We booked a private pool room. It was ready an hour early for us, we paid €80 for a late check out until 6pm on last day and was able to have dinner before leaving for the airport. Totally worth it.

Hotel was clean, staff were friendly, loved the room and location. All inclusive was good, nearest shop was reasonably priced. Free sun loungers on the beech.

I am not a very sociable person but we met a lovely couple there and enjoyed a night ok the cocktails with them whilst we were there too.

The only improvement I could think of is having a bar on the beach would be amazing as it’s quite far to walk if you’re thirsty so you defo have to buy your own drinks at the beach!

A magnificent hotel for an unforgettable stay.

First of all a big thank you to Maria G from the kitchen, Ervin and all his team in the kitchen and in the room, Areti at the reception as well as his colleagues, the cleaning staff, the bartender at the pool... You are at the top and you deserve the management to know that you are doing a great job, despite your non-stop restless work you keep smiling and make you want to come back!

Beautiful holiday in this hotel.

You start by being warmly welcomed at the reception, if you arrive at the time of a meal they will invite you to go and eat before accompanying you to your room.

For my part a room with private pool in all inclusive.

Very spacious room, relatively large pool, about 1m40 deep. Sunbeds, swimming pool towels (changed every 2 days).

Welcome cakes, a bottle for those who consume alcohol, bottles of water and tea coffee set.
Bath towels, bathrobes and slippers, kits cotton upper nail file remover disc and a hair elastic and shower charlotte.

You will find 1 large bottle of liquid hand soap and 1 large bottle of 2in1 shower gel / shampoo.
Small negative on the top, not according to shampoo or moisturizer like a few years ago, please bring or buy some because the skin is quickly dried between the pool and the sun... and the hair too! There is a hair dryer available.

Negative on sdb for doors.
The bathtub has no door, the shower and toilet have a smoked glass door that does not lock, the sink between the shower and the bedroom in the entrance.
When you shower, the water comes out is a shame.

No other negatives, everything is top I highly recommend.

The beach next door is really not pretty but plenty of space.

At the slightest concern encountered, a technician intervenes directly (I did not manage to open the sliding door...) they are really adorable anyway.

I highly recommend this hotel.

We spent 6 nights with family, two adults and two children (4 years and 23 months). We had booked a Beginner Suite with private pool. It was our first all inclusive experience.

The +:
- Nice quiet hotel
- varied and good food
-beer and wine included in the all inclusive are good
- super nice and friendly staff (special mention to the cook Maria, Denise the waitress and Lamine)
- our room was spacious and the private pool large
- proximity to the beach and umbrella available on it

The - : Clearly the hotel loses a star on the quality of the all inclusive:
To be entitled to a fresh juice or coffee other than filter coffee (an espresso for example) you must take an extra "ultra all inclusive" (for 6 days it is still 210 euros per person!) We didn't take it...

I find that for a hotel of this quality it is still an aberration to serve such bad, ultra chemical "juices". I really don't understand...

In my opinion the ultra all inclusive that entitles in particular to a menu of free coktails more extensive and a better quality of wifi makes sense in both cases. But fresh juice and coffee is the basics and in an establishment that practices these Award ranges it is really disappointing I find.

We were also particularly shocked by the food waste but that is the customers not the hotel!

Overall we had a great time and it was perfect with our two young children.

So... where do you start...?
Don't choose all inclusive anyway! The breakfast is like all other buffet breakfasts mostly, but here there is a slightly poor selection of toppings. You have cheese and you have ham. In return, you have quite a lot to choose from. Salads, fried and boiled eggs, beans, sausages, cereals etc. Cold juice and lukewarm/warm milk - all from a dispenser. Waiters come and ask if you want coffee - make sure the one you get is hot!
For lunch there is a fairly good selection of food, 1 to 2 dishes change from day to day - otherwise it is the same every day. If you choose to have dinner here as well, be prepared that it is exactly the same as what was served for lunch.
Be prepared that the food here doesn't really taste like much - the very best we ate here was Greek salad (which was often empty) and a lovely feta cheese they have here.
You may also have to look a bit for spoons - which were often empty. Eating ice cream with a fork is easier than eating a boiled egg with a fork...
Waiters come around to all meals and serve drinks, here you don't get to pick anything up yourself... if you're even lucky enough to have them come to your table! We sat several times and ate without being seen.

In the pool bar, you can get yourself both drinks and ice cream - but be aware of a lot of wasps around the soda dispenser (and here we're talking about soda that can't really be compared to soda - obviously a local variant of dispenser soda)

The a la carte restaurant had 1 visit. Onion soup that tasted... nothing with a few bits of something we couldn't identify, beef in a sauce with sweet potato stew that tasted like "meat in the dark" (Norwegian home cooking) and the stew tasted... nothing. The salad was good, then - and the meat was tender. We may have made it a little difficult with the choice of wine as we ate beef and chicken respectively - the wine we got didn't go well with any of the parts. But the dessert was very good, then!

The rooms are large and nice, we had a private pool with a fantastic view. The pool is cleaned once a week, the rooms every day. But not once were they out by our pool area cleaning/emptying ashtrays - just like that area was not included in the room. And with an air conditioner you don't get below 25 degrees - then it quickly gets a little warm at night when the temperature is the same inside and outside.

