Just come back from a fabulous week first time in Portugal hotel beautiful food was fantastic something for everyone hotel so clean staff very friendly and they go out off the way to help you the only thing I would like to mention is the Sunbed’s around the pool need to be replaced as very worn and uncomfortable had a wonderful holiday definitely return to this hotel
We stayed two weeks and the Tui Blue Falesia is a wonderful hotel. The food is especially good. We loved that there was a vegan corner of food and used that a lot even though we are not vegan all the time. The breakfast food was healthy. A full English was on offer but yes the bacon and sausages are different but really tasty. I loved the Spanish tortilla too. The dinner buffet offered two types of fish and meat and a roast of some meat or whole salmon plus fresh salads, three types of potatoes and rice plus vegan foods as well. The deserts were lovely and the pavlova and tiramisu went fast when on offer. There was cheese and biscuits as well- so no complaints here. The outside pool temperature was lovely late April when it was hot, as it was so refreshing being that bit cooler swimming in a heated pool. We loved it and swam twice each day plus in the sea as there is two beaches nearby. There are steps to go down to both beaches and sun beds for hire on the larger beach. We did some of the free classes and Nordic walking was fun with Bruno as I saw some of the local countryside. Hubby did some bike rides with a local firm and enjoyed that too. Sun beds are plentiful but as usual people put towels down on the best ones at about 7.30am and then do not turn up till late morning. I do wish that habit would be discouraged. The evening entertainment is mixed and we went out to another hotel when the acts at the Tui were not to our liking. The rock group on Thursdays were the best all week. The bar service was fine for us and we had no problems getting an order in. The hotel staff including all reception staff were very friendly and ever so helpful. The Tui blue guides were always on hand and they made time for each guest like they were VIPs. We had water in the room every three days and that was great and we asked for a mid week bed change via the Tui Blue ap and that happened the very next day. We also had a fridge issue and again that was fixed within minutes of us asking for maintenance. The overall level of cleanliness in this hotel is to be commended. The age group of guests was very varied from younger adults to some in their 80's. Catering to all ages was done to perfection and we are very pleased we booked this hotel for our post lockdown holiday.…
Just had 10 days here and thought the hotel and staff were excellent. The whole team were friendly and professional and spoke multitudes of languages. Hotel is immaculate, food is great. Pool is large and never busy, plenty of loungers. We hired a day bed which was very relaxing. The rooms are large and very comfortable. On site spa provide some great treatments and the sauna is a great way to end the day. Old Town is only a €10 ride away so easily accessible for some lively night life.
Went to the above hotel in June this year, it was a very nice hotel. The reception area was lovely with various seating areas also the rest of the hotel was really welcoming. The food was excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner you will be spoilt for choice. the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was great but cold but once in it was ok, waiter service around the pool but a snack bar next to it opens at 10am and closes at 6.30pm has food and drinks all day. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were cleaned to a high standard, sheets and towels new every day. The only down side was getting to the beach, one bay there were over 100 steps and the other about 300 so you need to be fit to attempt this. There is not a lot around the hotel although a small area with restaurants and a few shops but the hotel is so good you dont need to wander unless you go on excursions. Really worth the visit…
Just back from a family holiday here for a week two adult kids 22 and 20 and me and OH. Very relaxing. super clean and very friendly. We played tennis , did yoga, did a couple of fitness classes but generally ate and drank, Standard of food was good and varied. A la Carte was delicious. Evening entertainment was low key but really enjoyable,,, Marcela in the restaurant was super nice as was the lovely lady on reception, nothing was too much trouble for her. Beaches both the little and large one which are easily walkable were scenic and great waves. Nicola who does yoga and aquafit was also very welcoming. We booked this pre pandemic but was defo a really good holiday thank you Tui Blue Falesia
We have just returned home from a lovely week's holiday with my mum and dad, celebrating our 20th and mum and dad's 60th diamond wedding anniversary. My husband and I have been coming to the Falesia since 2018 but this was mum and dad's first visit to Portugal and they loved the hotel, the large room, beautiful gardens, food lovely, cleanliness throughout the hotel and friendly staff. Their words were "I think this is said the best hotel we've have stayed in". A big thank you to Susanne and Sandra for the extra special touches for my mum and dad's anniversary.... the cake was delicious. Bar staff Sonia, Nelson, Nano, Monica to name but a few are a credit to your hotel. We needed to hire a wheelchair for my dad on the day we arrived, this was organised by Reception within minutes of me speaking to them.... great service. Myself and my husband will be back again this August - see you on the 18th! …
