Can’t suggest this place. After the confirmation via email, she admitted she forgot our reservation. In a overbooked naxos in the middle of August that’s not acceptable. She tried to find another accommodation without success. She refund us with 50€ but the average price room for this period is 200 per night. I think that to find the room is the minimum request by a guest when book for an hotel. Very disappointing.
Just got back from two weeks here and what a wonderful time we had. A warm welcome from the owner awaited us when we arrived. The apartment was perfect and only a few metres from the most perfect beach. The lady that cleaned di a fantastic job and sorted our room out every other day. A great stay and I am sure that we will return next year.
In our opinion, the most beautiful house in which we lived on the Cyclades. Quiet location right next to a beautiful golden beach. Great kind and friendly service. In the evening you can hear sound of waves and cicadas. Rooms nice, clean with a beautiful view of the dunes and the sea. In the apartment there is a nice bar among an olive grove.
The location is just perfect! If you come to kitesurf or to discover the island. Season is over in october what means it’s not crowdy but a lot of restaurants and hotels are closing in october. The studio has a Nice seaview on the terrace, clean rooms and Victoria is a super friendly and helpfull host!!! Thx Victoria for the nice stay!
We stayed at Victoria appartments for 3 days and only good words we have for our stay there. Mrs Victoria and her husband was very kind and helpful with everything. The room was nice with a very good view at the sea that is exactly at your front. Hot spot the nearby victoria cafe for coffees, snack and great coctails..
Victoria Studios probably enjoy the best location in Mikri Vigla in that the beach is at the bottom of the property. Some rooms are almost on the beach! It is the quiet part of the beach as well a little bit further away from the sports side of it. There are three different buildings and we stayed in what is perhaps the oldest. The room furnishings are basic but comfortable and very clean and the little kitchen is quite well equipped although we dont cook so we only used it for making coffees. Naxos is one of the greek islands where you dont have to be lucky or have inside information to find good places to eat - most places are good and a lot of places are very good so I would suggest eating out on this island. The only area where the room suffers is the bathroom which is small and uncomfortable but is the same as in almost every other place we have stayed on the island and we have tayed in loads as we have been visiting for almost ten years now. You can definitely live with it and with the luxury of being able to hear and see the sea from your balcony you would need a lot worse to spoil your mood. The rooms are well built under principles that were common everywhere in Greece but seem to have been abandoned with some new builts in tourist areas Naxos included. So the rooms have both front and back windows so that the breeze can flow through and cool the room down naturally, the orientation and porches are designed to shade the windows and doors almost thoughtout the day and the balconies are placed in ways that ensure some privacy. There are mosquito nets provided I think -another useful thing as Naxos has lots of mosquitoes. In my opinion it is much better to use them and leave the doors /windows open to enjoy the sea breeze rather than close everything and use air conditioning. The owner is very polite and helpful and I am sure would be pleased to provide any help or info you might need. Mikri Vigla tends to be more expensive than nearby areas (Plaka,Glyfada, Kastraki) probably due to the sports facilities here. For probably half or near half the cost of a room here you can stay in a perfectly good room in one of the nearby areas. Plaka beach is probably prettier and more quiet in my view. But if you choose to stay in Mikri Vigla then Victoria is definitely a very good choice.…
We stayed 8 nights and were sad when we had to leave. We all, including two children (6 and 7 years), liked the place a lot. Being right at the beach was fantastic to have a quick swim before breakfast etc. while having the North and South beaches of Mikri Vigla ensures that you always have also calm waters on windy days. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the kitchenette was better equipped than others we have had.
Victoria is a friendly guest. Her place is perfectly located : not far from the port but out of the main spots. And it's just on a beach. The studios are ok, even if ours was a little small. But we enjoyed a great view on the balcony. And the price is perfect.
Nice set of 20 or so apartments built in the local style in small blocks. Just 500m from the main road down a dirt track. Good sized rooms cleaned almost daily with fresh towels daily and sheets every other day. Good kitchen area, not huge but modern equipment and good fridge. Shop on the seafront was lots better value than the other on the way out . Our block was 100m from the beach but unobscured views. There's an under used nice bar on site, which serves breakfasts and snacks. Great for kids safe enclosed site with other families around.
Lovely place and lovely host - Victoria makes sure that the guests settled well. We enjoyed very much our stay. The room was very comfortable. There are two beaches very close - one on the north of the hill and one on the south. When the north wind blows, the south beach is quiet. Also, the south beach is perfect for the kids. A few tavernas are also very close.
