We loved everything: location, apartament (very clean), beach and owners. When we arrived, Darija told us some useful information about the Dubrovnik. Near the apartament is fish market when you can buy excellent fresh fishes :) The apartament is very close to Dubrovnik, but there is quiet and private. Perfect for a couple - very romantic view :) Beach is amazing for snorkeling - we saw starfishes, a lot of fish, plants etc. I wish we could stay longer.
Stayed 6 nights and enjoyed everything. Peaceful location and lovely views. Private beach. Friendly owner but inobtrusive. Easy drive into Dubrovnik but a local bus service is available too with the stop a reasonable walk away but we didn't try it. Dubrovnik very busy now with cruise ships even though we were off season. A nice little bay at Zaton with a few places to eat and easy free parking. A nice holiday!
Our stay here at Bajo apartments was very enjoyable. The view from the terrace is really amazing, and you have your own beach. It is located a few minutes outside Dubrovnik, but if you have a car or a motor (or rent a motor), this is a location to be (if being in the center is not that important to you, and you also want to just relax on the terrace for a day or two). The host Darija is very kind, there was no problem if our friends passing through Dubrovnik stayed a night with us in the aparment, and she makes sure you have everything you need. We also got a home made biscuts for a wellcom snack. The kitchen has, what is needed the most, but doesn't have a stove. But there is a big outdoor barbecue where you can grill and than enjoy your meal on the terrace.
Can only say great things except for getting into the place. I said my prayers every time we approached at night. Friendly people; fantastic view. All the conveniences of home. We cooked light meals and we also bought some of their liquer to bring home. Havent opened it yet. I only wish I could have gone swimming........ next time..... will be warmer... Our last night was rather coolish though and we didn't know how to turn on the heat - no remote around for the air conditioner/heater. It was a wet wet night so clothing felt damp/. Our hosts emailed me the pamphlet they had available in the room - it had tremendous information about the area - all the historical dates, etc. Very informative and a nice touch.
My boyfriend and I spent 9 nights at these apartments and we loved it! The views are amazing and we had sea views from our bedroom window and from our terrace. The apartment had everything we needed to prepare simple meals, and we loved cooking and eating on the terrace while watching the sunset. They also have a private swimming spot which was perfect. Our hosts were so helpful and for a small fee would drive us into the okd town when we wanted. I would definitely stay here again if I was to visit Dubrovnik again!
I stayed here with my girlfriend for 7 nights a couple of weeks ago. We took advantage of the pick up service from the main bus station after buying some groceries at the supermarket next to the station. It is only a ten minute drive and situated approximately 5km outside of the main town of Dubrovnik. The apartment was very clean and well maintained, and nearly everything you need for a self catering holiday is provided. I was attracted to the apartment by the pictures of the view and it's situation, perched on a hillside on the coast. The pictures really don't do it justice....the view is stunning and you can literally walk down the steps from the apartment and jump straight into the sea! There is a bus stop about 10 minutes walk from the apartment. The road can be quite busy but as long as you have your wits about you it's not too bad. Buses run straight into town and only cost 12 kuna each way. I'd definately stay here again. You should also try the owners home made red wine!…
