There were no storage spaces in the rooms. 2 adults and 1 child, we had to sit with the suitcases lined up around the room, because there were only 5 hangers in the closet and 4 small drawers, in which we didn't know what to put first. Peeled bed. Broken balcony tiles. The windows did not close well. Mess in the rooms. Very strong pillows, made of an execrable synthetic, you couldn't sleep on them! The air conditioning works on a single stage of heat and intensity. The employees were struggling, but there were big shortcomings, which could not be solved with a smile.

Positives: Amazing views Good service in the restaurants and bars Great selection of food and good quality 2 lovely pools with incredible views (comfy sun-loungers) Solid standard of bedrooms Lots of nearby bars and restaurants along the beach if you fancy a change one evening Negatives: Reception! Not enough staff and the reception counter is way too small for a hotel with so many rooms. Every other guest we spoke to moaned about the poor check-in and reception experience. The overall efficiency could be greatly improved with an IT upgrade, with far too many tasks done manually on paper. (So many of the negative reviews I’ve read on here relate to poor check-in experience, and I hope the hotel can address this for the sake of their review rating.) The Spa: I think this is run by an external company to be fair, but the quality of message was low but the price was high. Not a very relaxing environment, and I wouldn’t recommend a treatment here. A lot of people commenting that this is not what they consider a 5* hotel, but you are not paying 5-star pricing! It is not fair to compare this hotel to a Four Seasons or St Regis, as you’re paying a fraction of the price. For the price we paid, the value was incredible and we had a lovely holiday. Definitely recommend for couples and larger groups alike.

As others mentioned here, this is not a 5* hotel. I would expect more from a 5* hotel, including better staff attitude. The receptionist was rude, I asked for a room with a separate beds and she said she has to check with her staff and had me standing there for 15 minutes while was serving other guests who just arrived. When they finally gave us our keys and we came to the room, we had no separate beds as we requested. On another occasion I went to the reception to ask about bike or moped rentals but the guy who was there was so confused and could not help me at all. There were no water sports offered, no activities at all. I do not know if this is because of the COVID, but we had no other choice just to sit on the beach every day. The food was good, but again, not great considering this is rated as 5* hotel. And it was getting little predictable, and we stayed only for 5 days. I found hair in my food 3x. The water they gave us on the first day smelled like pool water. Any meat they serve is very hard and chewy. On positive side, the location is beautiful, loved the view from the Petra Restaurant. I would not recommend to stay longer than 3 days here, as there are no activities offered. And if they do offer activities, they for sure dont tell you about them!

They cancel our booking just few days before of our arrival with no reason and they change our reservation to a sister hotel from their chain, one hour away distance from the one we choose. No option for a free shuttle in this case, no nothing. They didn’t answer the phone, very bad communication on emails without answering our questions. Unfortunately, I read carefully the reviews after this experience, not before, and there are many other people accusing this behavior.
