The title sums it up, but doesn't mention that they are located in a mini-botanic garden so the surroundings are very green, with an attractive levada walk looping around a short distance uphill. My cottage was very pleasant with everything I needed including plenty of wood for the fire. There's a supermarket little more than a kilometre away. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will certainly check on availability when I return to Madeira. However, although the location is very close to Funchal it is certainly above it, quite a long way above it, and the temperature is 4 degrees or so cooler than on the coast. Sometimes that is a good thing.

I had an amazing 2 week stay in the cute little house Palheirinho on the Valleparaizo estate. It's very quit and the garden is absolutely gorgeous. I had a warm welcome from Leonor and the familie. Leonor showed me around and took really good care of the house and made sure everything was cleaned when I was away. Every house has a lot of privacy so there is enough space to fully relax and enjoy your holiday. I have seen different places on Madeira but this was by far the best. I would recommend it to anyone that likes to be close to nature, enjoy the local culture from a small town but also have the beautiful and vibrant city centre of Funchal in less than 15 min away.

Cosy cottages, beautiful gardens and great service. We have been several times and it keeps improving. Highly recommend the homemade jams, bread and queijadas/sweet cheese pastries and the lovely levada/irrigation channel you can access at the top of the property.

During a moving worldwide period we enjoyed a very pleasant and safe stay here.
Madeira is a wonderful island to spend time, with a lot of things to do, even in this period.
The casa was a wonderful, clean and quiet home.

We spent 15 wonderful days in our small house "Palheiriho. This charming house surrounded by a private garden offers all the comfort as a traveler in search of comfort research. Casas Valleparaizo is the perfect place for a relaxing vacation closer to nature. The houses spread out over a very large area offer plenty of privacy and independence. We enjoyed the little touches of Leonor and Sofia and their extremely warm welcome.
The situation casas valleparaizo in Camacha is ideal. It is easy to stock in supermarket and the small farmers' market on the village square.
It is also very easy to visit the island from Camacha and very
nice to be only 15 minutes from the pleasant capital Funchal.

Very near to Funchal (however you need a car in any case) this place called "paradise valley" is really a beautiful place! Surrounded by a huge garden you will find various small and medium houses; just check out the homepage of Casas Valleparaizo. We enjoyed our breakfast (quite often outside in the sun; it was December!) in a relaxed and easy going atmosphere. Because at night it was a bit chilly the rooms had electric radiators, in the living room we had an open fire. Friendly service, clean rooms and a good equiped kitchen. A perfect place for us to discover the island with all its beauty.

What an amazing place to stay, a cozy cottage in the woods, surrounded by bird song, flowers, and tranquility...absolutely perfect. The cottage was equipped with everything you need for self catering, close enough to civilisation but private enough too. The owners are lovely, and the housekeeeper leonor. We loved coming home after our daily travels around the island to hershka and bobby the dogs, the peacocks (and chicks) and daily visits to the cottage made by the old ginger cat. Sweet old puss who knew where the fridge was! We are animal lovers so enjoyed giving them all treats. Would definately go back, the only negative was that it felt like we were leaving too soon. A beautiful island indeed. If you like tranqulity, nature and the simple things in life you can't go wrong.

We stayed for two weeks at Casas Valleparaizo. Our cottage was equipped with everything we needed. In the kitchen you can prepare breakfast or lunch incl. coffee machine, refrigirator, hotplate. toaster etc.
You will sleep as well as home and the bath includes everything you need.
Under good weather conditions we were able to sit outside to have breakfast (sometimes visited by two nice dogs and a cat) or for a glas of Madeira in the evening.
There also is a fireplace but we didn't use it because we often were too tired after our walking-trips to enjoy it.
There is a nice garden you can walk through, and there you will find a peacock and -hen. Sometimes the peahen will also visit you at the cottage. Beautifull!
In the morning you will be wake up by a cock so you have a chance for a long day to do interesting things, or you ignore it to sleep even longer, it will be up to you.
The personal ist very friendly and helpful
In any case we are sure you will enjoy your stay in casas Valleparaizo
