for everything that we needed during our stay. I stayed here with my son last week (Oct 21) and we loved it. It was exactly as described and looked just like the photos. The room was spotless and very comfortable with nice fluffy pillows. I asked for some extra blankets as I was a little chilly on an October night and a couple of hours later they were bought straight to my door so I was impressed with the service. They were very friendly and made time to speak with us when we walked past the reception in the morning. Our apartment had great views of the sea and we could lie in bed and listen to the sea. Don't choose this hotel. This hotel does not have the facilities described in the ads. The bathroom in the rooms is not larger than a shower cabinet. In the bathroom the water flowed from the toilet. There wasn't a chair in the room. There were lots of ants throughout the room and on the terrace and the hotel did nothing with it! The bathroom door was the rotten in the lower edge. Impossible!

This is a lovely hotel. The owners are so nice and made us feel very welcome! It was at the end of the season and we got three lovely rooms with balconies next to eachother, with sea-view. One minute from the room to the lovely Kato Stalos beach. The bed was good, and the air-condition very quiet. We had a lovely holiday at this hotel and would highly recommend it. No noise from the busy road behind the hotel. We changed hotel during our stay in Crete and fully experienced how much it means to have a mangagement who cares for their guests. We were leaving for the airport late in the afternoon, and got to keep our rooms till we left.

Super location, the beach is in the “backyard”, amazing view from the balcony, the pool is nice, too. The rooms are tidy, cleaned regularly, good AC. The staff is very helpful, don’t hesitate to ask them if you need anything. By far the best price-quality ratio. Extra:there is a really cute dog of the owner.

The standard room is a bit smaller but we ended up changing from the superior to standard as the view was much better and in the front of the building nearest the sea.
There are more places to choose from in the Stalos area.
