We stayed in calhau Grande in November and it really was amazing. Sofia and her mum Eva made us very welcome and the eira villa was just beautiful. We had our own private garden with a panoramic view of the ocean. Can't help but relax when yr here. Definitely recommend a stay here.

We stayed at Calhau Grande for 1 week in the cottage called "Eira". We were warmly greeted by Mrs Gouveia (Sofia's Mum) who showed around the grounds. Even though it was night time we could see that the gardens and pool area were very well maintained. The cottage was tastefully decorated, with traditional wood furniture made by Mr Gouveia. The...

We stood at Calhau Grande for one week simply to relax. Sofia, the landlord's daughter, who is also managing the cottages, welcomed us warmly and showed us around the pool (which we didn't use) and the garden (having fresh herbs we were allowed to pick) before she led us to our cottage "Eira". Eira is sort of a maisonette with...