Just returned from 10 days at this hotel. The staff are very good and always polite and helpful. Sun beds are an issue, towels left on most sun beds around the pool. Very frustrating, the TUI Blue reps are trying to get a grip on it, but it wasn’t working. Entertainment good, especially the Saturday night guitar duo, fantastic, best entertainment at any hotel we’ve seen. Excellent rock guitar players, had the audience in their hands after 5 minutes. So good we made sure we had our meal at lunchtime to get a front row seat. We would pay to watch them. We stayed half board, we found the choices at meal time too repetitive; so we ventured out to give variety. Paid 18 Euro for two G&T’s at the main bar, 6 Euro for a large local beer and a bottle of white wine 27 Euros. It wasn’t anything special. 2 Euro for the tiniest bottle of water at the pool bar. Was ridiculous. I guess they have to offset the all inclusive drinkers. So you need to take that into consideration. Large bottles of water provided free in hotel rooms. Another sign of the times, we did a day trip to Lagos and to the ‘End of the World’. It was an all day trip, but the first 80 minutes were picking up passengers from other locations. The same on the way back, so made the day longer than necessary. But I guess that’s just another Covid after effect. Whilst of course you don’t go on holiday to watch TV, sometimes you like to watch something in the evenings before dinner. Most channels available were German, French and Portuguese. The only English option was BBC 1 and BBC 2. It would have been nice to have a few more channels to watch. One beach is about 15 minute walk, down lots of stairs. The other whilst further away: offers more refreshment and shopping options and is much more accessible. If your looking for a poolside / beach holiday, this hotel is perfect . But for us, it was a little remote. Enjoyed it I guess, but wouldn’t go back to this hotel or area. Hope this helps, have a great trip if you book here.…
Loved this place. Settled in and relaxed so quickly I was amazed. Brilliant staff, brilliant food, brilliant room/facilities. We went all inclusive which was well worth it. The food on offer was amazing. Incredible variety at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Especially loved the veggies and seafood. Never eaten more healthily ! If you can't find something that appeals there is something very, very wrong with you ! Enjoyed the entertaiment particularly the afternoon DJ sets beside the pool. Cleaners do a great job. Air con in the room did work but wasn't adjustable. Don't know if that is a seasonal issue. Nice balcony and great view over the pool and the sea. I normally dislike being tied to a hotel via the all inclusive option but this place was so good there is no reason to leave. Simply loved it. If I ever want to go somewhere I know I can instantly relax this would be it !…
We stayed over Half Term week, travelling with my brother and sister-in law and we loved it. I'd read all the reviews prior to travel so was prepared but more than pleasantly surprised. Stunning views, lovely staff, excellent service and accomadation and overall a fabulous holiday. We were looking for a chilled week in the surroundings a Tui Blue could offer and we weren't disappointed. I usually feel a bit anxious in busy hotels and I have never felt as relaxed as I was on this holiday. Groundsmen, hospitality staff, wait staff, cooks, cleaners and activity staff were consummate professionals and were approachable and friendly. Food was lovely and we all said we really couldn't understand why some people had issues with the food. We were All Inclusive and there were never any problems with either the quality or quantity of food. Fresh fish and meat cooked in front of you every day to replenish the counter, attentive staff who did everything to cater for your needs. I wish I had seen the names of everyone to personally thank them again for going above and beyond to make sure we were happy. All food groups available, huge range of fish, meat, veg, fruit, salad, fantastic desert counter and literally something everyone. We ate at different times for our meals but often towards the end of Service but we never felt rushed and the standard of service was always outstanding. The pool was very busy and we didn't use the sunbeds until our last full day and then struggled to get one. I think it might be worth enforcing the policies to avoid saving beds as some guests did manage to have the same beds in a prime location every single day. Having said that, we sat on the seats around the outside and we were more than relaxed. And the beach is beautiful so whilst lying around the pool is lovely, do visit the beach as it's secluded and stunning. (The steps are a manageable challenge for most and you can reward yourself with a drink after!) We celebrated our 20th anniversary and were really grateful for the surprise card, with such a lovely message, special touches wth the room (thank-you again) and bottle of sparkly. A special shout out to DJ Kush! We loved this set! If there was one thing we'd say could be improved it's to have music round the pool. This would have made the stay 💯 plus for us and both the occasions where there was music, which included live music from the Saxophonist and Guitarist, proved that you can play music without it alienating guests or affecting the atmosphere. We spoke to guests of different ages and all had enjoyed the music so it could be something to consider, especially as the evening entertainment, whilst popular, might not be for everyone. The holiday exceeded our expextations and we will absolutely be back again. Thanks Tui Blue Falesia, Mel xx…
We stayed in this beautiful hotel for 10 nights all inclusive. Food was lovely and very fresh with plenty of choice at all meal times. Staff work very hard and were very friendly. Entertainment in Hotel was good some nights. In particular the Rock Band duo and the 4 lads called Brasa Doiradh were very good. Red wine was good as was the Gin with Schweppes tonic. Lovely pool area tho sunbeds with parasols were taken quite early in the morning. Lifeguard did his best to find sunbeds for people. Steps down to beach could be an issue for some people. A few bars and restaurants 15 minute walk away and we went to the Indian Palace twice, food and service excellent.
