Just as beautiful as the photos! The rooms are small but the incredible view from the balcony and the restaurant terrace more than make up for it.
Very romantic spot, close to the ferry so easy to get across to Cres in the morning. Staff were lovely and attentive to a solo traveller and the food was delicious. I’d definitely come back!

We thought we would drive along the coast road from Opatija to Pula and find a bar for lunch looking over the sea.
We drove and drove.... Just short of an hour, and we were beginning to think we were not going to find anything outside one of the beach resorts. Then all of a sudden - Hotel and restaurant Flanona.
Assume it was built for the view with an amazing terrace. Good food choices although we only had pizza, salad and fries with a couple of beers. Fantastic views on a sunny day.

Delighted. Small hotel but very nice and clean rooms. Fantastic balcony with more than fascinating view. Ask for rooms number 4 or 5, they have the biggest balcony and best view. Very kind and helpful staff. Breakfast could be a bit better and bigger but staff is very useful and they will give you and make you whatever they can. We couldnt believe that this is only 3* hotel. Truly great value for that kind of money. Absolutely delighted with everything and highly highly recommend to everyone. We will definitely go back there. What a view!!!!

We visited this hotel in July 2012.
This hotel is located on a overlook point with spectacular views over the sea. The hotel is built into the cliff with support beams that creates a deck that hangs beyond the edge of the cliff. A lot of tourists driving by take their lunch at the resturant and enjoy the view.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the service was good. There are small beach bays nearby (small rocks, not so much sand) that can be reached by a 30 min. walk by roads and forrest paths down the cliff side. Very steep, so watch out. These small beaches are very secluded and do not get many visitors. The hotel manager was kind enough to show os how to get to these beaches.

The hotel is located a bit away from everything else, so it is advised to have a car so you can drive to nearby towns. The nearby city of Pula is very much worth a visit.

That is small hotel by side of the roads and only 3* but have 7* view. Rooms are small, bathroom is tiny, breakfast is bit disappointing but location on top of rocks over Adriatic sea has million dollar view. We have been hypnotized with it and spend every single minute on restaurant terrace to watch landscapes, closer and farer islands and looking at point where sea is transferring into sky. Strongly recommended place to stop by and relax enjoying view. All small disturbances has been paid off with view

Had no idea what we were getting into by picking a hotel that looks like a space base... but it is amazing. Away frim the busstke of the cities, my impression was that it was a stopping point for many German and Italian motorcyclists. Great clean room, brilliant views, excellent staff, and a special thanks to Danantonio for fetching the ciccada out of our room. Go there, you won't regret it.

Me and my wife stayed in beginning of july when we had a one-week holiday in Croatia. We spent there 7 days in a row and we can say that we definetely suggest everybody such a good hotel. Service, room, staff and food was very good. Strategic position to reach many places in both Istria and Quarner also islands. We think very good ratio quality vs price.
Be confident to choose this place.

We absolutely loved this hotel. it sits on the edge of a mountain with the most spectular views. You can just sit and look out forever. The service was great, the food was great, the rooms were great. One of the few places with wi fi which my daughter loved. all in all just fantastic.

When we travel on a usual route we always stop here for a coffee and dessert break. This time we decided to stay for a dinner and ordered pljukanci with truffles, turkey with fuzi pasta and sage sauce and pasta with frogfish with poppy sauce. It was delicious, the sauce was very creamy and tasty. The meal price is relatively low for a restaurant with magnificent location like that. One bonus tip, house wine is very good, tried it on a few occasions. We did not rent rooms though so I'm rating a restaurant only.
