We stayed here for 4 days, and wished we’d stayed longer. So quiet and peaceful. The facilities were immaculate and we found the owners to be very friendly. Views were amazing, and at night it was so quiet the crickets were almost deafening. The roads in are a little tricky but we managed it in our 7 metre 26yr old motorhome, so most will be fine! We hope to return.

Really pretty, clean, and beautiful camp site. We were only there for one night, and would have loved to stay another night or two and try their restaurant and some hikes around. The flowers, the pool, the bathrooms were all spotless. It is a small and quiet relaxing place.

First of all, i recommend this camping ... really clean, nice pool, good infrastructures. But what a terrible owner ... i'm not talking about the lady that is really nice, but the man !!! Everything went super fine and i was called a thief at the end because i took few lemons from a tree (note there were a few on the floor) ... hours before, i asked the lady if oranges were available for buying and she told me no and that i could take some ... so i assume taking a few lemons wasn't that big a deal but i was wrong ... and even though i insisted on the man that my intentions weren't bad, really really not, he insisted on telling me that i was sneaking, stealing from him .... wow, horrible situation to live .... maybe it's because i'm french. Terrible man ... at a certain point, you have to know you're too old to handle such a place, with so many people coming by ....

Our hosts, Els and Herman, were incredibly helpful and friendly and made our time there very special, with lots of information about the local area. We stayed an extra four days. The pool was beautiful, the camping areas were lovely wit lots of shade if wanted, but open spaces available too, the bathroom block was always clean. They had ice creams to buy, and I had a massage which was absolutely fantastic after sleeping in a tent for four weeks. A really wonderful time.

We had such a fantastic stay at this lovely campsite in the Portuguese mountains. It is set in orange groves and one of our children said they were the best oranges they ever tasted. The pitches are really big, there's an excellent swimming pool and the hosts Els and Herman are lovely. A couple of times a week Els and Herman cool a communal meal. Great food and a lovely way to meet fellow campers. All in all a highly recommended campsite.
