I really can't emphasise enough how wonderful this hotel was. The staff were thoughtful, proactive, always professional and genuinely friendly. I looked forward to seeing them each shift change. Together, the staff made our holiday truly special and for that, it was worth staying there without any of the other superb reasons this hotel gives you. The management (Madame Saric? - Emanuela I think her name) has a rare talent. The hotel has an award winning design and the attention to detail in the rooms was a real delight for me. I'm tired of hotel rooms that put style over substance. It was chic, spacious, comfortable, quiet and great amount of storage. I could reach things and although not a specially built disabled room, I found it easy to move around and would have even stayed there on my own because I felt so safe, comfortable, I didn't need the usual amount of assistance from my husband. The view was heavenly from the balcony, the terrace and the beach. The loch is warm and perfectly calm for swimming - bring swim shoes for the pebbles down to the water or use the free hotel slippers like we did to get in and out. The breakfasts are varied and plentiful. The downside for us was that the evening menu was very international and plain (all be it beautifully styled.) I personally wanted to eat some local Croatian dishes, but here are numerous good eating places a few minutes on foot, if you want a different style. The pool is safe, easy to get in and out if you have mobility problems like me, but at the end of the season it is in the shade most of the day so very cold! I use an electric wheelchair and managed to move down to the beach going out the front door and circling the perimeter of the building rather than from the terrace, which has steps leading down to the sand, but that was a small price to pay for a lovely stay and my only effort. Also, (maybe because end of season) the bar staff at the beach bar didn't come to the loungers on the beach, so without my able-bodied husband, I wouldn't have been able to get drinks or food. I'm sure they would have carried them down if asked, but I still wouldn't have been able to get their attention in the first place without help. I would love to return to the Marinus Beach and hope you have a wonderful stay too if you decide to go.

We stayed mid May and this was probably a week or two early before the start of the season.
It is a beautiful hotel more 5 star than 4 star and our room (which was triple aspect) had the most amazing views of the village, the sea and the surrounding coastline. I would recommend the Junior Suite room.
The hotel was very quiet and this did make a difference. There were very few guests around at breakfast so there was no buffet breakfast on offer but we were brought an amazing amount of food to our table. Also in the evening the main restaurant was very quiet, although we always ate out.
We were also surprised that the Beach Bar Restaurant attached to the hotel was not open but probably would have done a few days of us leaving.
However the up side was that it was very peaceful and it was easy to book things like a spa treatment. The service overall was very good.
The hotel is very elegant and well cared for. The rooms were lovely and comfortable. The only negative in the room was the glass wall between the bathroom and the sleeping area. Not much privacy but also an issue in the night when you turn the bathroom light on and it floods the bedroom with light. We have stayed in a number of hotels like this now.
The pool is nice but in the shade a lot of the day and there is also not many sun beds near the pool and you really have to go down to the beach to sun bathe.
We loved this hotel and the village and marina. It is a very easy walk to a number of bars and restaurants. A great place to stay away from some of the more busier resorts. It is about 25 minutes in a taxi from Split airport.
If we went again we would go a few weeks later but other than that we would recommend this hotel.

I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. From the moment we arrived the staff were ALL fantastic, friendly and willing to go the extra mile. The rooms are lovely, great air conditioning (which in 39° weather is needed!) and an excellent location on a beautiful beach in a beautiful harbour town. The breakfast is plentiful and very delicious; the bar is reasonably priced and the selection is brilliant and the evening meal we had was incredible. Our trip to Croatia was my husband's surprise 40th birthday gift and the hotel gave us a wonderful desert, candle and prosecco to celebrate, free of charge, which was so incredibly appreciated. The only downside is we were in a room overlooking the beach bar and the music is very loud until midnight. It didn't bother us too much but if you are sensitive you may want to speak to the hotel in advance. We will definitely be back, we loved it!

We have just got home from a 5 night stay at this wonderful hotel which is 25 mins from Split airport. The hotel is only 4 years old, very modern, clean and all the staff that we came in contact with were genuinely very friendly and happy to help. We stayed on a half board basis and were impressed on the variety of options available for breakfast, some of which were an acquired taste! The hotel itself offers a gym, sauna, swimming pool, bar and restaurant and a private area of beach with sun loungers, beach towels provided and we were given a room upgrade as we were celebrating our 30th Wedding anniversary. There is a lovely veranda area with comfy seating to enjoy the views and watch the yachts come and go. The location is stunning and if your after a relaxed holiday, this is the place to stay. The harbour of Marina has a good variety of places to eat, a bakery and a couple of well stocked supermarkets and a frequent bus service to take you to the larger towns. We would highly recommend and would love to go back.

The Marinus Beach hotel is beautiful, all very new and modern and the cleaning is to a high standard. The reception staff were all very friendly and would go out of their way to help with any requests. The rooms are spacious with a good amount of storage and little touches like robes and toiletries really made it feel special. Spa and gym were nice with modern gym equipment although a slight smell around the jacuzzi area and jacuzzi water wasn’t very hot. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of cold/hot food and drinks, the eggs Benedict was very good and freshly made pastries were lovely. The restaurant area is a really beautiful spot to sit and look out over the marina, the only downside is the limited cocktail menu which was then reduced further by not having some of the ingredients such as mint to make a couple of them. The ones available were very good though and good value. Bed was very comfy and the air con meant temperature could be changed to preference which made for a comfortable sleep. The local area is very pretty although quite basic, there are a couple of nice authentic restaurants with delicious Pizza and a mini supermarket nearby. Trogir a 20minute drive away with lots of restaurants/bars available. Overall we would definitely recommend Marinus Beach Hotel for a great spot to holiday.

Stayed for 3 nights after a Sunsail flotilla holiday - 2 adults and 2 teenagers in 2 double rooms. Hotel was beautiful with very comfortable and clean rooms. Amazing views from the balconies. Pool was fabulous and never busy. Lots of sunbeds. The service was outstanding. We were very well looked after when we arrived early and when we had an issue with the taxi we had booked to take us to the airport at the end of our stay, the receptionist managed to find one for us at 7am that arrived in 5 minutes. Very relaxing few days in beautiful surroundings.

Great hotel with a great location. We were just passing through and felt really comfortable. The great beach in the evening was a really nice end to the day. Breakfast is amazing. Lovely breads, ham to cut yourself, egg test passed (fresh scrambled eggs)

We stumbled upon this hotel when searching our next destination. Marina is a small town, with several restaurants to choose from. The hotel itself is beautiful and new. The hotel is modern and with the latest technology, when it comes to lights, door, air conditioning. The breakfast spread had good variety and overall was good. We both enjoyed a massage and the gal was awesome! As far as the jacuzzi, it was not warm at all and the shower in the spa was not draining causing the water to escape under the door. We did inform the front desk. The beach is nice but there are not enough cabanas or chairs and when we asked, we couldn’t move the chairs from the pool. While we were there, the pool area barely got any sun to enjoy. All in all our experience was good. I didn’t care for the depressing music they played through out and I didn’t find the staff overly friendly. Would we stay again, maybe.

Nice modern hotel with attached very nice beach restaurant and good varied breakfast. Very friendly team. Only the transparent partitions between the bathroom and the bedroom did not please us. The modern Technogym fitness equipment deserved a slightly better place.

We dropped our sail boat off in Trogir. From there we traveled 25 mins to Marina. This hotel is exceptional. The staff is amazing! The hotel is a jewel. Everybody is so helpful, and kind. The pool looks over the small bay. The hotel is a short walk to a beautiful little village that is full of incredible little restaurants and shops. Top Spot.