We had expected more from a 5 star hotel - have stayed in both 3 and 4 star hotels which are superior to this hotel.
The staff are nice, the area is very nice and there "lives" a very sweet and kind dog in the area who does exactly what he wants - whether it's going into the buffet restaurant and eating food he finds on the floor or lying down cutest doorman at the front desk.

Typical all-inclusive 'resort'. Pool too cold, food pretty standard, too far away from the beach (can't see the beach from the resort, only can see the ocean in the distance) or the city (Chania is 30 mins drive away). The risk is always they have to accommodate families for the buffet, which results into a mix of fries, mini pizza's and average, not too outspoken local food). The snacks at the pool were pretty bad (dry sausage-bread and some cake for instance. The water melon was probably the best). For the same costs you could easily get a better room and enjoy much better food in the city or other nearby restaurants. Rooms are clean, but the room we had felt like a basement. The images they share is always the best one, but the basic 'garden' room on 1F is dark and sad. The room itself was clean and well equipped, excellent (warm) water pressure in the shower. I would not recommend this place.

We had been looking forward to a holiday with the children, with our own pool and a nice room. We arrive and the first notch in the bill falls, we had to pay €10 per day in taxes! We even arrived late in the evening, and have to leave tonight - but still have to pay for the two days we don't use here. The pool was downright disgusting, with lots of animals, and completely green and yellow along the edges. They took 3 days to come and clean it, and yet the next day, it looked the same because they don't put chlorine in. The girls sleep on 2 sofas that are made up, which they call "sleeping sofas", but just a module x 2, that is, a sofa!! The room is a made up corpse and the cleaning is also really bad. A dog runs around the restaurant and eats as soon as someone has dropped something on the floor, and if you didn't lose your appetite just looking at the food in the buffet, you would when you found hair around it. The food is disgusting, undercooked, tasteless and absolutely horrible!!! Their "children's buffet" typically consists of 1 x frozen boiled small carrots, 1 x fish, which really stinks of fish, and some form of... Yes, stew. Even the adults have struggled to get food down, and we have spent a LOT of money on transport to and from town to eat other food. We even fed the girls with noodles we bought in town so they could be full. It is dirty, and it is clear that Sunweb and the hotel itself are NOT part of the hotel star classification, and have set stars themselves. The hotel is ABSOLUTELY NOT a 4,5 or 5 star hotel! It's MAX 3 stars if we're really nice. Definitely NOT a place to go on all inc! Same food every day, same DEAD sick breakfast too. Homeless dogs and cats everywhere too. Nothing positive to say other than some of the staff are super nice. We feel REALLY cheated!

The hotel is a nice hotel with control of things that are clean and nice everywhere and the staff a very service mind that is all in top, the pool area is really delicious therefore so the waiter in the pool bar sometimes very busy so a lot of waiting time must be expected.
If you want to dive in the sea, then Crete’s second worst beach is about 350m away from the pool, it is absolutely not suitable for children and people with difficulty walking as there is a thick layer of rock in the water edge.
The restaurant has a very large selection of accessories such as vegetables and salad.
BUT the selection of meat is very poor that is cold and completely without taste a real disappointment of such a nice and expensive hotel.
You can choose to visit their a la carteresturant which is free of charge 1 time per stay They can really cook food that tastes something and is worth a visit.

This is not a 5 star hotel, rather a good 3 star hotel.
Our suite was very big and the terrace and the private pool both really good size. Pool was cleaned once a week.
Rooms are dated but adequate and the AC in the lounge was a bit noisy and did not work all that well.
Rooms are cleaned daily but the service is not that consistent and requires occasional prompts or reminders.
There is a beach nearby but it is rather poor. There is also not a lot to do in the local area so a car is strongly recommended to visit some really nice places.
Hotel grounds are large and green and the area is peaceful. The view of the sea is quite pleasant.
The food served is good and offers a lot of local variety which is nice. However, the restaurant always seem understaffed. This mean most tables are not set properly for the service. Daily requests for basic items like, cups, teaspoons, milk jugs and so on become really silly after a while.
The main pool is a bit small and if a hotel is full it gets quite busy. Morning lounge reservations with a towel are an issue and hotel should do more to discourage that.
If you can, a private pool is highly recommended.
The al a carte restaurant offers nice food and excellent local wines.
Kids club (5+) is 4 hours a day and ran by friendly and professional staff, although this offer should be extended.

We have been at the hotel for a week, on family vacation. 2 adults and 2 children aged 1 and 5 years. The hotel has nice rooms. Especially those called Supiorroom with private pool can be recommended for families with children. The food at the hotel is OK, nothing to shout hurra for. Soda spm is included in all inclusive is a little thin and watered and is copies of “fanta, cola, sprite” etc. There is a little entertainment for the kids that says there is clubhouse and they are too, but there is only 1 person hired to manage it and she seemed honestly a little tired of his work.
There are good pools with space for everyone. However, the adult pool is a bit deep, 1.45 cm.
All in all a nice holiday, although it all feels a little ‘half’.

Really bad food! I have had bad stomach all week, it was the same boring and unprepared food we ate every day.. it is sad when you just spent 24,000kr on a holiday, which results in stomach problems.
The soda was thin and boring, the same can be said about the juice.
3 hot dishes which were the only thing that was changed out every day, otherwise the food is the same every day and there is not much to choose from.

The room was nice, we had booked a room with private pool and we were happy for that.

The pool bar was nothing to shout hurry for. The bartender was slow and most cost extra. One day a slush ice cost 1 euro, the other day it cost 2...
